Chapter 500 The Final Battle
In a cave on Blackstone Mountain, Xu Beiwang was standing behind Master Wei and watching the image broadcasted by the magic formation in front of him.
It showed what was happening at the edge of Blackstone Mountain. Zhao Batian was commanding his forces in midair and thousands of demons were dashing toward this place.
Xu Beiwang said with disbelief, “I can’t believe they found us!”
Master Wei was much calmer than Xu Beiwang. “I sensed something wrong two days ago. The cultivators of Zhenjiang City had been unstoppable in killing the beasts we sent, but we suddenly lost track of them. I was wondering if they were resting or on to something else. It turns out they truly found this place. It looks like there are also many powerful beings among them. We should never look down on them.”
Xu Beiwang said with admiration, “Fortunately, you ordered the beasts to go back and set traps in this mountain. Otherwise we will all be dead!”
Xu Beiwang thought Master Wei were being too cautious when he first heard Master Wei’s plans. He even thought it was unnecessary because he believed that the demons would never find this hidden place.

“Beasts! There are so many beasts!”

“We fell into their traps?”
The cultivators of the demon clan were shocked, but they still parried the beasts’ attacks with their magic weapons. But they were thrown into chaos by the sudden appearance of these fierce beasts.
Fortunately, it was not the first time they fought with the beasts. They were not afraid to fight, although they did seem unprepared for this.
The beasts dashed into the midst of the cultivators under the onslaught of the attack. Though many of them were killed halfway in their tracks, their advantage of fighting in a melee became obvious.
Soon many cultivators were knocked down or sent hurtling. Some flying beasts even grabbed Qi-refining cultivators with their claws and threw them into the midair.

Since there were also powerful beasts in the sky, most of the Great Cultivators met their enemies in the sky. But Li Ye was still instructing the Qi-refining cultivators on the ground to hold their formation, together with the Duchess, proprietress, Hongxiu and White Wolf.

Li Ye cast this man a glance when he heard his voice. He could not help sneering when he saw the joy on this man’s face. He thought it was too early to be so happy.

The cultivators of Liuxi Town killed many beasts without the help from the cultivators of Zhenjiang city. Thought the beasts were still attacking, they seemed not to be able to cause much more damage.
