Chapter 493 Battle Of Valeant - Shocking Power (6)

Leon was taken aback by the sudden voice of the Paragon of Undeath that echoed within his mind. But when he felt all traces of this powerful being pull back from Darth's Divine Spark, he did not hesitate to completely crush and absorb all remnants of Darth and assimilate the Shadow God's previous power into his own Divine Spark.

'I had not expected the Shadow God to be a minion of the Paragon of Undeath. Does that mean there are more of them scattered through his army?' Leon thought to himself as his gaze glazed over the vast battlefield.

He immediately spotted the portion of the battlefield where Grokus and Dyson were fighting against a giant God that resembled a troll of some sort. He did not hesitate as he swapped positions with Grokus, appearing in his place while Grokus vanished and reappeared where Leon had been standing a moment ago.

Bang!

Leon raised his hand and blocked the swing of the massive God's hammer that was covered in a red light. He easily mitigated the force behind the swing and used his mastery over Gravity to make it weightless before flipping the situation and making the weight of the opposing God increase manifold.

"Argh!" The giant God, Acrominus, grunted as he was forced down onto one knee by the immense force that had suddenly appeared from nowhere and forced itself down on his shoulders.

Boom!

His aura exploded outwards and blazed as he tried to fight against Leon's influence, but Leon's presence simply grew. Acrominus was barely able to raise his head up, and when he did, he found that in his vision, Leon's figure had seemed to have turned into a giant that was about to step on him!

Without knowing it, Acrominus had developed a deep fear for Leon. He had witnessed how Darth was dealt with so quickly and he had unknowingly allowed that to plant a seed of fear in his heart, forming a crack in his will.

Now, Leon's domineering presence and powerful will wedged itself into that slight crack, expanding it ever so slightly and damaging it even more, causing Acrominus to lose himself even more.

Surprisingly, Acrominus felt a hint of disappointment coming from Leon. It made his heart burn with shame. How dare Leon look down on him? He had worked for many centuries to get to where he was. No one had the right to look down on him, even if that person was stronger than him!

"Haaaaa!!!" Acrominus' rage fueled his strength and he began to rise to his feet with the support of his giant hammer. A blazing fire burst from his body as his skin cracked under the strain of the force that pushed him down. Glowing red blood like lava ran down his body and pooled at his feet in copious amounts as he finally got back to his feet.

But that was all. He was under so much pressure that he could not even raise up his weapon to swing it at Leon.

"You don't have a trace of his presence. You are of no use to me." Leon said and calmly strode forward. His hand rose up and he delivered a blow to Acrominus, sending him bending over and bringing his face to the same level as Leon's.

Leon then held onto Acrominus' chin and placed their faces on the same level. The light within his skull grew brighter and more intense before two dense purple beams shot out of the eye sockets and drilled into Acrominus' skull.

"Argh!!!" Howls of pain and agony escaped Acrominus' mouth as he struggled against Leon, but none of his struggles mattered as he lost more and more power, eventually dropping to his knees and leaving himself to be held aloft by Leon.

Leon's eye-beams continued to drill into Acrominus' head until they hit their target, the large God's Divine Spark.

Unlike most Gods that preferred to keep their Divine Sparks within their chest region, Acrominus had kept his within hi skull, as it was the center point of his rage and his rage was his power.

It did not take long for his Divine Spark to crack and be shattered under Leon's power before the shards were promptly gathered and stored away by Leon. He had yet to completely absorb and digest Darth's power, so it would be unwise to add another completely different power into the mix.

The domineering aura around Leon faded away and he turned to find Dyson looking at him like he was a monster. He simply shrugged.

Dyson was shocked because he had never expected Leon to appear and end the battle so quickly. He had already been struggling alongside Grokus to contain Acrominus, and even then, they had been slightly suppressed. However, Leon just came along and wrapped it up so quickly that it all seemed unreal!

Aside from Dyson, around the battlefield, many others were shocked by what they had witnessed. Leon had swept through two Peak Minor Gods in quick succession and he did not even look exhausted!

The situation on the battlefield was tilted even more in the favor of the defenders of Datar. They had yet to lose a single powerhouse, while the attackers had already lost two!

In the hearts of the attackers, the shadow that Leon had imprinted on their hearts when he killed Darth had grown even larger than before.

It was because of this that an order was immediately passed among the army that fought against the defenders of Datar. A large number of celestial creatures and beings immediately split off from the rest of the army and rushed in Leon's direction.

Leon immediately controlled a portion of his army to react and intercept this sudden change in the enemy forces, but they were not able to stop them all.

Two of the three remaining Minor Gods were able to split off from the army while using the dozens of other celestial beings with them to stall the Gods in the Undead Army. They rushed at Leon, their eyes glowing with murderous intent.
