"Ah! It feels good to be alive again!" A man with a broad frame said with a long stretch. He stood a little above two meters in height, had a thick, burly body, and a head of curly black hair that reached down past his shoulders.

"Welcome back, Corrun." Fazir smiled as he sat down opposite the Ancient Sea God, who also sat a moment later.

Some time ago, the revival process of Corrun had been complete, and the Ancient Sea God had returned to life. At first, he had been bound by the shackles that tied his soul as Leon's summon, but with his extensive knowledge and experience, it was not hard to remove them. It would have been much harder, or even impossible if Leon had been stronger than himself, but he had returned as a powerful Major God, one who's strength far surpassed Leon's.

However, he had not been able to get rid of all of Leon's influences. His black hair was proof of that.

Before his death, his hair had been a deep, rich blue color that reflected his affinity for water, and his status as the most powerful Sea God. Now, as he had returned using Leon's power as a medium, he had been partially tainted by that power, and his black hair was a sign of that.

Still, Corrun loved the new look. It was something different from what he was used to, and he liked it. After all, he had always sought out excitement in the past. New things were always welcome.

"Good to be back, Fazir. I heard you have a daughter." Corrun smiled. When he had died, Fazir did not have a daughter.

"Ah, yes. She was mortal-born. But she stands by my side proudly now, a Major God." Fazir nodded, a proud smile on his face. He was very proud of Asteria, but he did not coddle her.

"Mortal-born? Hmm, perhaps I should also go fishing amongst the mortals. Something exciting might catch my eye." The Sea God's blue eyes glimmered for a moment.

"Haha, maybe something might." Fazir laughed. "But, that aside, there is something even more exciting on the horizon."

"Ah, yes. The young one told me about it. The Army of Destruction, yes? Certainly exciting." Corrun nodded his head and rubbed his bearded chin. "Speaking of excitement, the young one's record is rather stellar. I cannot believe how quickly he rose up. Never have I ever seen something so shocking!" Corrun deviated from the topic at hand once again and Fazir sighed. He had forgotten just how irritating Corrun could be.

"Focus, Corrun!" He said, his tone a bit firmer this time.

"Ah, yes. My apologies. We were talking about the Army of Destruction. Don't worry, I have already accepted the conditions of my early revival. I shall fight them to the best of my abilities." Corrun responded, his words moving in rapid fire.

"Good. I am happy to have a powerhouse like you back with us. Your strength will be extremely crucial in the war that is on our doorstep." Fazir nodded calmly.

Corrun's role would not be to fight as part of the force that would be meeting the army head on, but instead, it would be for him to act as a steady fighter to help prevent the army of destruction from pushing deep into Datar. Whenever the Army of Destruction pushed forward, Corrun would assist in pushing them back.

"That is a bit less than I had expected." Corrun's face twisted slightly in disappointment. He had wanted in on more action.

"Don't worry. You will fight a lot. If things do not look too good, then you will probably be asked to help more." Fazir assured the Ancient Sea God.

After all, the latter was a powerful God whose abilities were more oriented toward combat than a Fate God like Fazir. In fact, Fazir guessed that Michael's combat ability might even be greater than his own. After all, Michael had risen up in a time where he had to fight for his position and one of his major Domains was oriented toward Combat, unlike Fazir who was a natural born God and had little to do with War and Combat. It was not one of his major Domains and his performance in that field was nothing noteworthy.

However, as the sea, Corrun could be both passive and aggressive. He could be a soft wave in one moment and a thundering tsunami in the next.

"Hmm, I guess I can only take your word for it, then." Corrun rubbed his chin. He did not have anything more to say. "Now, then. If you don't mind, I want to know more about the young one, Leon Cromwell."

As Fazir and Corrun caught up after thousands of years, Leon was going through a much different experience.

He sat down in a cross legged position, in a state of meditation. Ambient Divine Power formed a strong vortex around him, absorbed by his Divine Spark to nourish and boost it. However, of this storm of Divine Power, only a small portion of it was absorbed, while the rest returned to the atmosphere, rejected by Leon.

The reason for this rejection was quite simple. The Divine Power that was rejected contained Laws that were not relevant to Leon at the moment.

As Leon revived various powerful beings and absorbed their power in the process, he gained more and more Divine Power, boosting the level of his Divine Spark. However, this did not boost the comprehension of the Laws that formed the foundation of his various Domains. In fact, in a way, they made it harder for him to comprehend the Laws, as his Domains were inevitable polluted by the Laws that came along with the Divine Power of the beings that he revived. Therefore, it was vital that Leon spent a lot of time on meditating and increasing his comprehension of the Laws that were relevant to his Domains and growth.
