Elante looked down at the ruined Black Iron Fort with rage and anger in his eyes. His fists were clenched tight and a vein pulsed on his forehead.

Black Iron Fort was located within the Greenhill Duchy of Rivera. The one who presided over this Duchy was none other than Elante, which meant that this attack was a direct slap to his face and dignity. If he did not make these rebels pay, then he would not be able to stand proud before the other council members.

"Insolent fools! I told Alvar to deal with you long ago!" Elante's voice boomed through the skies as he raised his hands up. The sky darkened all of a sudden and clouds began to gather while lightning flashed. He held up his hand and a bolt of lightning descended into his open palm, condensing to form a spear that was two meters long and made out entirely of lightning.

With the sky looking as if it was being overturned, combined with the turbulent winds and relentless lightning strikes, Elante resembled a furious god of lightning that was unleashing his wrath upon the world.

In his line of vision, a white haired man rose up from the dark barrier that protected and isolated Black Iron Fort from his attacks. The white haired man had a blank expression on his face as he looked at Elante.

Elante's eyes drifted to the man's pointed ears and the vein on his forehead pulsed harder. "Filthy half-blood! I will skin you alive and feed your remains to my pet griffins!" He growled angrily.

Leon stared at Elante curiously. He could feel the boundless power surging within the Elf's body and knew that Elante was a powerful demigod. Beating Elante would be a trial and half, not to mention turning the other party into his loyal summon. This was not a battle that could be fought now.

"..." A silent moment passed as the two parties stared each other down. Elante frowned when he felt Leon's level of strength. Both of them were demigods, so it was easy to feel each other out, as they were not trying to hide their strength.

'Since when did the rebels nurture such a powerful combatant? Are there more of such powerful beings supporting them?' Elante's thoughts ran a mile a minute as he stared at Leon.

"Surrender now and we don't have to go through a lengthy process. I can even give you a swifter death than others." Elante offered in a mocking tone.

"No, thank you. I don't need your offer." Leon shook his head and held his hand out. A simple looking white sword appeared in his hand. This weapon was a valuable weapon that could keep up with the rigors of A rank combat without failing, but was so detached from his true identity that no one would be able to tell who he was, unlike with the Dark Pill.

However, because it was simple looking did not mean that the properties of the sword were also simple. This sword was named Winter's Edge. It carried the power of frost and hurricanes within its blade, and whenever it was swung, a path of devastation would be left.

Elante heard Leon's reply and his face darkened. "Then die!" His roared and burst forward, moving as one with the crackling lightning that danced through the sky.

Leon lost sight of the demigod Elf, but his body's reaction did not fail him. His right arm moved and Winter's Edge was held up.

CLAANG!!!

Lightning roared through the skies while a thick wave of white, frosty wind and hail was blown across the cliffside.

The muscles in Leon's arm bulged as he fought back against Elante's prodigious strength, but he did not lose out one bit. Not only were his inhuman muscles, that transcended the norms of even A ranks, hold strong, but the powerful obsidian bones, that had been honed and tempered in battle ever since Leon came to Datar, also held strong and gave him a direct advantage in physical combat.

Bang!

Elante was shocked when his spear was batted aside. Before he knew it, the foot of Leon had slammed into his abdomen, sending him barreling backwards. Lightning crackled all around his body as he regained his balance, his eyes blazing with the light of anger.

Leon frowned as the intensity of the random lightning strikes rose. The power that they carried also went up a notch, which put heavy pressure on the dome around Black Iron Fort. He had to pay more and more attention to the barrier to ensure it held strong long enough for the airships to pack up everyone and teleport away.

Leon refocused when Elante charged at him again. This time, the power that the demigod Elf carried was twice as heavy as before and the lightning actually caused shocks to run up Leon's arm. Elante's body moved like lightning, and several powerful blows landed on Leon both from Elante's weapon, body, and the ever raining lightning bolts.

"This..." Leon gritted his teeth. He was not able to follow the demigod Elf as well as before and was only able to block about two in five hits.

Crackle! Crack!

Lightning constantly rained down on Leon's body, causing his body to go numb. His mind was beginning to get frazzled by the constant shocks to not just his body, but also his spirit.

'Leon! We're done! We're leaving now!' Nedra's voice rang in Leon's mind and he immediately retreated. His body fell through the purple dome which immediately came under the intense attacks of Elante. With no one there to withstand the blows, the barrier immediately came under the full force of the attacks and a spider web of attacks spread over it.

Crack! Crack!

Bang!

Amidst the sounds of the endless rumblings of thunder and lightning, the sound of the barrier shattering into an uncountable number of shards was not loud. Under the brightly lit sky that was illuminated by lightning, a layer of golden mana enveloped the airships moments before they vanished, right under the furious gaze of Elante.
