Time passed quickly in Fort White. Another week passed by quickly, and Leon used his time well. Throughout this time, he had focused on brushing up his new skills while working on the various formations that he had learnt those skills for.

The gravity magic formation that would allow Fort White to become a Floating City had finally been completed! Finally, one of Leon's dreams of acquiring a floating city had been completed! He felt incredibly gratified and happy with what he had accomplished.

While all this had been going on, Leon had instructed the White Millipedes to carve out a perimeter underground that separated the underground nest and magic crystal mine from the rest of the earth. With the ability of the millipedes, this was an easy task for them.

What Leon wanted was to take the mine with him, as it would be the source of power that kept the gravity magic formation active. While this action would expose the underside of the mine and make it vulnerable to attacks, Leon already had a few ideas that could mitigate this to an extent.

For that, he would need to make a short stop at Fort Bender to meet the old defense oriented A rank mage, Gustavo, that had helped to protect him from Amelia Steelheart when she had come looking for him after Divinity's Bout had just come to an end.

This would only be a stopgap measure, though. Already, Daren, the mage Obsidian Skeleton that Leon had created, was making quick gains when it came to various types of magic. Unlike Kaladin that was more offense oriented, Daren was more of a jack of all trades and could use multiple magic types.

Right now, Leon was at the deepest part of the millipede nest, where the magic crystal formation was located. The giant glowing mana crystals that surrounded the original magic formation were like pillars that held up the sky. They were so full of mana that Leon was sure that very few, if any, mana crystals could come close to the same level of quality that they had achieved.

"It's time." Leon took a deep breath. He was still in his human form. He slowly raised his arms as he let the mana within his core transform into gravity attributed mana. Several dark purple ores were placed at the center of the formation. These ores were the Gravida Ores that Leon had acquired from Drukali.

In regards to the dragon's deal with Elena, a middle ground had been reached. The dragons would return and take both Elena and Mica to their home so Mica could undergo specialized training after Elena had reached B rank.

This was a rather complicated deal. While not every person had the talent and potential to reach higher ranks, the dragons simply had to take the deal. Initially, Elena had proposed that they would come with she reached A rank, and only after some long arguments did she lower her requirements.

However, Elena was not scared. She knew that it would only be a matter of time before she reached that level, and that Mica might even be an A rank by then, so she would be sufficiently protected.

Back to the topic at hand, the reason why the Gravida Ores had been kept there was because they provided a huge amount of gravity mana to the magic formation, which made it easier for Leon to activate the spell and keep it sustained.

Not only that, but Leon also hoped that there might be a reaction that would cause some mana crystals to gain the gravity magic attribute. This would be a great boon that he would gladly appreciate.

Whoosh!

Crack!

A deep quake shook the walls and ground all around Leon. The formation blazed with even more mana as it came to life. Bit by bit, a light purple dome of mana began to envelope the entirety of Fort White. This dome was the creation of the magic formation. It even passed through the ground and enveloped the portions of the city that Leon directed it to with his mind.

Boom!

Fort White shook and quaked. Fortunately, the people had already been informed of this, and they were rather excited to live on a floating city. The people who did not want to come along on this flying city for various reasons had already moved to the growing city that was built around the walls of Fort White. The people there stared at the beautiful city shake and slowly begin to rise out of the earth.

Slowly but surely, a finely carved and rounded bottom of the city became exposed. It was even reinforced and strengthened using magic by the millipedes that had worked on it.

As the large city rose up into the sky, more and more people came out of their homes to watch the spectacle. Not only those outside the city, but even those within the city all came out to look. Awe and surprise filled their hearts and minds as they witnessed what Leon could do.

While practically everyone knew quite well that Leon was a powerful combatant, this was something else that was outside combat.

The white city slowly stabilized itself when it had climbed up to about fifty meters into the air when compared to the normal ground level. It was not too high, but Leon wanted to make sure that there was nothing wrong before he did anything else.

Whoosh!

Leon appeared on top of Michael's temple, standing at the very peak of it. This was a very good vantage point. He could see the core of his budding empire very clearly.

Not long after he appeared at the top of the temple, some of the residents of Fort White noticed the black robed figure that stood at the top of the temple.

"It's him!"

"His Excellency Leon!"

Upon seeing Leon, the people all began to cheer, surprising Leon. They were like fangirls in a concert back on Earth.

It made Leon smile. If this was before, then most people would most likely be scared of him. However, it seems his reputation of being a neutral power was strong. Everyone knew that he was not an evil being.

"Ah, this is what it feels like to be appreciated!" Leon waved at the people with a smile on his face.

At the same time, he was taken aback as he felt something stir within his core.
