Leon waved his sword around in fascination as he studied the corona of purple light that stuck closely to his sword that had been formed from the Dark Pill.

"Hmm, that's nice." He noted with a nod of his head. The efficiency of this Weapon Aura was many times higher than simply sheathing his sword in mana, and when combined with the Weapon Enhancement skill, the sharpness, strength, and overall deadliness of his sword was multiplied by several times!

The effectiveness of his new ability had already been demonstrated multiple times after they had arrived on the third floor. Now, he had easily put down the floor boss. The floor bosses here were just a tad weaker than those from the Tower of Trials, but that did not mean that they were not powerful!

Each boss had its own set of advantages that made it stand out. The first floor's boss could absorb the surrounding Bogmen to strengthen itself and regenerate its lost mass. The second floor's boss, well, it had never been able to show off its skills. The boss of the third floor was another Bogman, and since Leon was already familiar with its tactics, he was easily able to put down the fiend.

Leon looked around and noted that his summons were still clearing out the last of the monsters around them. Up ahead, the pathway to the next floor was revealed, an archway in the base of a large tree.

Only about three hours had passed since they had stepped into the dungeon, and things were going well. Most of the time was spent on finding the path to the next floor rather than fighting.

There was usually a host of hostile monsters gathered around the doorway to the next floor, but it was not too hard for Leon and his summons to take care of them. Leon would handle the boss while his summons would take care of the lesser monsters. Already, he had leveled up twice since stepping into the dungeon.

"Master." Gold emerged from the water body beside Leon, holding multiple cores. "These are for you." He knelt down and raised his hands to present the cores to Leon.

Leon nodded and took them away with a smile. Gold did not need to go and get the cores unless they had been flung away from the bodies of the monsters when they were killed, but the lizardman summon had been adamant about digging out the cores of the monsters before handing them to Leon personally.

"Alright, let's head to the next one!" Leon said when the last monster had been killed and he had turned it into a summon. Now that he thought about it, these summons would be useful in any sea battle against the Demons.

When his summons had gathered up, he took them back into the Abyss of the Undead before stepping through the archway and releasing them at once again. There were no monsters around them, but within moments, the soil at the edge of the platform began to move. Even the water around them began to bubble.

"Here we go again."

Several figures had just arrived in front of the entrance to the Despair Dungeon. There were five of them, and what was notable about their group was the fact that they were made up of non-humans.

"We finally made it." The leader of the group, a man with gray hair and two fuzzy gray ears sticking out of the top of his head said as he looked around. He held a sword and a small, round shield in his hand. He was wearing dark brown leather armor, and the insignia of the Gublin Empire, a horned wolf's head, was emblazoned on his chest. His name was Kai Gublin, a direct descendant of the ruling family of the Gublin Empire.

"What, did you think we couldn't make it?" Another person, a younger man that looked almost exactly like Kai said. He was also wearing similar clothes. This man was Joseph Gublin, Kai's younger brother.

"With you two here, it was a given we would have gotten here eventually." A young lady with a sickly sweet smile laughed at the back. She was wearing battle robes, and had a hat with a pointy top on her head. In her hands was a wooden staff with a red gem floating above it. Her name was Meredin Gublin, Kai and Joseph's cousin. Her hat hid the two red ears on top of her head.

"The three of you are too optimistic. We could be attacked at any moment." A grunt cut through Meredin's voice, and she turned to glare at the owner of the voice. A buff man with muscles bulging through his armor, Damian Gublin was not one for unnecessary optimism. He was the one who always popped the others' bubbles. Just like Meredin, he was a cousin to the two initial men. His brown ears and tail were not hidden in the least like Meredin.

And last of all was Estella Gublin, a cousin like Meredin and Damian. She held a wand with a star shape fixed on its top as she hesitantly looked around.

"Guys, let's be quick and leave here. The air here is depressing." Estella said as she looked around. Her robes and veil did nothing to hide the voluptuous figure that was hidden beneath them, but as someone who had dedicated her life to serving the patron God of Gublin, she was already tied to her faith. But unfortunately for her, with her cute ears and tail, along with her attractive features, men continued to pray for her attention.

"Alright, alright, let's be going." Kai laughed and turned to look at the dungeon. He took the front and led the group into the dungeon with a grin.

"Hold on!" All of a sudden, Damian held up his hand and looked around.

"What is it?" Kai turned around to ask.

"Nothing, I just had a bad feeling all of a sudden..." The young man said with a frown.

"...Don't worry about it." Kai eventually shook his head and turned to continue into the dungeon.
