By the time she was done tidying herself up, the waiter had already delivered Lin Jiage’s order, along with her and his dirty clothes from last night.
After breakfast, Lin Jiage and Shi Yao didn’t linger in the room for too long. They immediately checked out of the room and left.
Lin Jiage had driven over yesterday. Before he went downstairs, he had called the front desk, and someone had already brought his car to the front door. As such, the moment Lin Jiage and Shi Yao stepped out of the hotel, they immediately got into the car.
Lin Jiage and Shi Yao didn’t have much to talk about, so the car was very quiet. Other than the low-volume music coming from the car radio, there was no other sound.
The Beijing Grand Hotel was located in the most bustling area, and it was also the place with the most traffic. Lin Jiage stepped on the brakes and stepped on the accelerator from time to time. Even after busying himself for half an hour, he only managed to get from the second ring road to the Third Ring Road.

Perhaps it was because she didn’t get enough sleep last night, or perhaps it was because the car was too quiet, she felt a little bored. Leaning against the back of the car, she stared out the window, and Shi Yao fell asleep once more.
By the time she woke up, the car had already stopped.
Sitting in the driver’s seat, Lin Jiage was currently looking at his phone.
Sensing her movements, he glanced in her direction before putting away his phone. “You’re Awake?”
Before Shi Yao could say a word, he had already pushed open the car door and said, “Just in time. It’s about time. Let’s go have lunch.”
It was only after Shi Yao alighted from the car that she realized that Lin Jiage had brought her to a farmhouse. She had been to this farmhouse before, and it was at the end of last semester’s finals when Lin Jiage invited her over to Changming Mountain, the farmhouse where they had lunch.

Shi Yao frowned slightly as she followed Lin jiage into the farmhouse.
