Chapter 839 Secret Of the Crimson Family

Hell Volcanic Range, Crimson Spatial Pouch.

It had been more than two days since Max and Blinken had arrived here. The two had been going through the outskirts, but had failed to find anything.

"Are you sure about going into the inner region? No one knows what lies in there.." Blink looked at Max with a serious face.

"Well, I do. You can return if you are afraid.." Max replied with a smile.

"As if…" Blinken shook his head with a smile, "You are still too green to be lecturing me.."

How could he possibly return when Max was going to continue? Max was already near him in terms of actual ability, now that if he didn't even have as much courage as him, where would it left him?

He had his pride..

Besides, it's not like he was scared of anything. He believed that he was good enough to protect himself.

"Good, then lets go ahead.." Max nodded, and proceeded to walk ahead.

The more they got closer to the inner region, the hotter the place became. It seemed that the volcano being active was not false at all. If it blasted right now, there was quite a good chance of them dying.

'Let's hope it does not go off..' Both Max and Blinken prayed internally.

The duo continued their journey, and in all their honesty, there was nothing that they found which could really be considered life threatening to them. There were beasts around, and strange plants too, but it was nothing that someone at their level couldn't deal with.

"It feels like they had really exaggerated the story about the mountain range," Blinken muttered with a little disappointment. Even though he didn't want to face trouble and die for no reason, it still didn't feel right for nothing to happen when they were so prepared for it.

"Don't let your guard down just because nothing has happened yet." Max gave the guy a look and warned him. He definitely didn't want anything bad to happen just because they let their guard down.

"I know…I wa-" Blinken's words were cut in the middle as both his and Max's face changed a little and the two immediately turned their heads toward the opening of the biggest Volcano in the range which was still very far away in the distance.

One could see a little smoke coming out from it. But, that wasn't a problem as it was an active volcano to begin with. There was something else here which had gotten their attention.

"Do you hear it?" Max asked as he looked at Blinken.

"I didn't hear anything, but I felt something from the Volcano.." Blink replied with a frown. It was a weird feeling. And, to be honest, he had felt it many times since childhood, but it had never been as clear as it was today,

'Is something there which has been calling me?' He didn't know but he surely wanted to find out about it now.

Max, on the other hand, stood there looking at the largest volcano of the range. He had felt that calling too. But, along with that, he had heard something. It must be because he had a strong hearing.

'That definitely sounded like some beast's roar..' Max had a heavy look on his face. Even though the thing was so far, Max still seemed to have felt a little heaviness on his shoulder. And, this honestly made him realize the gravity of the situation.

One needed to know that only those above the Supreme Tier could possibly put pressure on Max using their presence or aura.

"Let's go.." Blinken broke Max out of his thoughts as he took a step in the direction of the volcano.

Max could see that the guy suddenly seemed to be in a hurry to get to the Volcano.

'I am probably right..only people like us can sense something from the Cemeteries..' Max muttered inwardly, and took in a deep breath before following behind Blinken.

Even though there seemed to be something dangerous, Max knew that he had to go ahead. It might be a foolish decision to make, but the Cemetery's were indeed like that.

Ancestral Land, Crimson Spatial Pouch.

"Roar!!!!"

The land shook as a little roar rang across the forest of the Ancestral land. It was actually a creature making the ruckus, and if one paid closer look to it, they would definitely be shocked.

This creature even though was little in size, not much bigger than a human, it kind of resembled a figure from legends. It had red scales covering its entire body, and a pair of wings on its back. It had sharp claws which could definitely tear through even the toughest of things in existence.

"Roar!!!!"

The creature once again let out a roar, and breathed a fiery amount of flames melting even the rocks into a pool of lava.

This creature, indeed, was a Dragon.

And, a real one.

"What's wrong with it today? It has never behaved like this?" Matriarch asked with a frown as she saw Old Tamer of the Family struggling to calm it down.

"I don't know what happened but..it seemed to have sensed something earlier…and tried to break through the barriers in the East..and get out.." The Old Tamer said with a troubled look on his face.

"Is it related to his growth phase?" The Second Matriarch asked in confusion. To be honest, they didn't know anything about this dragon. The little creature had been with them when it was just a baby. Their father had entrusted it to them, and asked them to escape when the disaster had stuck them in the past.

Hence, they had no idea about this creature. And, what it meant to their family. Nor did they know how to tame it. The only good thing was that it wasn't interested in anything, and had never been hostile to them.

It would usually laze around in the Ancestral land without caring for anything.

But, today..

Something was definitely odd..

'Wait..East?' Matriarch suddenly frowned.

The Hell Volcanic Ranges were in the east too..

Was this just a coincidence?
