Chapter 786 - Unexpected Situation

"What's the situation?" Rufus asked with a dark look on his face as he gazed at his subordinate.

"Sir, we still need a bit more time to repair the formation here. And, according to the Formation Master, it won't guarantee their safety. He said that the space crystal embedded in the formation had turned to dust, and this should have opened up a rift in space.."

Rufu's face immediately changed for the worse. He perfectly knew what this meant. When space was broken apart, then it would give way for one to come in contact with chaotic energy. There was no one in the world who could survive the onslaught of this energy.

This Energy had another name, and many people, including Rufus didn't know about it.

It was called Dimensional Energy.

If it didn't exist, then there would be no barrier between dimensions, and one could easily blast the restraint of space and pass onto the next dimension.

But, that was not possible with Dimensional Energy present, and as legend says, there was only one person who had ever survived Dimensional energy's onslaught, or should we say two now?

First, was the Human God, Arkansas.

And, then second was Max, who had somehow managed to stay alive after absorbing the life force of supreme. Though his situation was a little different and he could still be considered the resident of this Dimension which was not so in case of Arkansas back in his time.

"Prepare to move out.." Rufus suddenly stood up, and commanded.

"Move out?" The subordinated asked in confusion.

"Yes, prepare a team, we are visiting the location of the competition ground. If they have survived, then they should be nearby.." Rufus replied with a calm look on his face.

"Aren't the Supervisory Squad there?" The subordinate looked at him. Since, the real competition was in Orena, it was obvious that they had left some people there to keep an eye on the formations, so that no problem would occur.

"We have lost contact with them.." Rufus spoke with a calm look on his face. He clearly knew what this meant. The Orena was Demon's territory, and who else could be strong enough to go against the people of the Ancient Family but them.

'The Spatial fluctuation should have alerted those guys. But, still, why are they appearing so close to the borders?'

He obviously didn't know that, not long ago a Princess's entourage had passed through Orena near Ishtar, and for her safety, people were dispatched. And, these people had noticed the experts of the Ancient Families.

And, since Demons and Humans were like fire and water, things just had to go down that way.

"Hurry up, we are moving out in 20 minutes.." Rufus looked at his subordinate.

"Yes, Sir.." His subordinate immediately nodded. He knew that the main reason that they were moving out was all because of the loss of connection with the Supervisory Squad. As for the kids, well, even if they survived the disaster, it wasn't going to be easy to survive in Orena with only a few of them and that too when they weren't prepared at all for it.

So, in his eyes, the kids were long dead. He wasn't considering their chances of making out alive, especially when even their Supervisory Squad seemed to have met some misfortune.

….

Inner Region, Orena.

"It seems like we have been travelling for days, when are we going to arrive?" Mr. Cool muttered as looked at Bayu.

"We are almost there.." Bayu replied with a little frown. He didn't like this guy, especially the way he smiled.

At this moment, they were on another break. There was one more thing to note, their number had further decreased in these few days of travel.

Mark looked at the man who was calmly sitting outside the Princess's camp. That guy was terrifyingly strong, and with him, there shouldn't have been any casualty, but that was not the case.

He would only make a move when a Mystic Tier Beast would appear, and if not, then they were left to defend for themselves. In these few days, Mark and others had gotten used to their new way of utilizing their powers to disguise themselves as Demons.

Wilson was almost able to utilise 50% of his strength, while Mark too had achieved 30% mark. This was way beyond Bayu's initial estimate, and he was sure surprised. But, what surprised them the most was the narcissist, he had left Mark and Wilson behind by a huge margin. Even Bayu doubted for once whether this guy was a human or Demon.

Obviously, they didn't dare to praise him as that would definitely send him to cloud nine. But, one thing was for sure, this was going to be useful for them.freewe(b)novel.c(o)m

At this moment, the Princess suddenly walked out of her camp and looked at Vanadal.

"How long are we going to be camping here?"

They had already waited for a good day, and even others knew that they were not just resting here now.

"There is nothing to worry, Princess," Vandal said in a polite tone, "The rear guard team had felt some disturbance a few days ago, and had left to investigate. Apparently, they had come across a group of human experts. But, with their strength, it shouldn't take them long to deal with it. So, we are waiting for them to unite with us."

Beli frowned a little, but then nodded.

It was obvious that, Beli wasn't being escorted by Vandal alone. The moment, she had entered Orena, the experts of her tribe were already around. As for the people with her, they were nothing but for show. It was to bait those guys who wanted to seek death.

But, this was for the enemies on her own side mainly.

As for humans, well, she had connections with the Von Family, so if some had come to assassinate her, then she should have known by now. Besides, if her identity was out, then why didn't they assassinate her when she was in Human territory. To her, this situation seemed very odd.

"Did he say they were going to kill humans?" Mark asked with a weird look on his face. No matter what, it still felt odd to him on hearing that.

Wilson, on the other hand, didn't pay any attention to it. He had seen the worst in humans, he didn't care what was going on and with whom. He just cared about those who were around him.

Mr. Cool didn't react, his reasoning behind was unknown.

Bayu on the other hand smiled, "This is nothing, prepare yourself for what you will be seeing ahead.."
