Chapter 785 - Battle to Death
"Whoosh!"
An eerily aura broke out of Arnold's body, and immediately engulfed him and the surroundings.
The scene caused everyone's face to turn ugly, especially Victor who perfectly knew what this meant.
"Stop him!! Don't let him transform!" Victor shouted as a white light broke out of his body, and he immediately rushed ahead.
August took a leap as flames burst out of his body, and he went flying towards Arnold sensing a danger from him.
Faryl too reacted, but he kept his distance, attacked from a distance. The mana around him vibrated as he conjured a tide of water, and it went crashing towards Arnold.
"Boom!"
An explosion occurred as the attacks collided, and everyone was sent flying away.
"Did we get him?" Farly muttered as the dust from the explosion settled on the ground, but the scene that appeared next made a frown appear on his face.
There was a large black cocoon-like structure at the place where Arnold stood, and it was emanating a terrifying aura right now.
"Crack!"
Suddenly, a crack emerged and the next instant, a hand emerged out of it. The hand was covered in jet black scales, and had razor sharp claws.
"Bang!"
The next second, the shell blasted away, and it revealed a figure that could really struck terror in anyone's heart.
Arnold's current appearance would indeed make people call him a monster.
He had a pair of horns growing on his forehead, and his body certainly had bulked up while his limbs seemed to have gone under some kind of transformation giving them the look of a reptile.
"I feel it.." Arnold smiled as he clenched his claws before turning his gaze towards Faryl and the other guys.
"So, he was able to control it…" Victor muttered with a dark look on his face. This was the Demon form, and the true power that they could obtain from Demon heart. He too had once tried to master it, but he was nowhere near what Arnold had shown them right now.
"You traitor, I finally remember you. Never thought you were alive.." Arnold turned his head towards Victor. He had finally recognized this guy. After all, the reaction which Victor had towards his transformation was really something the guy seemed to be too familiar with.
And, Victor hadn't hesitated in sparring any efforts in stopping his transformation. Secondly, he was already feeling that this guy was looking very familiar to him, and now he finally knew why…
"Traitor?" Victor looked at the guy and laughed. "Didn't you betray your own family? I don't think you have the right to reprimand me.."
Arnold's face immediately turned dark when he heard Victor.
"Besides, you know that James is using you for his own ulterior motives…" Victor spoke as he looked at him while August, and Faryl listened from the side.
A frown had immediately appeared on Faryl's face when he heard their conversation. He couldn't help but glance at August, and his reaction told him that the guy too knew what was going on.
'Isn't this guy a part of my house? Why the hell am I the one who isn't aware of these things?' He muttered inwardly with a frown as he looked at Victor. He was sure that no one had any idea about this in his family as well. If they did, he was sure he would be aware of it as well.
'I will have to find out about this guy's identity once I get back..' He decided while looking at Victor.
"So, what if he is using me? As long as I can get my revenge nothing matters to me. Besides, weren't we all the same? What happened to you ? Did that guy hit your head too hard? Or are you afraid of him now?" Arnold mocked, he was obviously talking about Max who had beaten Victor.
"No, I realized something that you haven't. It almost took me my life to realize it, and luckily someone saved me." Victor shook his head, "But, I don't think you are going to be as lucky as me. You have already dug your grave, by going too far."
Victor's aim back in the day was to take over the Edwinson House so that people like him wouldn't be discriminated against, given a chance even if they were not from the main line. But, Arnold's reason for joining was only revenge, and he just wanted to kill.
Both of them were wrong, no doubt about it. One was wrong in his entirety, and one was wrong in his path.
"Enough of this bullsh*t! Come, I will let you feel the regret, and show you what you have abandoned!" Arnold laughed, and next instant, his body moved.
"Whoosh!"
His figure disappeared, and immediately appeared in front of Victor. But, if Arnold thought that they were easy to deal with, then he was wrong, the three of them immediately reacted.
"Bang!"
Arnold's fist struck Victor, as he raised his arm to defend himself. At the same time, Faryl and August appeared on Arnold's either side, and a fist and kick landed on the side of his face and neck.
"Whoosh!"
As soon as they clashed, Victor flew away from the impact, while Arnold staggered back while holding his neck while August and Faryl too staggered from the impact.
"Tsk…bunch of pests…" Arnold looked at the two of them as he rubbed his neck, and the next instant, his figure flashed, and he appeared in front of Faryl.
"Bang!"
His attack landed right on Faryl's chest, and sent him flying.

Arnold staggered forward as he felt an impact on his back, and he turned his head back with a fierce expression on his face and saw August there.
August obviously didn't waste another second, and continued to attack. But, he was obviously being pressured and losing his advantage.
"You are not my match any longer.." Arnold smiled.
"You think I am alone?" August smiled, and suddenly two shadows appeared behind and attacked Arnold simultaneously.
"Bang!"
Arnold's figure flew away, but he hurriedly stabilized himself, and raised his head to look at the three of them. This time, he had taken them seriously.
