Chapter 761 - The Tough Girl
"H-How is this possible?" Alina looked at Max. She was still in disbelief, unable to accept this face. From the information she had, there was no way that this guy could have been a demon.
"It is the truth. There are only a few people who know about my identity. It might be surprising, but there are humans who support me as well. And, obviously there are a few demons in this list as well. We have only one motive, that is to stop the war. We are not against any race, but against the people who are causing unnecessary bloodshed," Max said in a righteous manner.
Naze stood there looking at this guy not knowing what to make out of this situation.
Anyway, it was fun to watch at least.
"No! Wait! How can your father be a Demon! He is the son of Edwinson Lord! This doesn't make sense!" Alina glared at Max. It was obvious that she was trying her best to not fall for any kind of trap. But, her facial expression was clearly betraying her. The aura coming out of Max was very pure, there was no way that he was faking it.
Even the Demonic Transformation that she knew wouldn't grant anyone such pure aura. Of course, she had no idea about the forbidden technique of Royal Blood. She only knew of the method of using Demon Hearts to transform humans into demons.
"What you are saying is not wrong. But, my father was an illegitimate child. He was born from an affair that the Lord had with a Demon Woman." Max didn't feel an ounce of regret about bashing his Grandpa. The Old man liked to use extreme means for protecting his family. So, something like this would just be a pinch of salt to him.
"Impossible! It's impossible for Humans and Demons to reproduce!" Alina stated.
"How do you know? Have you tried?" Naze asked in surprise.
"Shut up!" Alina gave him a glare.
Max shook his head looking at this guy, before explaining it to Alina, "I don't know if you are aware of it or not, but that rule changes when one goes above the Supreme Tier."
Max had heard this from Beli, and now it was coming to use.
A frown immediately appeared on Alina's face. She couldn't find any hole in Max's story until now.
"How do you explain the Ancient Family supporting you?" Alin asked with a serious look on her face.
"Like I said, there are humans who think like me as well. And, some of them are from the Ancient Families. So, if I have enemies, I have allies too," Max replied with a calm look on his face.
Alina seemed to be struggling on her end to make a decision. She had believed Max by now. But, she still couldn't make the decision. After all, even if there was only a less than one percent chance that Max had somehow faked this situation, then she would have technically betrayed her people.
To be honest, she wouldn't care much about those Tribes. But, if the Tribes suffered a major loss, then it was possible that the humans would wipe them off, and the same fate would fall upon the common people of the Demon World.
"Sigh! You might be right. But, I can't make this decision. It's too hard for me to make this decision. Too much depends on it. In the least case, if you somehow had faked all of this situation, I don't know what would happen to all of the innocent people back at the place."
A frown immediately appeared on Max's face. He didn't think he would fail even after showing his acting skills. But, it was also clear that he didn't fail because of his lack of effort. It was just that this girl didn't want to take any risk. She even wanted that 0.00001% of confirmation that there was no way that Max was lying.
"What do we do now? We have told you so much, we can't possibly let you go can we?" Naze asked as he looked at her.
"Let's fight then, we don't have a choice. If I win, I will let you guys leave alive today. Let's hope it won't be a bad decision on my side."
Max looked at her and sighed.
As the environment in the room tensed, Naze suddenly spoke.
"Leyak Tribe is in alliance with him."
His words took both Max and Alina by surprise.
This was a big revelation. Everything until earlier was still barely within the limit, but after this, there was no way that Alina could be allowed to live in any case. If she did, then there was a chance that the Leyak tribe would be in trouble.
The Leyak Tribe were going to be a major help for them in the war. And, now this guy went ahead, and said about the alliance to her!
"Whoosh!"
Alina was obviously shocked by the revelation, and before she could think anything, Max was already behind her.
In a moment she reacted, but it was too late. She suddenly felt herself being sucked into something, and the next instant, she was standing in a different world.
"Bang!"
Suddenly, she felt a weird energy crash onto her. And, it instantly suppressed all of the Demonic energy in her body. It was not that her energy lacked in quality to this strange energy, but the sheer quantity of it in this place was insane. There was no way she could go against it.
"I almost thought I met someone from the Nether realm for once.." A voice sounded in Alina's ear, and she saw that a beautiful lady and a little girl were staring at her curiously.
"Who is this new Sister?" Sera asked as she stooped down and poke her finger into Alina's cheeks with a little frown on her face. She was having a weird feeling from this sister.

On the outside…
"What in hell were you trying to do?" Max stared at Naze.
"Calm down, I know that girl well.. Nothing good will come after killing her," Naze spoke with a serious look on his face.
