Chapter 602: A Venomous Snake

"Whom do you want to meet the most right now?" Axel asked Lear with a teasing smile. This place had Lora, her parents, and even Lear's parents. It was time to see who was on this guy's priority list.

"Max," Lear didn't seem to be in any mood of joking. He had a deadpan expression on his face. He didn't have a good night's sleep in the last two days due to the revenge Max had taken on him.

Firstly, it was all over the internet. Secondly, Lora was ignoring him. And, this had made it worse for him.

His plans to take it slow had all flopped.

'That guy…' Lear's face twisted in anger,

Just thinking about it was enough to make him go crazy in anger. Max just hadn't ruined something simple. He had gone ahead and ruined a lifelong memory that he planned to create, something which was going to go down in his family's history.

A tale which all his descendants would hear, and admire him for it.

But sadly, the tale would only be a dream now. Something which would never come true. It was laughable, he wanted it to be a fairy tale, and now it was going to be one.

How?

Well, it would be only a dream now which never existed, just like a fairy tale.

Axel stared at Lear, and was really left speechless by his answer.

He wondered if their group was cursed or something. Why in hell did they keep fighting each other?

Well, it was a miracle they still had their friendship intact.

"Where are we going?" Tyler asked, looking at Mark.

"Trinity Academy," Mark replied with a smile. And, the group soon met with a staff member from the Competition Committee and boarded the bus to leave for the Academy.

On the other side…

Omen Mansion, Shine Street, Trinity.

"Where is the representative that you speak off?" Omen asked with a frown.

The group from before had yet again gathered here.

The person who was here targeting Max, and the two ladies of the houses sat on the opposite side with a smile on his face. "He will be here soon."

This person was actually listed among Top Tier Assassins in the Dark Society, and was named Red Eye. It was said that he had just watched too many people bleed to death, and it was kind of his trademark as well.

Yes, the pervert sliced people, and let them bleed to death.

But, he had some other identity as well. He was a servant of some guy, who had been plotting to kill people from a far away place.

Omen and the rest of the Elder's initially had agreed to the matter of helping him out. But, it still couldn't ease their worries. In the end, they requested to see the person who was behind all of it.

The Mastermind…

"Sir, a person has come looking for you." A guard appeared by the Omen's side, and whispered to him.

"It seems he is here," The man in front smiled.

"Allow him in," Omen said with a calm look, and soon a person wearing a cloak with a mask entered the room.

And, the moment he took the cloak and mask down, people's eyes widened in shock. They just couldn't believe their eyes. They had trouble believing what they were seeing.

This person was none other than the Second Young Master of Barnes House, Arnold Barnes.

A few of the elder's exchanged a look, and clearly saw the look of horror in their eyes. They didn't know what the Lord and his wife would think if they knew that they had been raising a snake in their house all along.

"I heard you were very eager to meet me. Won't you ask me to have a seat, Sir Omen?" Arnold asked with a smile and it broke Omen out of his daze.

The thing happening in front of his eyes was indeed shocking, but Omen soon returned to his usual state. This would have not been seen as shocking, if it was two generations before. Those times according to his late grandfather were brutal.

But, nowadays, it definitely wasn't like that when one would go to the length of killing one's own parents to achieve their goals. But, he suddenly realized that Arnold was actually the adopted son of the Barnes Lord.

And, that made him laugh at Barnes even more in his mind. The person surely had rotten luck. Omen would surely love to see Ander's face if he ever came to know about this incident.

"Please have a sit," Omen said with a smile, and Omen gladly accepted the offer.

"Are you people satisfied now? I am here right in front of you?" Ander asked with a calm look on his face.

"There shouldn't be any problem now. I hope we have a good time working together," Omen replied.

"I am sure we will. With me here, you don't need to worry. I will bring the prey right to the trap," Arnold said as his eyes flashed with a chilling light.

….

Lorenz Resident, Trinity.

The group which had arrived here had received a warm welcome from Elly's Aunt, Teresa Lorenz.

She was her Elder Aunt, and was the one responsible for handling all the Business around Trinity. After all, the Lorenz had their third largest source of earning from Trintiy after excluding the income from their own territory and the capital.

"I am happy that you girls are all here," Teresa smiled at them as they engaged in a conversation. She had been busy with her work all the time, and didn't have much time to relax. And, now that she finally made herself some time, she was going to go all out with the girl's talk.

Ander had already foreseen the situation, and disappeared somewhere to avoid some awkward situation. He didn't want to be a wheel between them. After all, he had no place between them.

'Where did he go?'

She couldn't sense him around at all.

"Hmmn?" Lesia suddenly noticed that her phone had flashed with a notification. This was the phone she had temporarily got for use from Lora. More like Lora just gave her one after finding that her stuff was stolen.

After all, things like this were needed around in day-to day's life.

Lesia opened the screen lock, and saw that the message was from Arnold.

'I am here, Mother. I am dying to see you after such a long time.'

A smile immediately appeared on Lesia's face. She hoped that her other two sons shared a bit of his enthusiasm.

Well, she had no idea that it was a good thing that they didn't.
