Chapter 574: Rihanna's Confession
"Wait, I am not done yet." Rihanna protested but she was already out of the place and Max wasn't going to pay attention to her. He was still feeling chills all over honestly. Just what were people thinking of him as? A stud horse?
Hell no! He was going to and had signed up for such shits.
"Open the door! I am not done talking! Just listen to me once. I haven't even said what I was here to say!" Rihnna screamed from outside but Max paid no heed to it thinking that she was going to leave soon. But the stubborn girl held onto it for hours.
Max couldn't help but give it to her. For a pampered young lady to have such patience was definitely commendable.
"Open the door! If you don't, I will? not leave this spot until you do so." Rihann screamed and her voice turned hoarse from it.
In the end, Max sighed and opened the door to talk to her."What do you want? Just leave! I don't have anything to give to you….."
"No! I am not here to? ask you for anything now. I am just here to clear Synthia's name." She said with a helpless look on her face.
"Fine but just stay there and speak. No one else is around.'' Max? wasn't going to allow her in after that.
Rihanna sighed before speaking further, "So they asked us about our problems and whether we wanted to have a child or not and so we discussed it a bit and decided to either adapt or get a sperm donor."
She then forced a smile on her face before looking at Max. "It was then that they suggested you. They said that if we could get you to be the sperm donor in the future then they will change their stance towards our relationship."
"They say that you are one of the rarest talents in the current generation and it would be good for the child in the future if we were to…" Rihanna didn't need to spell it further as any smart person could understand it.
Max clearly understood the situation here. These people were forcing these two into this because they wanted to obtain a child with the characteristics of a wielder. The b*stards instead of thinking for the upcoming war were cooking up this kind of sh*t. It seemed there were tumors in the Ancient Families as well.
"I originally was against this idea. Because I thought that you might try to take advantage of us. But Argus insisted that you were not that kind of person and it was worth talking to you at least at once as you might be able to help us either this way or by another."
"Seeing his confidence, Synthia decided to meet you and hence ran a background check on you and nothing came much out of the proportion."
"And when she was about to get out in the morning to meet you after your arrival in Trinity, I tried to stop her. I was really worried about her and doubted your character. I am just like that and I can't help it. I love her a lot after all."
"And when she came back, she was fuming anger saying that you were a perverted man and could definitely not be approached for help.." Rihanna looked at Max with a weird expression on her face.
"What do you mean? I never met her to begin with," Max said with a frown. He really didn't remember meeting Synthia here
"She said even though you already have a fiancee, you were cheating on her with her best friend You were the lowest of the scum present around would definitely take advantage of us." Rihann said with a forced smile on her face.
Max was dumbstruck!
It seemed Synthia had arrived in the morning at the worst possible timing to meet Max and ended up having a misunderstanding about his character. He really didn't know what to do. It seemed his luck just sucked. But whatever had happened, Max still firmly believed that Synthia had gone overboard and what he did to her was still lenient on that account.
As for the fact that his and Lisa's relationship was slowly spreading out, Max couldn't do anything about it. It was already told in the meeting previously in the Association when Max was put on a trial for killing Victor. So, it wasn't a surprise that she digged out the fact.
"But after I saw you in the meeting hall, I knew that Synthia must have had some misunderstanding because your gaze towards us was just that of indifference and not like that of a pervert."
"I am sure that what Synthia did there was all because of me. She felt that in an attempt to get ourselves accepted, I might approach you and then…" Rihanna was really ashamed of whatever had happened.
She didn't knew just what had Synthia seen to cause such a huge misunderstanding like this and put such a heavy allegations on Max. Obviously she had no idea that Synthia didn't have a misunderstanding as whatever she saw was 100% true.
"Fine, you have said what you wanted to. Do not bring this bullsh*t topic anymore. And you are not getting any kind of stuff from me. As for Synthia, no matter what the reason, she had crossed the limit. If she wants forgiveness, let her come to me. I would decide on whether to forgive her or not depending on her apology."
If she wanted to ask for forgiveness, it would be better if she asked for it.
In the end, Rihanna left and the farce finally came to an end.
Max finally found a chance to catch his breath with another headache. The ancient Families still had some of the b*stard who were going to give him trouble and this time they were targeting something he had never imagined.
