Chapter 406: The Newbie is A Troublemaker
The old man looked at Max and then at Andriel. The smile on his face remained.
"I will love to have a talk with you young man. But before, it will be best for you to rest…" the old man said before giving Andriel a look and leaving.
Max closed his eyes. Finally he had time to relax. But suddenly, he opened his eyes and turned her gaze to the person who was clinging to him.
"Stop taking advantage of the situation and back off…."
"Why are you being so shy now? You just made a bold declaration willing to be with me for eternity and take care of me….my love..." Andriel's voice was sweet and the smile on her face was charming.
"I don't remember saying anything like that….now back off…" Max said as he tried to push her back. But the adrenaline rush was gone and he was starting to feel extremely weak and the pain was getting stronger.
As Andriel was having fun tempting Max, she felt a piercing gaze on the back of her head.
"Hmmn?'' She turned her head to see Aria looking at her. Her hand was holding the hilt of her sword while her face had a smile on it.
Andriel's lips curled up into a smile as she looked at Aria. She gave her a meaningful look before turning towards Max.
She then closed in on him and gave him a peck on his cheek.
Aria's face twitched as her smile widened. The grip on the hilt of her sword tightened for some reason. But she couldn't even understand what was going on herself....
Why am I getting angry?
A reason seemed to be within her mind, but she just shook it off....
In the end, she just turned her head away telling herself that she was angry because of their behavior in public...
"Why do I get an old man instead of a beauty?" Mr. Cool sighed looking at Max and Andriel.
"You are not going to push me away today?" Andriel suddenly asked as she licked her lips and gave him a seductive look.
"This suits you better…the Andriel I know.." Max said as he looked at her with a smile.
Andriel looked at Max and her eyes seemed to be fixated on his face which had a gentle smile on it. A moment later she turned her head away and spoke, "I-I want to go back….I didn't finish c-checking on mom…"
Max looked at her fidgeting but didn't ask anything. It was better if she was willing to leave. She wasn't in right mind today, that's for sure.
Max did as she asked and opened a space for her to go back but before going, Andriel turned around and looked at Aria.
A smile appeared on her face as she puffed out her chest and made a bold declaration in front of everyone.
"He is mine….try it if you have got what it takes..…"
And with that, she left.
Aria was dumbfounded by her words. She still couldn't believe her ears.
"You better give up. If you don't even intend to fight…"
Aria turned her head to see her brother looking at her.
"W-What are you talking about?" Aria asked as she fumbled.
"Hmmn? If you can't even admit...then that's good as well. It will be easy to give up…'' He said with a smile before leaving.
Aria looked at him in confusion. She didn't understand what he was getting at or maybe she did....but was not willing to accept....
Bahamut had already fallen asleep nearby. It was way past bedtime for kids after all.
Max shook his head. He didn't expect anything less from Andriel. But, he wouldn't be giving too much attention to her antics….he would just see how things go….
He then closed his eyes with Sera still on his lap.

Two hours later…..
"Why is he not waking up?" Janet asked looking at Mr. Cool.
Lisa didn't know what to do. Elly stood beside her in worry as well.
But at this moment, the guy finally opened his eyes and got up.
Everybody looked at him like he was some kind of flower which has finally bloomed.
"Am I that handsome?" He asked seeing that everyone was starting at him. But before they could reply, he did it himself, "What a foolish thing to ask….of course I am…"
His words immediately made everybody's faces twitch.
"You are Aria's brother, right?" Elly asked.
Even though he was messy and his appearance as Lisa's guard didn't make any sense to him being the Young Lord of Achilles, his silver hairs stood out a bit too much.
Mr. Cool nodded.
"Do you know what happened?"
"Is she fine?"
"Is everything all right?"
The moment he nodded, they started to bombarding him with questions.
"Calm down….everything is fine and she is safe." He said looking at them.
"What about others?" Lisa asked, looking at him.
"Alive…." Mr. Cool didn't mince his words.
But still, Lisa sighed in relief.
"Come with me, we need you for a second…" He said looking at Lisa.
"What about us?" Elly immediately intervened.
He looked at her and forced a smile on his face.
"We are not in the best situation could you wait for a bit…"
"I can help…." Elly said looking at him.
"How?" He asked, looking at her. There was a clear disregard in his eyes. People who couldn't understand the situation really we're annoying.
Well he was more annoying though....but of course he wouldn't admit it....
"There are injured people, right? I can heal them…"
Everyone looked at her.
"Don't joke around…." Mr. Cool said looking at her. Lying was a bit too much.
There was no way she was a healer. If she was, he would have recognised her. After all, there were only a few of them.
Besides, blonde hair and the name Elly. He recognised her after getting that much information.
She was obviously the Lorenz House beauty, the one with wood manipulating variant.
Elly looked at him. She knew that he didn't believe her and hence, walked up to him. The next instant, an emerald glow began to emit out of her hands.
The injuries on Mr. Cool's body began to dry up. The shallow wounds even fell off of his body with an eye catching speed.
She wasn't joking around…..
"E-Elly?" Janet and Lisa looked at her. They were as much as surprised as Mr. Cool was. They had known her for a childhood, just when was this her ability....
"Can you take me along now?" Elly asked, looking at him.
"Sure…." Mr. Cool replied. They already had a few unwanted people inside. One more wouldn't hurt...right? Besides, she was useful….
"Wait! What about me?!' Janet chimed in.
"Who are you?" Mr. Cool asked. He didn't recognize her.
"I am Janet Edwinson…." Janet said a bit depressed. Why was she the only one he didn't know?
"Oh...are you Ca- I mean...Max's sister?" Mr. Cool asked, looking at her.
"Yes…" Janet said a bit more depressed. Why did he know Max and not her?
"I don't mind you then…"? Mr. Cool said with a smile. He had brought his own sister and others too. Max had been giving him an earful.
'Let's see if he still behaved like a Hitler with his own sister inside…' Mr. Cool thought inwardly.
He didn't know about Max's family circumstance and he didn't know that she was his cousin and not actual sister…
To be honest, he actually didn't plan to leave her behind from the start….
How could he leave a beautiful lady all alone? It would be just too cruel for an admirer of beauty like him to see her in distress..
He waved his hands and with that, the three girls disappeared…

Inside the spirit world, a few minutes later...
"Let's kill him…." Bahamit said, picking up his club.
"I agree…" Lear said with a nod.
"Yeah, let's make it four insteasd of five…we don't need a troublemaker..." Max was in agreement as well.
