451 Touring the Place (1)
*Thud!*
The first thing we did after reaching Ember's "skyscraper" was to check our individual rooms. For some reason, I was set on the 10th floor, while the others were still doing rock-paper-scissors to decide who would stay on which floor.
Honestly, isn't it the same whichever floor they stay on? Well, not that I'm planning to douse their enjoyment.
I laid down on the fluffy white bed while wondering what sort of material was used on it. Was it memory foam? It's so soft yet so firm, like I'm being wrapped in Ember's embrace.
The room itself was simple, but the design was closer to the inns back when there were only three in the team: me, Ember, and Fang. It's like the same format, but with upgraded features.
The lamp on the bedside table wasn't using oil, but rather electricity. So she's even started producing bulbs... Well, the moment she could create monitors, it should've been obvious that creating light bulbs was easy.
"What else is in here..."
Curious, although reluctant to leave the soft, fluffy bed, I started going around the room.
The wallpapers were simple but weren't distracting. Being mostly white made it easier to see everything around and added a sense of cleanliness to the surroundings.
The floor was covered with thick, light brown carpet. Not only does it create a proper contrast with the walls, but it's also of a color that wouldn't be too noticeable if it got dirty.
Walking toward the curtains, I flipped them to the sides, letting the light from the outside filter through the thick glass windows, brightening up the dim room. The view from up here, despite only being on the 10th floor, was already amazing!
I can see the entire space, up to the borders of Ember's Kingdom. As expected, it's a little too big compared to the usual God Kingdoms.
"Maybe the size has something to do with the quantity of energy she had during creation? Or possibly, the purity of the energy?"
I mused lightly before shaking my head. I can't confirm my guesses at the moment, so it's useless even if I think about it now. Instead, I turned around and walked toward the door, exiting the room.
The entire tenth floor wasn't just my room, after all.
Leaving my room, the large living room welcomed me. There were many relaxation facilities there, like a sofa set, a television (with only the view of the world being shown), a few pieces of exercise equipment, and such.
There's even a whole shelf filled with various wines and liquors at the far end, with a bar right next to it (unmanned, of course). Continuing forward, I reached the bathroom. It was wide, like a public bathhouse level, with various types of baths available.
From a glance, I saw a simple shower, a bathtub, a large hot spring-like bath in the middle, a sauna, a jacuzzi, and others that I wasn't able to identify by just looking at them. I should try all of them later... preferably not alone.
After that, I went out of the bathroom and into another room. For some reason, it was locked, but looking at the gorgeous design of the door, it must be some recreational room or something. But why the dozens of locks on it...?
"... There's even a spatial lock?!"
That's some over-the-top security for just a single room!
Although curious, it's not to the point of compelling me to destroy the locks just to get a peek. I pushed away the mysterious room from my head and continued my stroll. However, I already saw everything the entire floor had to offer. Should I try going outside?
"(Master, we're done over here. But Fang and Igni requested to tour the place. Does Master want to tag along?)"
Just as I was about to reach the elevator, Ember's words echoed in my head. Well, it's along the way, so just perfect, I guess?
I went straight for the ground floor, where the girls were, while appreciating how many buttons the elevator had. From a rough count, there are at least a hundred... How tall is this skyscraper, Ember?
*TING!*
When I reached the ground floor, as soon as the elevator opened, the girls welcomed me with smiles.
"...?"
But for some reason, all of them were now wearing the same design of clothes, like a uniform... No, it was more like they just wanted to be as comfortable as they could.
Each of them was wearing two pieces of clothing: a white tank top and black hot pants. Minerva and Igni's designs were a little daring, since they have wings on their backs, pulling their tank tops to reveal their underboobs. Rather, they weren't wearing anything underneath?
Yorm was the only one who had a tank top and skirt since her snake-like lower body didn't have legs for pants.
It's nice to see such unity in their attire; furthermore, it's a feast for the eyes. Yep, whoever planned this, I can never be more thankful!
"Master, you're finally here!"
Ember rushed to my side, jogging lightly. However, since she was only wearing a tank top, the things in front of her were bouncing around, making me stare hard at them as if they were beckoning for me.
To my surprise, Ember didn't stop before me but rather went to my side, wrapping her hands around my arms and pressing her body tight against mine. The two soft mounds were clearly touching me, but she didn't seem to mind one bit.
"The first place we'll be heading to is the factory! I'll lead the way~!"
Hearing her joyful tone, I couldn't find it in myself to ask her to let go. I mean, there's no man alive that would refuse to get such heavenly marshmallows against their arms, for sure.
Before we could move, as if to compete, Fina went to my other arm and copied Ember. Hers wasn't losing to Ember's in any way either, making me feel heaven in both arms!
I thought the other girls would also join in, but looking closer, they all had envious gazes but were not even trying to take either of the two's place. Wait, was this the "prize" of their little competition earlier?
