With Zeshion in the middle of the room, acting like a fancy observer, the tension in the air quickly vanished. Vermeil sighed and asked with a frown.

"What are you even doing here, Blue?"

Zeshion quickly turned to her and pointed to himself, saying "Me?" before explaining himself.

"Well, I have matters to discuss with this little man here... So..."

Vermeil snorted before telling Zeshion to get lost in a roundabout manner.

"The Luo family still has things to discuss with him. Come back at a later date."

"Discuss? Is this the atmosphere for a discussion?"

Zeshion tilted his head as he threw a popcorn kernel into his mouth. That popcorn actually looks good; maybe I could get some from him later.

"Sorry, but I can't delay this matter."

Zeshion quickly shook his head, before he smiled and told everyone about a solution.

"How about having a meeting? I'll act as the arbiter to ensure that both sides discuss things peacefully; is that fine?"

Vermeil visibly frowned, but then sighed and reluctantly agreed.

"This isn't a suggestion, right? Alright, alright."

Vermeil stood up from the pool and quickly supported Lady Luo and the fainted Ying Yue off the water. Since Lady Luo was wearing a layered Hanfu dress, it wasn't too noticeable before...

"..."

But now, the dress was wet with water, completely. It clung tightly to her body, tracing her well-defined curves. Her big, round butt jiggled elastically with every step as her thighs shook. Her body was thicker than I expected. Even more than Ember was, I presume.

I looked towards the fainted Ying Yue, who was as flat as a precipice. I sighed a little, wondering how the mother and daughter could be so different from each other.

Priestess Harumi guided the Luo members out of the room and into one of the changing rooms. I, on the other hand, went straight to the meeting room together with God Zeshion and Guren.

As we walked slowly, I spoke to God Zeshion.

"Thank you, God Zeshion, for saving us. If not for your appearance, we may have ended up fighting Goddess Vermeil then and there."

Just thinking about the scene of Vermeil using her favorite wide-area fire spell, [Flames of Purgatory], I can't help but shiver in fear. With just that alone, the entire Seimei bloodline would've been wiped off the surface of the world.

"Don't mind it. I really do have a matter to discuss with you, so let's just forget this favor for now."

"Can I ask what the matter is?"

"... Later. It's not something that can be talked about in open spaces like this."

"..."

Zeshion's expression darkened. I wonder just what it was that he can't speak about here? While thinking about that, we reached the meeting room. The walls that were destroyed by Guren's first uncle were already fixed ages ago.

God Zehsion sat at the head of the table, as he was to be the arbiter of the meeting.

The group from the Seimei consists of me, Guren, the head of financial affairs, Michiru, the head of public affairs, Kanata, and the head of security, Haku. Ember, Fang, and Igni were somewhere behind me, sitting down quietly.

Besides Guren, who was like my advisor, the other three were 8th-stage branch family heads who were often together with me for official business.

Kanata and Haku were both burly men who had a topknot and a thick horseshoe mustache adorning their faces. The two of them sat silently with closed eyes and crossed arms.

Michiru was a middle-aged woman who honestly looked no older than 20. I was surprised to learn of her age later and even shocked to know she already had five children. Her long black hair was parted to the side, hanging over her left shoulder and covering her enormous knockers.

With her neutral smile, anyone else who looked at her would think she was no older than I was. Her dignified figure as she sipped tea gently was enough to steal my attention once in a while.

Soon, about half an hour later, the members of the Luo family entered.

At the front was Goddess Vermeil Raven, who was still wearing her previous clothes. Although she had a red armguard, or knuckle, equipped, I decided to leave it alone. Thinking about why she had that or what purpose she had for wearing it isn't good for my mental health.

Behind her, the head of the Luo family, Luo Meng Yao, entered. She was wearing a different Hanfu, which was the opposite color of her previous light-themed one. This one had darker tones, as if she were attending a wake or a funeral.

Behind her, Wan Li and Wan Er followed, wearing simple white kimonos. Their fluffy tails had nowhere to pop out of, so they were bundled together and peeked out below the hem of the kimono from behind.

With all members complete, God Zeshion quickly spoke.

"Sorry, but I have more urgent matters to pass. Let me go first."

Nobody voiced a complaint, so he continued.

"Will, I have three things that I would like to tell you. The first would be with regards to your parents."

Hearing his words, I tilted my head. So the thing he was talking about earlier was this? It's not such a sensitive topic that we can't talk about it while walking.

His next words took the voice out of my mouth, though, similar to the others within the room.

"You are the son of the illegitimate son of the Seimei's previous head... And the older sister of Luo Meng Yao, the late family head of the Luo family, Luo Meng Ruo."

This meant that Lady Luo was my aunt and that Ying Yue was my cousin. Rather, since I'm the son of the previous head, doesn't that mean I have a higher privilege to be the Luo family head than Lady Luo? It's a bit hard to digest, no matter what.

"How did—!"

When I raised my voice to ask, God Zeshion raised his hand and signaled me to stop.

"Sorry for prying into your personal details, but I had to make sure of your background. It has something to do with my second topic."

God Zeshion's eyes turned sharp, looking straight into my eyes. His blue eyes were full of worry as he did so.

"The Demon tamers seemed to be aiming for you. I can't explain how I know and why this happened, but be careful at all times."
