"I should have less than three days when returning back," he thought while considering the time left for the test of selecting participants in the academy. "At least I need to be in the final team, and it would be great if I have more of my own people there as well."

He decided to go back and start initiating tests while training. He would leave this task to his system, as he was the only capable one between the three to do that.

As for the groaning Gege, she had to learn first how to deal with his needs before asking such overboard claims like the ones she kept blabbering about.

The rest of the day went fast while he managed to breakthrough two more bases. Just as he was trying to use this paradise to hit the fourth base, a sudden rumble occurred outside that brought an end to his training.

"The test is over," the majestic voice seemed not happy about such a result as he just spoke these short words without his usual enthusiastic speech, "The human wins. He got the right to advance his dragonair powers to the next level. He has the right to take charge of the strongest monsters here and act as his inner demons. I hope you can be satisfied with the results of your weaknesses, and I hope you will regain your freedom soon."

The next moment Arthur felt such an expulsion force pushing him far from this world. "Gege, make sure to link yourself to here," Arthur hurriedly said before he was tossed away from this world, returning again to his garden world.

"Gege?" he urgently asked.

"Don't worry, despite loving to hear my name coming from these lips of yours, you don't need to be this stressed. I have already linked here, and I'll start absorbing the world calmly now."

"What about the monsters? The queen?" he asked, as he didn't see anything around.

"They are trapped there," she replied, "they'll need to wait until I finish my absorption completely."

"Damn!" Arthur was angry this time. That mysterious being was obviously biased towards the other side.

Before he could rant over this, he felt a sudden hit to his body coming deeply from inside. The hit wasn't just one, but multiple, and after five minutes he already suffered twenty hits, leaving his body with wounds.

"What the hell happened?" he hurried to take a healing pill before checking his body. "This…" he was startled when he noticed the presence of twenty weird dots inside his body.

Each was like a small glistering orb with different colors and radiance. "What are these?" he just asked and the next moment he felt twenty more hits, this time assaulting his soul.

"Watch out, they are trying to dominate you," the golden dragon suddenly shouted, "hurry and transform into your dragonair form, you can't suppress them with your human body."

Arthur didn't hesitate in following his golden dragon's advice. The next instant he turned into a dragon and suddenly all the assault over his soul stopped.

"What are these?" he asked while taking racing breaths.

"Your inner demons," the golden dragon muttered, "yet they are much stronger and far more than any inner demon I ever heard of." The golden dragon paused for a moment before adding, "even the silver dragons didn't have such berserk demons."

Arthur was familiar with this term, yet it was his first time dealing directly with it. "Isn't my dragonair's path supposed to be void of inner demons?"

"Your path is different I suppose," the golden dragon sighed, "this is an immanent problem that you need to take care of at once. No room for failure here, you need to hurry and crush their wills before causing any more trouble."

"What should I do?" Arthur knew it wasn't safe to play with fire and inner demons. If he didn't solve this problem now, then he would be continuously under their threat.

He didn't want for his soul to be crushed by them and turn into a malidem!

"You need to challenge them one by one, using your pure energy. That's the only way."

"How?" Arthur urged.

"Just circulate your power and try to invade the area they are in. they will retaliate and you should be ready to conquer them."

"I have an opinion," Gege suddenly said.

"What?"

"Use your evolved power instead," she said before adding, "I sensed their powers, they are exactly matching yours. Considering their high number, your attempt will fail."

Arthur hesitated. "But my pearl energy is small, it can't sustain all their energies combined."

"I know, that's why I propose to control it in the middle of your confrontation."

"A surprise attack?" the golden dragon said, "I like this strategy."

"Damn, why have I ended up with so many inner demons?!" Arthur was mad at the moment, yet he had nothing to do but to crush these parasites. "Alright, let's do it. system, bring the news over to Amelia and others. Let them start conducting tests to evaluate and select only the unique ones to come with me later on to the academy."

"Stay away from my body!" Gege bellowed in anger, yet Arthur seriously said:

"This isn't the time to waste on such plays. We need to work together, or else you will be a liability and I won't help you with the second matter."

He had to threaten her, and his words helped in silencing her rants. "Go and inform me with the results of the tests once finished," Arthur said before taking a healing pill as he asked, "is my cultivation energy useful here?"

"It's new on them," the golden dragon amusingly said, as he seemed to enjoy the fiery temper of Gege the most. "It might help, but won't be enough to crush them alone."

"You need the pearl energy, there is no other way around," Gege said in an angry tone yet she didn't rant over her body again.

"I just want to help the pearl energy, it's still weak."

"It's enough," Gege simply said.
