"Hmm…" Lim nodded before receiving the two big glass bottles. The bottles were filled with a pale golden drink with long wisps of redness moving inside like they had a mind of their own. "And you don't recall even how you came here?"

Arthur shook his head in honesty as he wasn't truly lying about this. He aimed to reach his godfather's realm, no this weird world.

"Strange," Lim murmured before taking a sip of the drink and the next moment Arthur saw a glimpse of golden-red light flashing for a second in his dark eyes.

"Anyway let me introduce this world to you… it's the highest of all realms, one that lies above everything and nothing lies above it. Old folks here call it the world of Originals, but for me and others who came from lower realms it's the world where our dreams would come true."

"But some seemed to disagree with you," Arthur glanced at the hidden spot behind the gigantic group of ship masts that took at least one-fifth of the size of the entire deck. It was where some threw themselves off the ship and preferred to face their fate with the clashing waves instead of being here.

"They are just ones who didn't deserve to come here in the first place," Lim casually said before taking another sip of his drink. "To come here, you need to fulfill many conditions. Some thought smart about themselves and decide to ignore this and bribe the gatekeepers to teleport them here… What a mere idiots!"

Arthur nodded before Lim pointed to his drink, "take a sip, it's a waste if you won't touch it."

"Thanks, but what is that drink?" Arthur didn't feel comfortable about that drink. Who would drink something without knowing what it is?

"A tonic," Lim shrugged, "it helps with many things, like the teleportation sickness after you pass through the gate of the realms."

Arthur nodded in understanding, grabbed his glass but only kept rotating the long stick in the shape of a spear inside the drink.

"What about the alliance and pirates?"

"We are in the gate place," Lim took another sip and never cared again about Arthur's drink, "in fact there are an enormous number of similar places out there. They all share one thing in common; they contained the gate to realms over a big sea."

"Like this one?" Arthur glanced around before adding, "but that means we came here and fell directly into the water, right?"

"Then why do you think you are almost naked? Without any gears, rings, or any ornaments of any kind?" Lim laughed, "the water of these seas are quite corrosive, yet it does not affect our bodies."

"I see," Arthur nodded before pointing to him, "but you have clothes on you as well as many others."

"That's because I prepared corrosive-resistant clothes before coming here," Lim laughed as if he was delighted by such a question, "to survive here, you must use this before doing anything," he pointed towards his head while winking to Arthur.

"Then what about the alliance and pirate thing?"

"They are the local forces who are responsible for snatching us and dealing with us later," Lim said before sighing, "it's a blessing for me we ended up in the alliance ship. If I was in a pirate one then my future would be ruined."

"We have no control over this?" Arthur was speechless for a moment there before asking what he was thinking of.

"No, we all end up here unconscious," Lim said like it was a known fact, "pirates hate those legit travellers, unlike the alliance who despises the illegal ones."

"Ah, I see," Arthur nodded as he finally understood what just happened minutes ago, "and you are a legit one, right?"

"Sure," Lim pumped out his chest before adding, "I'm legit and I'll be one of the big shots in one of the big clans here."

"What's the meaning of being legit?" Arthur asked in a loss.

Yet just before Lim could speak once again there was a sudden emergence of a group of heavily armed men. Arthur could feel the sweat dripping down his brows as his heart started to beat erratically.

'Why would these men need weapons? Did people here still have their powers?' Arthur thought as the questions swirled around his head while he was feeling more worried about the loss of his powers.

He tried to gather up any power since awakening, yet he couldn't feel any spiritual energy, muster up his dragonair power, or even feel his golden pearl's energy at all.

"We are getting closer to the base soon?" Lim suddenly muttered before hurriedly galloping what was left in his bottle. He whispered in an urgent tone, "if they ask, don't tell them you can't remember; just say you are a system holder."

And Arthur felt puzzled once again, as he didn't get what Lim meant and he didn't have time to ask anything or get more answers.

"Line up newcomers."

The leader of the heavily armed men with an enormous body shouted towards everyone on board. "We aren't here to run around after you and wipe your asses. Start lining up this instant, we are already getting closer to our base."

Arthur hurried after Lim who stressed over not speaking a single word to anyone no matter what before standing in a long line that stretched from one end of the ship to another.

"All those were here?" Arthur was inwardly surprised by the huge number of people who appeared after the captain shouts. "I never thought there were so many here."

He glanced around and roughly the number of those on the ship was approximating five hundred if not more, arranged in dozens of lines along the entire length of the ship.

'System… are you there?' for the first time he tried to contact his system, and strangely instead of the normal ding, he received only silence.

The system was an old friend of his, one of his oldest gains when he was transmigrated. Every time he called, the wise system would answer except for this time. And that made Arthur more worried and much puzzled about everything here.

And yet he didn't lose hope at all…

He kept asking his system and got no response until the ship reached a great shore. There was already a large port there with many ships similar to this one he was boarding or even bigger.

"Listen up," once the ship stopped moving the captain shouted for the first time after gathering everyone, "here is the base of the Lindar sacred kingdom. We don't tolerate any wrongdoers or liars. So please save yourself any embarrassment and those illegal ones should step to that side and remain there for further instructions."
