Losing even a hundred of them in this war was an acceptable loss for him. In fact Arthur put a higher number for the total casualties in this war; one thousand cities.

If he managed to get out of this war with less than that number, then he would consider himself lucky. So in his eyes, losing dozens of cities early on in this war wasn't something worthy of his attention, rather his panic.

More devastation was destined to happen, especially when he had the impression that this wasn't the total power of his enemies.

This was just the opening move of this war.

'Don't move everyone,' he warned, 'I believe more portals will open after you deploy the armies.'

'What? More?!!' Gege panicked again but this time she controlled herself without the need of others to intervene. 'Ok, I planned to move everyone and show those bastards the might of our empire. I'll only move one army each to face one portal and leave the rest scattered around and ready to be deployed at any given notice.'

'Good girl,' Arthur wasn't trying to just support her, he was expressing his sincere thoughts. This arrangement was really good, enough to sustain and contain the situation in his empire world.

As he finished doing that, he resumed his struggle against the green fire. This time he didn't wait for his energy to regain its peak strength.

When the energy exceeded seventy percent, he would act and send another person outside. One more powerhouse thrown in this mess would determine the outcome of this war, without any exaggeration.

But gradually he started to gain a new insight. 'If I wanted to really win this war, then the sooner I get out of here the better,' he muttered to himself while thinking about this prison world.

From what he noticed so far, each time he sent someone outside the intensity of the green fire attacking him escalated. This might seem pointless at some point, but in his mind nothing was without a price to pay.

The sudden intervention of that hidden enemy here in this prison world proved that to him. If it was this easy, then that person would have intervened and crushed any portal Gege summoned.

After all, to move anyone back, Gege had to summon her portal first in this prison world. But that person didn't intervene except when Arthur tried to get back himself.

What did that imply? The green fire consumption was already too high to begin with.

If such actions were without a price to pay, then that person should have intervened a long time ago. Being selective about when to show such domineering power proved that this power was limited.

The more tornado attacks landed upon Arthur, the higher the consumption rate would be. That made Arthur wanting to get out all his forces faster and in a shorter duration, not only pressuring himself in such a way but also putting more pressure over his enemies.

Any energy has the ability to replenish itself. Arthur didn't believe that the green fire didn't have a way to do so as well. But what if he didn't give it time to heal?

If the consumption rate was high, and he didn't give it a chance to recharge, then gradually the green fire around would be consumed.

The green fire came from the green mist covering up the world above his head. When he sent out the troops to test the two lands, each team he sent screamed in agony the moment they touched that green mist.

In his eyes, he spotted massive currents of green fire assaulting his men. So he refrained from sending more for now.

As for the grayish land below, the troops went there for a long time without relaying any news back. Arthur felt some sort of distortion occurring to the troops that went there.

That meant that place was a bit safe, but it wasn't the target he came for. If his guess was correct, then that grayish world might be separated from the above green world by a shield or even it would be another world apart from the green world.

And it was impossible for the prison to be there. If so, then his enemies would be dumb, and he would be dumber to even believe so.

As he reached this conclusion, he focused his efforts at mainly consuming the green fire. He tried to even cultivate or absorb this fire like what he did before.

This green fire was considered a tonic to his dragonair energy. However when he tried to repeat that feat, he failed. It seemed like this green fire had something that intervened with his ability to utilize it.

That wasn't a surprise. After all, his enemies knew a lot about his abilities.

So his only way at the moment was to continue consuming the green fire using that tornado. The technique of his could continue as long as his energy persisted.

But what was astonishing was the fact that the tornado would last for an entire hour for each time it was triggered. Even if it didn't cause any damage to him, the tornado kept hammering down over his shield.

Arthur knew this was a way to replenish the green fire, the more reasons for him to consume more of this fire before the last person here would be sent back.

One thousand people wasn't a small number to be sent back. It took him days to fulfill that.

During that time, the war in the outside world was getting heated up.

The first clashes between his armies and the enemy proved his worries to be right. The enemy brought a massive number of troops led by a lot of elite ranks and not a small number of grandmasters.

Facing such a terrifying line up, Doaf and others couldn't handle the situation on their own. However they were enough to stop the advancement of the enemy to some point.

The next reinforcements that appeared made up the difference in strength. Led by originals, follow up armies moved to support the seven ongoing hot spots in this war.

Each army of these didn't only have a large number of troops, but also a large number of powerhouses strong enough to contend and contain the grandmaster level opponents.

As for the elites, their fate was always death if faced with these forces of Arthur.
