For a moment, Leo was shocked and soon he became excited about it as he was looking forward to it.
Despite not getting any instant rewards, Leo was satisfied because he was completely confident about completing the [Ascending Mission].

Even though he was unable to get his hands on the Special God Stone, Leo had completed the reason why he came. So, he moved on to the next thing and asked Shadowmorph about the beasts in the Beast Sanctuary while checking his [Ascending Mission's] progress.
