With the appearance of Leo's pets, especially, the Golden Armoured Giant Thunder Bear, the tides of the fight had completely changed.
The Giant Thunder Bear has good attack power and a terrifying defence.
As for his silver-grade pets, they have good compatibility with each other as the Nightmare Butterfly puts them to sleep before draining their essences followed by the other pets that use all their attacks on the sleeping beasts who already lost their essences.
In less than 10 minutes, except for the masked man and his three Gold Grade Contracted Beasts, the other masked men along with their 15 contracted beasts were successfully killed.
"Th…that brat….why does his luck in the Beast Essence Orbs and the Tamer Essence Orbs so high?"
Compared to the devastating defeat, the leader of the masked men was shocked to see so many essence orbs belonging to both beasts and the beast tamers.
"..."
Uncle Grey also had the same question; however, he knew it was not the time to ask Leo about it.
Moreover, he had to kill the leader of the masked men so that he could not reveal Leo's speciality to others.
'If they find out that the tamers killed by Leo could leave behind their Tamer Essence Orbs and his pets who were not contracted also had a similar ability, it would cause a huge commotion and everyone would start causing trouble for my Stormrider Family.'
With that thought in mind, Uncle Grey became very serious and decided to kill the leader of the masked men at any cost.
'Everyone, focus on a single contracted beast and kill it.'
Suddenly, Uncle Grey changed his strategy and silently communicated with his contracted beasts to attack the weakest beast among the three Gold Grade Beasts of the leader of the masked men.
Even though there was some risk in letting all his contracted beasts target a single contracted beast, Uncle Grey was ready to take it while keeping up his guard.
'Roar'
'Hiss'
'Screech'
Using the opportunity when the leader of the masked men was in shock due to some unique ability belonging to Leo, Uncle Grey's three contracted beasts ganged up on the weakest gold-grade beast and killed it in less than five moves.
'Cough'
The leader of the masked men coughed up a mouthful of blood due to the backlash from losing his contracted beasts.
However, Uncle Grey didn't give any time as he continued to kill the remaining two gold-grade contracted beasts belonging to the leader of the masked men.
"It's time for you to die."
'Puchi'
After killing the three contracted beasts, Uncle Grey didn't hesitate to pierce his sword into the heart of the leader.
"Your Stormrider Family might have received the Heaven's blessing."
These were the last words that came from the mouth of the leader of the masked men as he fell to the ground.
'Swoosh'
Soon, his body turned into tiny particles, leaving a Gold Grade Tamer Essence Orb.
However, from the three beasts killed by Uncle Grey's contracted beasts only a single beast was left, a Gold Grade Beast Essence Orb.
'If it was before, I would have been over the moon to receive one Gold Grade Beast Essence Orb and one Gold Grade Tamer Essence Orb; however, now….'
Looking at Leo in the distance, Uncle Grey had mixed emotions as he walked towards Leo and asked, "Are you okay?"
"I am completely fine, Uncle Grey but you don't seem fine."
Compared to Leo, Uncle Grey's body was completely covered in injuries and he had also lost so much blood, making his face look pale.
"It's alright! Let's rest for some time here before going back to the family."
Whether it's Uncle Grey or the Storm Eagle, both of them didn't have enough strength to move their body.
Hence, Uncle Grey decided to take some rest before moving and at the same time, he thought he could ask Leo about some things.
"Leo, the essence orbs you gave me last time…did you receive them after killing the masked assassin and his contracted beasts?"
Uncle Grey slowly asked a question which suppressed his mixed emotions.
"Yes, Uncle. Originally, there was a bronze-grade Beast Essence Orb; however, my Dream absorbed it back when it was still a bronze-grade beast."
Leo explained in detail, making Uncle Grey's heart pound with excitement.
"Also, every time you or any of your pets kills a beast tamer or a contracted beast, they would leave the essence orbs, right?"
Uncle Grey still suppressed his emotions as he asked another question to Leo, to which Leo nodded his head in reply.
Even though he and the leader of the masked men already noticed Leo's ability, Uncle Grey was able to confirm it and became excited.
"Leo, you are really Heaven's Son."
"What? What are you saying, Uncle Grey? Heaven's Son?"
Leo was a little confused with Uncle Grey's words and asked about it.
"Do you think it is the same for everyone?"
Seeing the confused look on Leo's face, Uncle Grey started explaining, "Let's take me as an example. My three contracted beasts killed three other contracted beasts; however, one of the dead contracted beasts left its essence orb whereas the other two contracted beasts didn't."
"It completely depends on one's luck and since you are able to get an essence orb every time you kill a contracted beast or a beast tamer, you have the heaven's blessing and thus, you are called Heaven's Son."
"What?"
It was completely out of Leo's expectations as he never thought much about it because he always believed that it was the same for everyone.
"No wonder the beast essence orbs in the family treasure room are sold out the moment they appear."
Finally, Leo understood the reason why there was such a huge queue in getting the beast essence orbs or tamer essence orbs.
'It looks like I have another hidden ability that even I didn't know about until now.'
Even though it took time to realize Leo that he had a passive talent, he was happy to learn about it even before the [Awakening Ceremony].
