Of course, it didn't turn black completely as it only flashed between black and white for the entire process of absorbing the Essence of the Nightmares.
It took more than 10 minutes for the Dream Butterfly to completely absorb the Essence of the Nightmares which turned into nothingness afterwards.
"Now, wrap yourself with the shadow silk along with the shadow lily."
Soon, the Dream Butterfly picked the shadow lily and entered into Shadow Silk.
'Swiish'
As soon as it entered into the Shadow Silk, the silk thread wrapped around the Dream Butterfly and the Shadow Lily tightly, making Uncle Grey frown for a moment.
However, when he saw how calm Leo was, Uncle Grey muttered, 'Is everything going according to his plans?'
Nevertheless, he didn't ask anything and continued to observe both Leo and the Dream Butterfly that was tightly wrapped in the Shadow Silk.
"Now, it is the final step for evolution."
Leo's face turned serious as he slowly placed his hand on the cocoon and started injecting God Energy slowly one unit at a time.
If he injected 100 units of God Energy at once, the silk cocoon would explode. Hence, Leo was being careful with the injection of the energy.
'Swoosh'
The moment the cocoon started absorbing God Energy, it started glowing with a bright black-coloured light.
Time continued to pass as Leo slowly injected one unit of God Energy after another for the next 10 minutes and successfully injected 100 units of God Energy.
'With that, my God Space is successfully empty.'
Leo had a bitter smile on his face when he thought about his God Space; however, when he looked at the black cocoon that became as big as a football after absorbing God Energy, Leo felt a little better.
'As long as evolution is successful, I don't mind spending 100 units of God Energy.'
Leo really wanted to see the Nightmare Butterfly coming out of the cocoon, only that can remove the bitterness in his heart.
Time continued to pass and Leo and Uncle Grey sat in the room for nearly one hour; however, there were no movements or whatsoever from the cocoon.
"Leo, I can sense the signs of high-level beasts inside the cocoon; however, I think it will take some time to come out of the cocoon. So, don't worry."
In the beginning, Uncle Grey just wanted Leo to learn from his first failure; however, after sensing the life inside the cocoon, he was sure that the evolution was successful.
The only step that was left was for the Nightmare Butterfly to come out of the cocoon.
Uncle Grey was filled with mixed emotions as he didn't know how to express them; however, he was worried that Leo might think he failed the evolution process.
Hence, he asked Leo not to worry about it and the evolution process was a success.
'Kacha'
Just as Uncle Grey said those words, there was a crisp sound in the room as one of the butterfly's legs poked the cocoon with its leg.
"Uncle, it's coming out."
On the other hand, Leo knew that it would take an hour or so for the Nightmare Butterfly to come out of the cocoon as long as the evolution was a success.
Hence, when he saw the black-coloured butterfly coming out of the cocoon, Leo became excited.
'Kacha'
After making a hole in the silk cocoon, it didn't take much time for the beast inside it to make it bigger before coming out.
'Swoosh'
The butterfly that came out was completely opposite to the Dream Butterfly.
The Nightmare Butterfly is larger than the Dream Butterfly, with a wingspan that can reach up to a foot in length. Its wings are an ethereal blend of deep purples, midnight blues, and velvety blacks.
The delicate, translucent wings are adorned with shimmering patterns that seem to shift and change as light reflects upon them. The edges of its wings are lined with intricate, iridescent patterns that resemble delicate lace, giving it an enchanting and otherworldly appearance.

Uncle Grey had already believed that the evolution process was successful; however, he didn't expect it would be a Nightmare Butterfly because it was one of the ancient beasts that were extinct long back.
And now, Leo evolved such a butterfly at the age of only nine.
