The masked assassin struggled to stand on his feet as he looked at Leo with his bloodshot eyes, which was scary for even the older people.
However, Leo was not the type to get scared by such things as he had experienced much worse than the bloodshot eyes of the assassin.

Even after receiving the backlash from losing his contracted beasts, the masked assassin was more powerful than Leo as he furiously kicked Leo.

However, Leo could guess that the assassin would be kicking him so he quickly dodged it.

Nevertheless, in the next second, the assassin moved like a ghost and threw a punch at Leo, making him collide with the wall.

Leo coughed a mouthful of blood and at the same time, he felt a couple of his ribs were broken from the assassin's earlier punch.
"Do you think you survived that punch due to luck? No…it's because I don't want you to die so soon."
The assassin wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and slowly walked towards Leo
"Because of you, I have lost all my contracted beasts. Do you think I would kill you that easily?"
The masked assassin scoffed at Leo who struggled to stand up as he continued, "I will make you beg me…beg me to kill you."
For a Beast Tamer, his contracted beasts were his family, assets and everything. Now, the masked assassin had lost his three contracted beasts that he got from the Beast Sanctuary.
Even if he kills Leo and returns, the rewards from killing Leo were incomparable to the losses he suffered during the mission.
"Shall we begin the torture now?"
Just thinking about his losses made the masked assassin's blood boil as he decided to vent his anger on Leo by torturing him with his dagger.

Leo's voice was weak; however, he was not afraid or anxious regarding the masked assassin anymore because he just made sure of something that could kill the masked assassin.

Even though Leo was barely standing, the masked assassin didn't notice any fear in Leo's eyes and the way he spoke, making the assassin think something was off.
"Dragon Soul, kill him."
With a slight smile on his face, Leo said those words.

In the next second, the dragon soul that disappeared earlier appeared once again and roared at the masked assassin with great excitement.
"How is that possible? Didn't you just exhaust it? How can you summon it already?"
The attack-type effects of an item would definitely have some cooldown. Hence, when the masked assassin saw that Leo summoned the same dragon soul from before, he was shocked and his legs lost his power as he unconsciously fell to his knees.
"You are going to die without an answer to that question."
Unlike the masked assassin, Leo didn't want to waste his time in torturing his enemy as he swiftly ordered the dragon soul to injure him more.
As for the last blow, Leo himself kills the masked assassin with the same dagger that the assassin brought with him.

After killing the assassin, Leo felt a familiar energy enter his body.

Leo was both shocked and excited at that thought and hurriedly checked his God Space.
