Chapter 136 A New Hero or a Villain?

Time swiftly passed, and the sun shifted from noon to morning, marking the passage of a day.

Inside a room within the Wudang sect, Ling Han stood, his gaze fixed on the unconscious figure of Long Tian lying on the bed.

It had been a full day since Long Tian suddenly collapsed, unconscious.

The door unexpectedly creaked open, and two figures entered—Shi Huang and an elderly man named Chu Zhou.

"Is Long Tian still not awake?" Shi Huang inquired, concern etched on his face.

"No, there's been no sign of him stirring," Ling Han replied, shaking his head.

Shi Huang nodded thoughtfully, then turning his attention to Chu Zhou. "Elder Chu, your healing expertise might prove beneficial here," he suggested.

"Let me see," Chu Zhou said, approaching Long Tian's bedside.

With a practiced touch, Chu Zhou checked Long Tian's pulse and dantian. He had just returned from a mission with his disciple and had been summoned by Shi Huang to check Long Tian's condition.

A gentle, green light emanated from his palm, enveloping Long Tian's body.

After a brief pause, Chu Zhou withdrew his hand, his expression a mix of surprise and puzzlement.

He glanced at Shi Huang, seeking clarification. "Sect Master, you mentioned that he was attacked while meditating in the soul hall, correct?"

"Yes," Shi Huang affirmed.

"Well, this is a fascinating case. If it were an ordinary person, such an attack would shatter their cultivation base, reducing them to an average human. However, Long Tian is extraordinary; his dantian is unlike any typical dantian. It's more akin to... Stardust, Mist, or perhaps Clouds... I cannot precisely discern, but it certainly does not resemble a dantian belonging to an ordinary human," Chu Zhou explained, his tone laden with intrigue.

Shi Huang raised an eyebrow, his curiosity piqued. However, Ling Han interjected before he could respond. "So, you mean Young Master Long is in good health?" Ling Han inquired, seeking reassurance.

"Yes, he's physically unharmed. He remains unconscious for now, but he should regain consciousness later today," Chu Zhou confirmed.

Ling Han breathed a sigh of relief, his tension dissipating. While he had confidence in Long Tian's resilience, hearing it from an expert provided an added sense of relief. It seemed the Thousand Stars method Long Tian practiced had indeed bestowed numerous benefits upon him.

"Very well, I believe we should leave him to rest," Shi Huang suggested, a note of finality in his voice.

Ling Han and Chu Zhou nodded in agreement.

With that decision made, they made their way out of the room. However, Ling Han suddenly halted. "Wait," he said, his eyes narrowing in thought.

Both Shi Huang and Chu Zhou paused, their gazes fixed on Ling Han, curiosity gleaming in their eyes.

Ling Han pivoted and retraced his steps, approaching Long Tian once more.

He observed Long Tian's hand twitching. Witnessing this, Shi Huang and Chu Zhou swiftly approached.

"I believe he's about to awaken," Ling Han said.

Chu Zhou and Shi Huang fixed their attention on Long Tian, anticipation etched on their faces.

A few moments later, Long Tian's eyes flickered open, taking in the sight of three figures standing before him.

"Young Master, you've finally awake," Ling Han greeted him, his voice laced with relief.

Long Tian leaned against the wall, his voice soft yet composed. "How long was I unconscious, Uncle Ling?" he inquired, seeking clarity.

"A mere day. Fortunately, it's welcome news, Young Master. You're perfectly fine; there's no cause for concern," Ling Han assured him, his relief evident.

Long Tian nodded in understanding. He vividly recalled the audacious attack by Qin Chen just as he was on the verge of a significant breakthrough in the soul hall.

Thankfully, his dantian had transformed into a galaxy. Without this, his cultivation base would have been shattered entirely.

"I'm relieved you're awake, Long Tian. Regrettably, Qin Chen still hasn't been found, but he's become a wanted man in the empire," Shi Huang said.

Long Tian nodded thoughtfully. With Qin Chen now a wanted man, Han Yuan was dead, and Li Yue'er in his arms, it signified the impending downfall of Qin Chen.

It made him curious about what would happen if he successfully killed Qin Chen.

But there might be another protagonist since he had encountered one before, Ye Chen.

If such a protagonist indeed existed, he couldn't help but wonder whether they possessed a system. If he managed to defeat them, would he gain a system of his own?

However, Long Tian shook his head, dispelling these musings. For now, he needed to focus on the present.

His gaze shifted to Shi Huang. "Master Shi, I was assaulted by your disciple in the soul hall, and my business there remains unfinished. May I return?" he inquired.

Shi Huang nodded understandingly. "I've discussed this matter with Long Xuan. As compensation, I grant you a full day within the soul hall," he said.

Long Tian's lips curved into a smile. "Thank you, Master Shi," he said with genuine appreciation.

Shi Huang waved it off. "It's my fault for putting my trust so easily in Qin Chen. I thought he would be a great man, but he turned out to be a major problem," he admitted, his expression regretful.

"Well, Master Shi, we all make mistakes. However, next time, I encourage you to adopt a more objective perspective," Long Tian advised sagely.

"I will," Shi Huang affirmed.

They engaged in conversation for a while longer before finally taking their leave. Long Tian's condition had significantly improved, and he wasted no time heading back to the soul hall.

Meanwhile, In the city of Shanghai, inside a high school classroom...

A sudden jolt woke a student, his eyes wide with a mix of astonishment and confusion.

Glancing around, his bewilderment deepened.

"What the hell? Where am I?" he muttered under his breath.

His brows furrowed as he realized he was inside a classroom. But his disbelief peaked when he recognized the familiar layout.

"This place... This is my classroom? How can that be?!" he exclaimed, utterly incredulous.

His heart raced, grappling with the implausible possibility.

Swiftly, he stood up and hurried to the nearest bathroom.

Upon reaching the mirror, he stared, his eyes reflecting disbelief as he beheld the youthful face staring back at him.

"I... Have I been reborn?!"

---------------

A white light soared high inside the soul hall. Nevertheless, nobody paid attention to it, as there was only one person in this place, Long Tian.

Long Tian stood, his body enveloped in a Crimson aura, accompanied by a strong pressure.

A triumphant grin curved his lips as he surveyed his progress within the depths of his consciousness. By now, he had unlocked the potential of the gift bestowed upon him by the dragon woman.

The heavenly dragon bloodline! It was the gift from the dragon woman that he had fully acquired.

A crimson dragon head was engraved on his forehead, accompanied by tattoos on both his arms that looked increasingly fierce.

"It seems fitting to test these newfound powers," Long Tian mused, his grin widening.

With a purposeful gesture, he extended his arms, and the tattoos transformed into two magnificent dragons.

The dragons' appearance underwent a transformation; they now sported horns and whiskers on their heads, their scales gleaming brilliantly while their claws were ablaze with fire.

Long Tian observed the dragons' dance with satisfaction, recognizing their transformation mirrored his own. He had advanced to a stage where he could transform into a half-dragon.

After a brief moment, the two dragons gracefully returned, merging back into the tattoos on his arms.

"What a beautiful day. There's little to be accomplished here; it's time to return to the villa," he declared.

With that decision made, he exited the soul hall, his aura exuding newfound power and confidence.

-------------

Ling Han gripped the steering wheel, with Long Tian seated by his side.

Long Tian, in a surprisingly good mood, opened his smartphone and browsed through social media.

His curiosity was piqued when he stumbled upon a post featuring a video clip.

The video portrayed a rampant soul beast attack in Tianhai, where thousands of creatures besieged the city.

"Ohh, Uncle Ling, take a look at this. I believe that location isn't too far from here. What do you say we pay a visit?" Long Tian suggested, showing the video to Ling Han.

Watching the chaotic scene, Ling Han's brow furrowed. "Another one? There was a Rampage in Tianzhou just yesterday," he stated.

Long Tian raised an eyebrow, "Yesterday? When I was still unconscious?" he asked, seeking confirmation.

"Yes, and it wasn't limited to Tianzhou alone. Several cities faced simultaneous Rampages. The soul beasts involved were unusually powerful," Ling Han explained.

Long Tian's interest was piqued. "Then let's go there, Uncle Ling," he declared, a confident grin playing on his lips.

"Are you sure, young master?" Ling Han inquired cautiously.

"Absolutely. I also want to put my newfound powers from the soul hall to the test," Long Tian replied, his grin widening.

Nodding in agreement, Ling Han stepped on the gas pedal, propelling the car swiftly toward the location of the Rampage.
