Chapter 125 Li Yue'er Vs Liu Qian

"Let's move on to the next students. Li Yue'er versus Liu Qian, please step onto the arena now," Xiao Zhu announced.

Hearing this, Long Tian was surprised. Li Yue'er versus Liu Qian – he hadn't expected Xiao Zhu to choose the two of them.

"It's my turn," Li Yue'er declared.

"Good luck," Long Tian said, offering her a supportive smile.

Li Yue'er nodded, flashed a smile, and confidently made her way toward the arena.

Both Li Yue'er and Liu Qian entered the arena, capturing the attention of many students.

"Oh my God, those are the goddesses of our school."

"Darn, they're stunning. And they're about to battle it out in the arena? Hey, this is a must-see!"

"Forget about training, watching two goddesses fight is much more interesting."

Many people were talking about the spar between Li Yue'er and Liu Qian; more and more people approached the arena to watch, including Long Tian.

The chatter about the upcoming spar between Li Yue'er and Liu Qian grew louder; an increasing number of people approached the arena to witness the match, including Long Tian.

Li Yue'er and Liu Qian stepped into the arena. Liu Qian appeared nonchalant, even though she had her sights set on Li Yue'er.

The person standing before her was Long Tian's woman; she was certainly aware of her. Li Yue'er, the student council president, excelling in academics but rumored to lack talent in cultivation and martial arts.

A woman like her, while beautiful, amounted to nothing without cultivation prowess. In this world, strength reigned supreme.

Li Yue'er, on the other hand, was quite intrigued by the arena's mechanism. The moment she set foot inside, her cultivation base vanished completely.

"Alright, assume your fighting stances. The rules remain the same: a 10-minute time limit, no constraints on the use of any martial arts, and stepping out of the arena signifies defeat. Clear?" Xiao Zhu stated, fixing his gaze on Li Yue'er and Liu Qian.

Both nodded in understanding, and with that, they assumed their positions, ready to engage.

"And... Begin!" Xiao Zhu declared.

Li Yue'er and Liu Qian's eyes met, each brimming with strong desire to emerge victorious.

Liu Qian initiated the assault with a forward punch, yet Li Yue'er dodged it and immediately countered by grabbing her arm, lifting it up, intending to slam her down.

However, Liu Qian adeptly adjusted her position, landing gracefully and stepping back a few paces.

"You're quite strong, aren't you?" she remarked.

"If you underestimate me, you might end up defeated," Li Yue'er replied, her tone brimming with confidence.

"Well, thanks for showcasing your skills," Liu Qian said.

In the next instant, she launched another attack, unleashing a flurry of punches at Li Yue'er. Yet, Li Yue'er skillfully dodged and blocked every single strike.

Their duel raged on, leaving the spectators enthralled by their exceptional skills.

---

After several minutes had elapsed, there was no indication of defeat from either of them. Liu Qian relentlessly bombarded Li Yue'er with her sharp, unconventional attacks.

Her techniques were a blend of MMA and boxing, influenced by her mother's background from the Roman Empire. On the other hand, Li Yue'er, armed with an array of martial arts techniques and honed through rigorous training with Long Tian, skillfully countered Liu Qian's onslaught.

Every move they executed was precise and unpredictable, leaving the spectators in awe. They found it hard to believe that such skilled maneuvers were being performed by two young girls.

In a critical moment, Li Yue'er lost her balance, and Liu Qian seized the opportunity to strike her with her palm.

However, before the blow could land, a long whistle pierced the air, bringing their intense duel to a halt.

"10 minutes have passed, and the time is up. It's a draw," Xiao Zhu announced.

Applause and cheers erupted from the crowd, acknowledging the impressive display of skill from both competitors.

Liu Qian didn't utter a word and promptly stepped down from the arena, followed by Li Yue'er.

A crowd quickly formed around Li Yue'er and Liu Qian, offering words of encouragement and engaging in light conversation.

Liu Qian attracted the most attention, especially after Li Yue'er walked over to Long Tian; no one dared to approach them.

"You did a great job," Long Tian complimented, a warm smile gracing his face.

"Thanks, but I had some difficulty. Liu Qian's techniques are strong," Li Yue'er admitted.

"Well, both of you displayed impressive skills. I'm relieved it ended in a tie. You see, Liu Qian possesses an S-Class martial spirit, and you managed to hold your ground against her. That's quite remarkable," Long Tian praised.

Li Yue'er responded with a smile.

They continued chatting for a while before returning to their training, while the arena buzzed with activity as other students took their turns.

---

Time flew by, and the school bell chimed, marking the conclusion of the school day.

Long Tian and Li Yue'er sat in the car, heading towards the villa.

"Is there anywhere else you'd like to go before we reach my villa?" Long Tian inquired.

"No, I think we'd better go straight to the villa," Li Yue'er replied.

"Okay," Long Tian nodded, and with that, he pressed down on the gas pedal, driving swiftly towards the villa.

---

After more than 10 minutes, they arrived at the villa area, passed through the gate, and parked in the front yard. Both of them stepped out of the car. Long Tian, however, noticed another familiar vehicle parked nearby.

"It seems we have company," Li Yue'er remarked.

"This car... it belongs to my father," Long Tian stated.

"Your father? I've never met him in person; I'm curious about what he's like," Li Yue'er said.

"Well, let's head inside," Long Tian suggested.

Li Yue'er nodded, and together, they entered the villa.

To their surprise, Long Zhan was not there. Instead, they were greeted by Long Shan, who immediately stood up upon seeing them. "Ah, Long Tian, you're finally back. And you've brought a lady friend, I see," he teased.

Long Tian raised an eyebrow, his curiosity piqued. "Where's my father?" he inquired.

"You probably noticed the car. I drove it here because your father is engaged in a crucial meeting with the imperial authorities. However, I am here following his instructions, and I have something to give you," Long Shan replied.

"Oh, what is it?" Long Tian asked, his tone filled with curiosity.

Long Shan handed a spatial ring to Long Tian. "What you desire is within. The Seven-Form Pagoda," he stated.

Long Tian accepted the ring.

"It originally belonged to the Supreme Elder of the Ning family. I heard they were livid about how your father obtained it. Naturally, they dared not confront us, given our standing as the strongest among the ancient families," Long Shan said, his grin showcasing his pride and confidence.

Long Tian nodded in acknowledgment.

"Well, thank you, Uncle Shan," he said.

"Very well, I shall take my leave now," Long Shan said.

Long Tian nodded, and with that, he retreated to his car, leaving the villa area.

Long Tian, still standing, stared at the ring in his hand. The Seven-Form Pagoda, a unique item, was finally in his possession.

Its true purpose remained a mystery. However, he knew one thing for sure – with this item, he could take someone's martial spirit.
