Two Hunting Units were standing opposite each other, sparks zapping from one direction to the other.

"How about you just surrender? That way, you can save at least a little bit of your honor!" A green-haired cadet said, his loud voice resounding through the training area.

A blond-haired woman laughed lightly as she tugged the green-haired cadet's arm, pressing herself against him.

"Darling, do you really think that these primates understand what you're talking about? Let's just beat them up, get their points and watch their suffering!"

The blond-haired woman continued to laugh, covering her mouth with one hand while holding the green-haired cadet's arm tightly.

Others joined their teasing, including many cadets who had gathered around the two Hunting Units.

The Hunting Unit that was led by the green-haired cadet was liked a lot. They were not the strongest which could be seen in their ranking at the 340th spot, but their socializing skills were incredible.

The other cadets of the Silverflame Camp were all riled up and ready to throw shade at the Underdogs who had used a tremendous amount of resources to jump ranks up to the 49th rank.

Within two months, they did not only rank up from the 352nd position to the 49th rank, but the merit points they had accumulated was simply too much to be ignored, not anymore!

Many thought about challenging the Underdogs, however, nobody actually did it. As for the reason; they had gotten a new member two months ago, and their equipment had increased drastically.

From being the worst-equipped Hunting Unit that made it so far solely based on their desperate efforts, their equipment had improved to one of the best-equipped groups in a single day. All of this was just because of the new member that had joined their Hunting Unit as a latecomer.

Yes, it was all about Zayn, the latecomer of the Silverflame Camp, and the person who was deemed excessively rich because he handed the other members of his Hunting Unit an Artifact each, and a total of three dozen Soul Knight Armaments.

As for Zayn's equipment, he was in possession of three Unique Artifacts and a customized leather armor artifact. His artifacts seemed to be extremely compatible with him. This made it seem like all of his Artifacts had been created by a Grandmaster Blacksmith as custom-made Artifacts.

Many cadets were enraged about the new blood the 352nd Hunting Unit had received, but nobody dared to do anything against them, until now, at least.

Right now, things had changed considerably. The current 340th Hunting Unit was on the verge of getting kicked out. Their equipment was decent but they didn't have enough time to complete a mission anymore. Furthermore, the Hunting Units that were ranked lower than them would return soon from their mission.

There were only six hours left before the next weeding, and it was quite obvious that things would go south if they couldn't accumulate enough points to rank just a little higher.

Unfortunately, the gap between the 339th and the 340th Hunting Unit was too big. Challenging a Hunting Unit for a Brawl wouldn't grant them enough points, not if their opponents were not ranked in the top 250.

The captain of the 340th Hunting Unit knew that they couldn't defeat anyone of the top 250, except the unit Zayn had joined.

During a Hunting Brawl, which was a fight between two Hunting Units, everyone was given the same equipment to make sure that the battle would be fair. This rule only applied to Hunting Units whose gap in the quality and quantity of equipment was simply too far apart. Thus, only the Hunting Unit of the green-haired cadet was actually given the opportunity to make use of this unique rule. Their equipment was simply too thrashy.

"I don't really think that it makes a big difference whether we fight you with our Artifacts, or without. Can you stop this farce? I am hungry and your face bothers me quite a bit," Zayn said as he looked at the group opposite them.

The green-haired cadet's Hunting Unit called them to the training ground when they headed out for some lunch. They had been busy hunting monsters for the last two months, and the others were a little tired. They deserved a feast...once again!

Zayn was basically the only one who was not tired at all. He killed most monsters whenever they went out on a mission during the last two months. His strength hadn't increased much when it came to the amount of soul particles he had absorbed, but his combat experience and the constant training he received thanks to the powerful monsters they fought increased rapidly.

It was quite wondrous, honestly.

Everyone was confused why Zayn's soul particles didn't increase, but that explanation was quite simple. He never bothered absorbing the soul particles in his surroundings. When he told that to the others the first time, they called him stupid. Why would anyone as 'talented' as Zayn not want to increase the number of his Soulrings? As long as he used enough resources, he would have easily reached the Late Soul Knight rank.

However, what everyone seemed to have missed was a pretty simple fact. The difficulty of Towers is always dependent on the amount of soul particles within the individual that entered the tower.

If the Tower was a 'Party'-Type Tower, the average amount of soul particles would be used as determining factor of the Tower's difficulty. But what the others didn't realize was that the Cavern Tower of the Casilian was a Solo-Type Tower.

An individual trial would be created for everyone willing to enter the Cavern Tower of the Casilian. Thus, Zayn's strength stagnated at the Mid level of the Soul Knight rank. Of course, the same couldn't be said about his Spirits.

Zayn would never waste the precious ownerless soul particles he received from the Soul Wisps of the monsters he had killed. That meant, Zayn was prepared for the Cavern Tower of the Casilian, more than anyone else at that.

He was more than just a little satisfied with the gains he made during the last two months.

Meanwhile, the dickheads in front of him were bothering him, restricting him from eating his fill.

"Give me a bow and a quiver filled with arrows, and I will hit all of their holes at the first try!"
