'Does this kind of camp really work?' Zayn wondered as he took a good look around the organized structure of the Silverflame Camp.

He was trying to find out if there was something unique about this camp, other than the ranking system, or if there was nothing more special.

If there was actually nothing else, Zayn would be a little disappointed.

But then again, he was just too spoiled from the goods and opportunities he had gotten his hands on during the last year. The Silverflame Camp was probably exactly what others with ordinary or bad backgrounds needed to change their fate. This was even more true for Normies.

Thinking about it, a camp that played according to the survival of the fittest rules was cruel, but it would also create a few tough characters.

'I expected the legions to focus on camaraderie, and teamwork on a large scale, but maybe I'm wrong. Creating a few powerhouses might actually be better…but who am I to say that. I don't even know what exactly I should do with my Army of Spirits. Should I focus on quantity now, or increase the quality of my Spirits?'

Zayn shrugged his shoulders and sighed inwardly.

He felt the glares of other Hunting Units and the desperation of the groups at the outermost area of the Silverflame as they went past the fencing area. Some Soldiers guarded the fences, but they didn't really pay much attention to the Hunting Units. Nobody took note of Zayn, which was great, even if it was a little surprising as well.

As they walked through the Silverflame Camp, the 352nd Hunting Unit split up. David and Leona had to head to the Infirmary. Kevin went with them to get his arms checked. He didn't want to speak about it before because he didn't want to be labeled as a crybaby, but his arms were bruised black and blue, and he felt that one of his arms might have been fractured.

This left Zayn with Jeremy, Miranda, and Mike as they went over to the supply area of the camp. At the supply area, one could access missions, hand over the required body parts to have the completion of the missions verified, and one could purchase all kinds of goods as well.

"Being looked at with mockery is something new, even for me. Usually, it's just disgust and contempt," Zayn joked lightly, ignoring the higher naked Hunting Units

They stared at the emblem on the shoulders of the 352nd Hunting Unit's Uniform with a mocking smile. The number 352 could be seen clearly on the emblems, showing that this Hunting Unit would soon be expelled if nothing changed during the next weeding.

'This is definitely not camaraderie… Well, as long as they're getting through enough through the competition, I guess the organizers of the Silverflame Camp won't be too bothered. Camaraderie can be build once the weeds have been plucked out.'

Zayn was impressed at the sight of the powerful Normies and Blessed he saw on their way to the supply area. Most Normies and Blessed were Soul Knights, but there was also a handful of Soul Lords.

One had to know that the cadets of the Silverflame Camp were not even 20 years old. They were young, and if Nial recalled correctly, nobles wouldn't enter the three Big Legions of mankind's central region either.

For nobles, big clans, and other powerful organizations, the resources of the three Big Legions were not considered extremely valuable. They had to nourish only a few members of their newest generation before they would learn to fend for themself and earn their own bread. Thus, it was much easier to pay a small fortune to nourish their youngest generation instead of sending them to the Legions of the central region.

That was also why some people said that mankind's legions were a playground for commoners and low-ranked nobility.

Of course, that was not entirely true because there were enough high nobles who felt that the Legions and their camps were a great way to teach their youngest ones how brutal the real world was. Getting raised in a noble household, trained by renowned instructors and taught by the best of the best, was great, but it was incomparable to getting dragged through the mud in the wilderness, fighting with life on the line and desperately trying to rank as high as possible to get as many merit points as possible.

Because of that, one could see a handful of children that had written the word 'noble' on their wide foreheads. That was what it felt like to Zayn, at least!

He was still distracted when they reached the supply area or precisely the small building that resembled a bad replica of the Adventurer Hall. There was a mission board with countless missions printed on parchment, and there was a counter which Jeremy and the two Blessed approached carefully.

They were a little nervous as they retrieved the three pairs of Troll eyes from their small expanding pouch that was even smaller than the first expanding pouch Zayn had purchased a long time ago.

"The 352nd Hunting Unit's Troll hunting mission has been completed. Please verify the completion!" Jeremy said out loud while handing over the huge eyes.

Zayn read through the content of the missions while waiting for the others to finish their business.

He didn't want to attract too much attention, but that was exactly what he did wherever he went. After all, he was equipped with several artifacts, and didn't wear the Uniform that had been given to every cadet of the Silverflame Camp.

That was also why he couldn't stay outside. Some officers would take note of him sooner or later. Unfortunately, it didn't seem like the middle-aged man working as a receptionist in the replica of the Adventurer Hall was too focused on Jeremy and his Hunting Unit.

From the looks of it, he frowned deeply at the sight of the Trolls' eyes and the forced wry smiles on the faces of the Normie and the two Blessed.

The middle-aged man saw Zayn from the corner of his eyes. At first, he didn't even notice Zayn because his presence seemed to merge with the background, but looking at him a little longer, his expression turned serious.

"Young man, yes you! Are you a new cadet?" The middle-aged man asked, squinting his eyes as Zayn turned over to him. Zayn pointed at himself while tilting his head in confusion.

"No that shouldn't be it. There are no new cadets yet. Who are you and how did you pass by the soldiers!?"

The middle-aged man's voice turned serious and it looked like he was about to jump across the wooden counter, ready to apprehend Zayn when the young Normie shrugged his shoulders as if it was nothing serious.

"I just walked past them…"
