The fourth, fifth, and sixth written page in the Grimoire of the Ancient didn't have any techniques.

On the contrary, they were filled with detailed information, tales, and prophecies.

Reading through them was enough to recall some fragmented memories of the past.

Zayn recalled a few people of the past, when he was still young, to be precise. The world he came from never faced something like a Realm Fusion or anything like that.

On the contrary, his world was naturally connected to a different dimension via Towers. These towers could only be entered by the 'Awakened', whose Soul, Body, and Mind were compatible with soul particles. free(w)ebnovel

Upon entering the towers, one would enter the 0th Floor, also called the Tutorial.

The tutorial was a trial in which the Awakened's determination, talent, intelligence, personality, and coals were examined. The final result of the trial would reward the Awakened with the most suitable Ancient Power. This kind of reward was completely different to the powers granted by the Gods.

Ancient Powers changed the deepest parts of the Awakened; their genetics. The stronger the Awakened would grow through the refinement of their Body and Mind, the stronger their Ancient Power would grow alongside. (f)reeweb(n)ovel.com

In his old world, things were more peaceful at first. Some people, whose faces Zayn couldn't recall anymore, told him numerous tales about the dimensions on the other side of the Tower Trials, how beautiful the places on the other side were, what kind of magnifying races one could encounter, and much more.

Because Zayn was still young at that time, he believed these fairy tales more than he should have. He trusted the worst of the people that had long since been forgotten, and he paid the price for it.

Zayn was not too sure about the things that happened to him after he became Awakened, and after he climbed the Tower. However, what he could clearly recall was that his actions destroyed not only the Towers but also the planet he had lived on. But that was not all.

The destruction he had caused was much grander than that. Zayn was unable to reach out to the memories that revolved around the most important memories of each incident.

He only knew that he destroyed the Towers and the Planet, not why he did that, or how that had even been possible, in the first place.

Zayn didn't even recall the Ancient Power he had awoken. He presumed that it had been the Grimoire of the Ancient, but if that were to be the case, he would have remembered that by now.

The memories revolving around the Grimoire of the Ancient were pretty detailed when it came to the memories of techniques, various tales of magnificent places that were considered the Higher Dimension, and much more.

Zayn was very interested in the information he procured from the Grimoire of the Ancient and the fragmented memories of the past. Some memories overlapped, creating a more vivid image of these specific stories, while other pieces of information flashed through his mind before they were imprinted somewhere deep in his subconsciousness, unlikely to ever resurface again.

When the fragmented memories of his past and the memories of the Grimoire hit him like two tidal waves that crashed into each other with a small stone in the middle of the entire mess, Zayn had been out for an entire day.

If not for the Spirits, his situation would have been quite perilous and hard to solve. Fortunately, he found himself in the cavern hall, drenched in a cold sweat and breathing roughly.

"I didn't undergo Merlin's hellish training, but I feel, and probably look, even worse than I would do after a 'refreshing' training session with Merlin."

Zayn smelled his own sweat and he held his nose for a minute or two before changing his clothes after he gave up attempting to ignore the unpleasant smell.

Once he found himself in a new set of neat clothes, Zayn felt much better. However, the memories that tormented his mind had yet to be organized.

Disregarding unnecessary information was quickly done. The bigger problem was to rank the importance of the other information. Some pieces of information may be more important for later, but they may be useless right now. That was a factor Zayn had to take into consideration right now.

It was also the reason why he spent a few hours organizing the mess in his head, before he ended up even more confused.

"The prophecy of the Heroes summoned to another world. Why do I feel like these fairy tales are so weird? Is there a reason for the Grimoire to show me multiple fairy tales of heroes that had been summoned to another world? If so…why would the Grimoire waste an entire written page on something like that?"

Zayn knew that the Grimoire of the Ancient ought to be helpful, that it handed out hints to the holder, and that some information might be harder to figure out than others.

Of the first three written ages, two had been used for the explanation and description of unique techniques and only one had mentioned pieces of advice from a former wielder of the Grimoire of the Ancient. However, in the past, Zayn had obtained different pieces of advice.

The advice had been useful for both of them, but that was only the case due to their unique circumstances at that time.

It showed quite clearly that the Grimoire was not stupid and that it might actually be sentient.

Zayn was not too sure if the Grimoire of the Ancient had attained sentience or not, and he didn't really care too much about the specifics either.

He just knew that the 'Heroes summoned in a different world' was important to him.

'I am definitely not some sort of hero, so either this is just a mistake, I was accidentally pulled through to a different world, or this whole bullshit is about some other heroes. There is Titan's master for..example…Wait! Titan's Master is from my world isn't he?'

Zayn felt like he was getting somewhere. The pieces were slowly coming together and his expression lit up as well.

He was certain that he couldn't be a Hero. That was a matter of fact.

However, that didn't mean someone else from his world couldn't be a hero. There might as well be many people from his world who had been summoned to this world!

Thinking about Titan's Master, Zayn recalled that the Dragontale Twin Sabers had been forged by Titan's Master and that they had letters written down in the language of his old world.

Recalling more and more things, it was almost as if a lightbulb had been switched on inside his mind.

'Could it be?...'
