Now that three days had already passed since he defeated the three-headed Chimera, its Soul Wisp shrunk in size considerably.

The Soul Wisp was currently still levitating above the king-sized bed in the Adventurer Suite, but the ownerless soul particles had halved.

It was about time that Zayn absorbed the soul particles. After all, it would be a waste to use more soul particles to maintain the Soul Guidance technique.

Without thinking too much about it, Zayn devoured the remaining ownerless soul particles upon returning to the Adventurer Hall.

His Spirits were already working hard, spending their full focus on absorbing soul particles, and filling their Soulrings. Zayn's entire body felt extremely full and satiated upon absorbing the soul particles into his body.

'No pain?' He wondered, smiling lightly at the resilience of his body. It seemed like the Saintess' healing toughened his body a little bit. That was quite nice and helpful. After all, he wouldn't have to rush annexing the soul particles into his body and could calmly control the soul particles inside his body to annex them slowly and steadily into his heart.

That was what Zayn did for the next five days. He didn't sleep or eat much in these five days. His focus was occupied by the thought of annexing the ownerless soul particles and making them his.

He ordered a few dishes from the Adventurer Hall every now and then, but they were pretty expensive. However, the expenses were something he had to cope with since he didn't want to leave the Adventurer Hall when it was not necessary.

Now was not the time to expose himself to the outside, not yet at least!

After the soul particles had been annexed, his strength had already increased quite a bit. If he was not mistaken, his strength had increased by more than 50% just from absorbing the Chimera's remaining soul particles.

Spending the following week filling his second Soulring with the soul particles he had just annexed, Zayn completed the second Soulring.

The nutrition inside him was rapidly drained to allow his body to adjust to the strength he was supposed to gain from the refinement the second Soulring would pose on his body and mind.

His mind felt much clearer than before, but he was lacking nutrition to complete the refinement nonetheless.

He ordered more than fifty dishes, each of them with more nutrition than the other. Zayn chose to ignore the price he had to pay for everything as he devoured the food on one platter after the other. He didn't even slow down when his stomach told him quite clearly that it couldn't contain anymore food.

Zayn's mission was to keep the food inside him and to eat enough to fill his body with the nutrition the second Soulring required to refine his mind and body properly. Only then could he be considered to have truly advanced to the Soul Knight rank.

Digesting the food and refining his body and mind required quite a while. Almost a week passed before he finally advanced to the Soul Knight rank.

He was twice if not thrice as strong as before. That was quite interesting, even more so because he could use the freezing trait of the Dragontale Twin Sabers with higher potency. He wouldn't have to use his Spirits' energy to use the same attacks as he had unleashed during his fight with the three-headed Chimera. His own power was enough to create such powerful attacks, finally.

'With that strength, I would have easily overwhelmed the Chimera.'

Wielding the Dragontale Twin Sabers in the Adventurer Suite, he smiled lightly. The Saber Artifacts were truly the extension of his arms. That was how they felt right now. It was a great feeling, something he would love to experience while fighting.

However, his next fight would have to wait for a little…though not too long.

He knew that some thieves, belonging to Manager Tilan, were impatiently waiting outside the Adventurer Hall. The moment Zayn would leave the Adventurer Hall, one of them would inform Manager Tilan, of wherever that coward may be hiding, while the others would continue trailing him.

But that was what he was hoping for. He would soon leave Zerek and he wanted to bait Manager Tilan, and his cohort to attack him at the same time, in the wilderness outside Zerek.

'Silas said that Titan sent him a message a few days ago. Looks like the Artifacts are completed!'

Zayn smiled at the thought of the Artifacts that had been completed. He was looking forward to them.

He left the Adventurer Hall, ignoring the 'well-hidden' figures hiding on the rooftops of the nearby buildings as he made his way to the Titan's shop.

"I am here for my masterpieces. Will your creations exceed my expectations, Master Titan?" He shouted out loudly the moment he entered the shop of the Dwarf-like human.

Titan heard, and saw, him immediately. He stroke his long beard and smiled proudly at the young Normie.

"You really are a feisty brat. To think that you were able to ruin Tilan's business, and kill the Chimera. When I heard what you did, I felt like I had to improve as Blacksmith. I understood that there were always new things to learn… Either way, I hope you like the finished products.

I gave it my blood, sweat and tears to finish everything you've asked for. They're all of the highest quality!"

(910)

Blacksmith Tilan's voice was filled with pride. However, the pride was also directed toward Zayn, whom he had underestimated. The young Normie had been determined to become strong enough to keep the promise he made. He worked tirelessly and achieved everything he promised.

That was something Zayn could be proud of.

Tilan was proud of the young Normie, and he felt guilty for thinking that it was a waste to create expensive Artifacts for someone who was bound to die.

Zayn was not only dead, but he was stronger than ever.

Thus, Tilan had given his all, exceeding his limitation as Master Blacksmith to create masterpiece after masterpiece upon finding out that Zayn defeated the Chimera after it had mostly been healed.

Tilan, just like many others, had wronged Zayn, and he made up for it by spending weeks creating the best products, no matter how stupid they may seem at first glance.

He retrieved the Artifacts while looking at them with the smile of a doting father.

"Wow…"
