If the husband and wife did not have feelings for each other, there would be no meaning in sharing the same bed.
“Ming Yan, I have no right to speak on this matter. Only you do. But as your brother and your master, I advise you to marry a willing bride. Otherwise, the two of you will be just like strangers living together. There’s no meaning.”
Dongfang Ming did not want his friend to have an unhappy marriage. A lifetime could be neither long nor short, and should not be spent with a random stranger.
