As Alex reached the place he left the trio to go meet with Isabella, Xiao Bai quickly left Grace's side and ran towards him as she saw him making Grace once again feel complicated.
"Did you miss me, Xiao Bai? Here look what I brought for you."
Alex smiled as she came and hugged his waist, Sticking close to his body with no intention to allow him to leave her anymore.
He know it should be too hard for her this time, So he let her be, As he rubbed her head dotingly as he with his other hand gave her 4 pieces of fish he brought from the system.
"Water meat!!"
Alex did not know if he laugh or cry as Xiao Bai reacted with the same enthusiasm seeing the fried fish as she did when she saw him.
Anyway, he did not bother with the issue, Xiao Bai also did not see him as her eyes were on the fish which was in her hands now. She could not wait to take a bite. She indeed craved the fish for a while.
They leave the game store because of it but sadly in the mall, no one sells fish at all, Most of the dining places were closed and others were just selling generic stuff.
This might be because it is still noon, So they close the store or this might be the effect of the mall not doing well business, Which is ironic as this is the city's no.1 mall, though now that was nothing but an old name.
So Xiao Bai had to be disappointed not being able to eat the thing she was craving for. She never tasted it but her instincts here told her it would be good, Making her crave for it.
"Yo-You take one, Just one."
But she did not start eating, Rather she walked to Grace and offered her one fish in her cute childish voice.
"Ohh, you are giving me one? If so, thank you very much, Xiao Bai."
Grace was also affected by Xiao Bai's cuteness. This might be her second strongest power, Of course the first one is her being an S-Rank powerhouse.
Before Grace did not want to take it from her and politely decline it but something snapped in her mind as she decided to pick up the smallest fish from her hands.

Liza had a very friendly smile on her face now. She was also talking in a very polite manner as if she did not mind how because of Xiao Bai she was forced to wear this lolita uniform. She very understandingly said to Xiao Bai as she had forgiven her actions.

But when Alex saw these alarms go off in his head, Now that he learned one thing that is If the heroine is not acting in her usual way then she definitely is upto no good at all, This is a tried and tested thing he picked up.

As Alex thought Liza was upto no good, She directly reached for the fish in Xiao Bai's hands and picked up the biggest fish from the bunch, The one Xiao Bai was eyeing on was in Liza's hand.
Liza did not waste any second, She brought that fish to her mouth and took a bite at it in the misty eyes of Xiao Bai.
Xiao Bai was really shocked and was on the verge of crying. She offered it.as a courtesy, She never thought anyone was going to pick it up as who eats just a fish alone? But to her disbelief Grace did but thankfully she only picked the smallest one.
So she did not mind much about her. Also she liked Grace. That's why there was no extreme reaction but the story with Liza is different, They both did not like each other at all.
Xiao Bai is a well-mannered girl who only offered fish to her because she knew Liza might not accept it or decline it but this woman not only did not decline but picked up the biggest fish.
Then in front of her eyes, Xiao Bai was not sure what she would do now. She was surely angry but also hurt. This was the first time she felt this new emotion. She could not understand how to react.
"Xiao Bai, Don't cry, Don't worry, You still have two left, Why not eat them before they go cold?"
Alex had to act quickly. He could also see Xiao Bai did not know how to control her anger, So he quickly came to her and held her shoulders to prevent any unexpected action against Liza.
"Mum!!? Why is this soo good? Where did you buy this Alex?"
Liza did not pay any attention to Xiao. She was looking in shock at the fried fish in her hand. She tasted all the delicacy the world has to offer but she never ate something like this.
This taste is so simple but she could not get enough of it. A simple thing but that is what makes this a unique dish.
"We have a more serious problem here to deal with Liza. You have the guts to provoke an S-rank warrior that is a legendary beast. Do you understand what would happen if I did not stop her right now?"
Alex was not having it. Of course, the fish tasted good, which is a system product but he has a more important thing to deal with here.

'Why is she more cranky than usual?'
Alex was taken aback as he heard her words, It's not a surprise for him that Liza could come up with an argument as he knows she is a very smart woman, She is just stupid enough to not use that brain of hers.
It's just her behaviour is quite strange right now. She is sometimes not in a good mood but it was never this bad. Something surely happened that he was unaware of.
"Y-You bad woman."
Amidst of Alex's thinking, Xiao Bai finally recovered and was able to hold herself back from crying, She then pointed at Liza as she said to her as if she was saying something extreme to her in a childish voice.
"I am bad, But tell me are you going to eat those?"
Liza did not care about what Xiao Bai saying, She had already finished her fish in her hand and now her eyes were on the fish in Xiao Bai's hands. There was full intent in her eyes to try to get those fish from Xiao Bai.
"No!! Alex protects me with water meat."
Xiao Bai reacted unexpectedly as she quickly hid behind Alex protecting the remaining two fishes in her hands.
Alex just had to shake his head and look at Liza with warning, He did not understand how this woman works.
He just hopes others stay sane and not turn like these two ones.
