Chapter 56 Delirious Dungeon (1/3)
As the trio entered the dungeon gate, they arrived on a small hill under the starry sky.
The atmosphere was breezy, and the night dark. But, they could clearly see the green maze's entrance before them as it shone under the moonlight of two moons.

Looking at the glowing dark-maroon texts floating before them, the trio understood one simple thing: the maze had a different kind of exit, and they only had an hour to finish the dungeon.
"We don't know the directions in this strange place with two moons, but let's consider our front as North and move according to that," Erix said before taking the lead and walking towards the entrance.
The maze's structure was magically grassy since its tall grass walls faintly shone with green luster. The path was also four meters wide, so plenty of space existed.
After arriving at the end of the first pathway, they saw that the pathways leading to East and West had fog that prevented them from seeing what awaited them on the path.
"East or West?" Rin crossed her arms as she observed her surroundings.
"You stay here," Erix turned to the East. "I'll take a peek."
He put his hand inside the fog first to see if something was wrong, but the moment he touched the mist, it started clearing.

On the other hand, the west path ceased to become a path as tall magical grass buried it, creating a maze wall.
"Look out!"
Rin quickly pushed Erix since she saw a glowing green thing shooting towards Exit from the east path, but since Erix looked back at the west path upon hearing the sound, so he didn't notice.
It didn't make any sound!
Rin pushed aside Erix, but the green thing hit her.
"You…" Erix frowned and quickly checked her arm where the thing hit her.
"Eh? It doesn't hurt, and my vitality also didn't go down," Rin confusedly said.
"Guys, we have enemies...I think," Isabella interrupted them as she saw ten half-a-meter tall round dirt balls with weed heads and tiny brown root legs dashing towards them from the East Path as they shot palm-sized green orbs from their weed heads.

Erix and Rin were hit by multiple green orbs from approximately ten Weedlings but weren't injured.
"Strange, what kind of attacks are they?"
"Let's kill them first," Erix said before he dashed forward and punched the earliest Weedling to death.
The vitality of these monsters was low, so they died with one attack from Erix and Rin.
Isabella practiced her Knife against them since she didn't want to use mana on these small fries that died quickly.
'Why do I feel like my senses just got boosted,' Rin thought. 'Is it my imagination?'
"Let's continue because we shouldn't waste time in this time-limited dungeon," Erix said before going ahead into the East path.
After arriving at the end, they saw a fog-blocked path to the front, to the left, and the right.
"We have a path to North, East, and South. Hmmm, How about North?"
"Yep."
"Yes."
Erix touched the fog on the north side as it dispersed, but instead of revealing a similar path of the maze, it showed an empty garden that spawned fifteen Weedlings from the lawn ground.
Since they only had one type of attack, they used it immediately as a bombardment and then once every other second.
A few initial attacks hit them, but then they started dodging and killing the Weedlings.
After clearing them all, they went to the maze wall of the north, where three passage entrances were situated.
All three entrances had three different glowing symbols on top of them.
The first entrance had a cauldron-like symbol, the second entrance had a weedling symbol, and the third entrance had a skull symbol.
Without wasting time discussing, they quickly entered the entrance with the Weedling symbol.
After all, they were familiarized with Weedlings after killing 25 of them, so they decided to enter that entrance.
After touching the fog of that entrance, it cleared up to reveal a smaller garden, but…
"Wtf…"
There were over fifty Weedlings already standing, and the moment the fog was cleared, they all unleashed their green orb attacks!
Isabella quickly used her Frost Shield before Erix, "Rin, hurry!"
They also went behind Erix as the Frost Shield blocked the green orb attacks.
The Weedlings started dashing towards them, with each of them releasing a green orb every two seconds.
"I am going to try it," Rin said as her body crackled with lightning.
She jumped up high and used 70 mana to empower her entire body with Lightnin Charge.
Instantly, her eyes shined! After practicing a bit in the forest, she could already stay awake when charging her body with 70 mana, but she couldn't maintain or increase the mana to reach extremes.
However, she felt confident now because her boosted senses and some other effects of the green orb that hit her made her more sensitive to elements, or at least, that's what she felt!
"Erix, Isabella! I think the green orb attacks are useful!"
*Crackle!*
Rin added 30 more mana and completely charged her body with Lightning Charge.

Rin took out her Blade Eater and further used Thunder Blitz skills as she crossed a distance of 15 meters. Her arms moved at break-neck speed as she dashed, swinging ten times in quick succession and killing ten Weedlings in one go!
"I feel great!"
She did several dashes in the next five seconds and killed all Weedlings.
Erix and Isabella approached her as she stood in the center with her eyes closed.
"Should I also try?" Isabella muttered, seeing Rin in a trance.
"You can try when we fight them again," Erix agreed. "Although we already completed the task of killing 50 Weedlings, there's no harm in killing more."
"Yes, let's bulldoze through everything," Isabella smiled. "We might also complete a hidden quest that way if there's any."
"Damn it!" Rin shot open her eyes with a frustrated pout. "The progress stopped after crossing 50%."
"Darling, how did you even do it that quick?"
"Haha, maybe I am a genius in magic and affinity?" Erix joked with a chuckle. "Anyway, Isabella's peal of laughter interrupted Erix.
"What?" Erix questioned with a confused smile on his face. 'What the fuck is going let's continue. You two can try to awaken your affinity in this dungeon since it doesn't feel that dangerous."
As such, the trio looked at two normal path entrances, one to the East and one to the West.
This time, they decided to go in the West direction path.
After crossing two normal passages and killing more Weedlings while getting hit by a few of their green orbs, they arrived again at a different type of place.
The fog cleared, and what they showed startled them.
It was a thick jungle!
But not wasting any time, the trio entered the dense jungle with trees, plants, and a comfortable fragrance permeating everywhere while carefully looking around and moving ahead in the dark.
But Isabella suddenly stumbled on a vine and fell flat on her face.
Rin and Erix paused upon hearing the sound and looked behind as they saw Isabella tilting her face up and meeting Rin's and Erix's gaze.
"Are you f-"
"Pfff! Hahahahaha…"
Isabella's peal of laughter interrupted Erix.
"What?" Erix questioned with a confused smile on his face. 'What the fuck is going on?'
Something was affecting his mind!
"Hahaha!" Rin also burst out laughing. "Sister I-Isabella, how can you fall like that, hahaha…."
"You tell me…pff..." Isabella stood up while trying to stop her laughter.
She looked at Erix with a mix of laughing and crying expressions as if she was trying to stop her laughter. "I think we are fucked, haha haha…I-I can't stop laughing."
