Chapter 103: Chapter 102: Negotiations

Soon, the two of them were both panting slightly. Despite it being daytime, Truman Dale was suddenly stirrily passionate. His wife, although a bit older in age, still had her charm and wasn’t like most western women whose figures had become barrel-like.

“What’s gotten into you today? It’s still daytime right now?!” Truman’s wife couldn’t resist giving him a little push, although they had had wild moments in their youth, after so many years, their intimate times were regrettably infrequent, let alone during the daytime.

However, Truman obviously didn’t care whether it was daytime or not, after all, it was just the two of them at home, “Daytime arouses me even more.” Truman left her with that sentence before launching himself onto her, his wife no longer resisted and began to enjoy fully. Not until Truman was exhausted did the two calm down, while lying on Truman’s chest, his wife asked, “What on earth is it about you today? Did you come across something that made you happy?

Truman chuckled, “Yes, a good thing did happen. Perhaps my career will hit a new high soon. We might soon have a private jet and yacht. It’s good, but you might not understand if I told you, you go cook, I’ve still got stuff to do.” Truman patted his wife’s bottom before speaking.

Truman’s wife gave him a stare, but didn’t inquire further and instead got up to dress and make food. In the meantime, Truman began contacting the people Finn Lewis had asked for, the chairman and CEO of Flying Horse Dr.David

Lancaster(Dieter Zetsche), a sixty-two-year-old born in Istanbul, Turkey. Now, he is the eldest executive and CEO within the Flying Horse group, one could say his whole life was spent with Flying Horse.

The call was quickly connected, “Hello Mr. Dieter Zetsche.” Truman began respectfully, at least for now there was a big gap between him and the other.

“Attorney Truman Dale, hello, what can I do for you?” David Lancaster’s German, slightly accented with Turkish, came through the phone.

“Hello, Mr. Lancaster, here’s the situation. I’ve been hired by an employer from the Flame Nation who is interested in acquiring an automobile manufacturing factory in Achievement Country.” Truman Dale stated his intention.

“Attorney Truman Dale, you can’t possibly be suggesting that your employer intends to acquire Flying Horse?” David Lancaster chuckled, making a seemingly not-so-small joke. Putting aside whether anyone could afford to acquire Flying Horse, the market value of Flying Horse was not low at all. Even if someone could afford it, there was no way Flying Horse would sell, not to mention the other party was someone from the Flame Nation.

“Of course not Mr. Lancaster, you’re joking. However, my employer is particularly interested in one of Flying Horse’s all-hands car workshops, which is also a problem for the Flying Horse company.” Truman Dale quickly responded.

“Oh? You mean HyperCraft?” David Lancaster immediately knew what Truman Dale was referring to. It wasn’t exactly a secret in the industry. However, even acquiring HyperCraft wasn’t a straightforward task, as the brand name alone isn’t a small figure.

Of course, while HyperCraft was a luxury brand, even though Flying Horse Company had new plans to relaunch it once again, but this time it would fall from the position of a luxury brand to become the high-end luxury car of Flying Horse’s S series. Even though it would still be priced high, the HyperCraft brand would no longer be able to sit at the level of top luxury brands like Quadriga and Ice Horse.

Even so, the Flying Horse Company was still very anxious about relaunching HyperCraft because the market reaction to date wasn’t great. There was internal disagreement within Flying Horse Company; no other company wanted to accept HyperCraft, but Flying Horse couldn’t merely let this brand fall out of public sight as it would be a huge loss for them.

But to maintain this brand, they must launch new cars. Now that there’s someone willing to take it, the Flying Horse Company is not opposed to selling it. Frankly, since Flying Horse acquired HyperCraft in 1960, it has never been a pillar within the Flying horse group and was seen as a semi-useless asset.

“Yes, sir.” replied Truman Dale promptly.

“Oh. May I know which company in the Flame Nation is your employer?” Lancaster opened his mouth to ask immediately.

As the largest market in the world, especially with the rapid emergence of the Flame Nation’s economy, it’s safe to say the Flame Nation is the world’s largest automobile market. David Lancaster would never be unfamiliar with the Flame Nation. In fact, he was very familiar with the Flame Nation. He basically knew almost every big name billionaire and company in the Flame nation.

“I’m sorry, but I can’t disclose my employer’s information. But I can tell Mr. Lancaster that this time Mr. Lewis is not purchasing in the name of a company, but as a private individual. As for other information, my employer would like to invite Mr. Lancaster to lunch tomorrow, if that’s okay?” Truman Dale quickly spoke.

David Lancaster immediately fell into contemplation, after a long while he raised his head and said: “Well, since Mr. Lewis has come from afar, he certainly shouldn’t be the one treating for lunch. I’ll treat Mr. Lewis to lunch tomorrow noon, would ZurLetzteninstanz Restaurant work for you?”

“Sure, see you at ZurLetzteninstanz Restaurant at 12 noon tomorrow.” Truman Dale agreed without hesitation. After hanging up the phone, Truman Dale breathed a sigh of relief. The headquarters of Flying Horse Company isn’t in Bean City, but Truman Dale knew that the president of Flying Horse happened to be in Bean City. He didn’t know if the man had time or not. Fortunately, now that the deal was confirmed, Truman Dale breathed a sigh of relief. From this, it seemed that Flying Horse Company was indeed ready to part with HyperCraft.

ZurLetzteninstanz Restaurant in Bean City, said to be one of the oldest restaurants in the Achievement Country, established in 1621, it’s been around for over three hundred eighty years now. When Finn Lewis heard about this, he was a bit curious. After all, it was rare for a restaurant to last that many years. No one in Bean City recognized Finn Lewis and only a few people could recognize David Lancaster. The two met each other in a dignified setting of the restaurant. As someone who “still doesn’t understand” German, Finn Lewis naturally brought Truman Dale with him.

As for Fishy Wells and Julia Parker, they followed but sat at a separate booth, “Hello Mr. Lewis.” When David Lancaster saw Finn Lewis, he was slightly taken aback. He hadn’t expected Finn Lewis to be so young.

“Hello, Mr. Lancaster. Nice to meet you.” Finn Lewis extended his hand to shake with the other man, nodding his head politely.

“I didn’t expect Mr. Lewis to be so young.” said David Lancaster with a slight smile, both men exchanged pleasantries before delving directly into business, “I heard Mr. Lewis is quite interested in our company’s brand HyperCraft?” “Including its hands-on production workshop.” Finn Lewis added..</p
