Chapter 783 comeback
Dio, who was still inside the Tower, suddenly felt something wrong from afar, and he immediately stood and walked towards the window. “Something is off!” Dio said as he stared into the distance. Natasha and Tony, who were curiously watching Dio, couldn’t say anything as they saw Dio suddenly leap into the battlefield.
“Dio is gone. It seems the situation must be bad enough if he decides to show up!” Tony said worriedly.
“I have a bad feeling about this!” Natasha said with a frown on her face. Tony then placed the Tesseract in a suitcase and cuffed the suitcase into his arm. It was just a precaution because he didn’t feel good about the entire situation.
“Come with me to the top floor!” Tony said as his Iron Man’s armor was left there. Natasha nodded and followed Tony to the top floor. However, when the two of them came to the door, a figure suddenly appeared and grabbed Tony, pressing him to the ground.
It was not a stranger at all, it was Vision!
Natasha immediately responded and tried to attack Vision to get off of Tony. She quickly pulled out her gun and shot Vision, but the bullet just bounced off of Vision’s body as it couldn’t harm him.
Natasha threw her gun at Vision as she knew that it wasn’t working and immediately rushed towards Vision. But before she could get to Vision, Steve apprehended her as she came to the door!
Natasha immediately froze as she saw Steve’s face. She immediately remembered the fake Steve that Dio mentioned earlier! She tried to kick Steve to break free, but her struggle was in vain as Steve immediately slammed Natasha’s body to the ground once more to stop her from doing anything.
Natasha tried to catch her breath as she felt her head would swell from the impact of Steve’s attack. But before she could move again, Steve put a taser on her neck and electrocuted her! Natasha was taken out of action with a simple taser. Although she had a superhuman constitution, she was still a human, and she couldn’t withstand the extra electricity that ran through her body!
Steve sighed in relief and carried her to a sofa inside the building. At the same time, Vision already stunned the present Tony and broke the cuff on the suitcase. The Future Tony immediately walked in and took the suitcase from Vision.
“We have to check it first!” Tony said worriedly. He opened the suitcase, and Tesseract was indeed inside.
“We got everything, let’s move!” Steve said as he moved the present Tony’s body roughly.
“Hey, be careful with my body!” The Future Tony said annoyedly. Even if what Steve did now wouldn’t affect him directly, Tony still didn’t like the idea that Steve treated his body roughly!
“Scott, we got everything! It’s time to pull out! Return with Luci immediately!” Steve said through his communication device.
“I have escaped the battlefield, but Luci is still engaging Thor, Hulk, and Dio! If she returned to her human form right now, things may get dangerous for her!” Scott said worriedly.
Steve frowned as he heard Scott’s report, but he knew that he had to return with everyone. It was his obligation to do so! Dio also entrusted Luci’s safety, which made it even harder for him to just leave her.
“Can you help her leave the battlefield? Make another distraction!” Steve asked Scott worriedly.
“I can’t do anything anymore! These guys are too much for me, and my Giant Form already hits its limit!” Scott said apologetically.
“I see, we will hurry over! Try to stall them as much as you can!” Steve said confidently. He then looked to both Vision and Tony and thought of a plan. “Tony, you take the two Infinity Stones back; Vision and I will find a way to rescue Luci!” Steve said confidently.
Steve had his own reason to send Tony back to the future as Steve knew that Tony would be a man that the Avengers needed the most back in the future!
Tony gave him a complicated look before nodding his head understandingly. “Alright, I will return first! Stay safe, but make sure all of you return back to us!” Tony said solemnly. Steve just smiled and nodded. Tony then took the two boxes and immediately activated his Time Travel suit to return to the future.
Avengers had secured 3 Infinity Stones, 2 on Tony, and 1 that Bruce took from the Ancient One! Now, the only question on Steve’s head was how to return with everyone else!
“Let’s go, Vision!” Steve said confidently.
“Right behind you, captain!” Vision said as he followed Steve out of the Avengers Tower.

Dio, Hulk, and Thor surrounded the Butterfly Goddess, but none of them acted rashly.
“You killed Steve?” Dio said as he showed a genuine killing intent and pulled out the [Reaper’s Gaze], ready to kill Luci.
Luci panicked as she saw Dio getting serious. Although she knew that it was an entirely different Dio, she still didn’t want to fight him head-on.
“I didn’t kill anyone!” Luci said weakly.
“What? What do you mean?” Dio said subconsciously. Luci then scattered the Light Needle that stuck on Steve’s head, and suddenly Steve opened his eyes again. The Light Needle just blocked Steve’s vitality, and he fell into a deep sleep state that fooled everyone as a result.
Now that she saw Dio getting serious, she had no reason to continue engaging the Avengers.
