Chapter 770 Your face is worthless
There was no one else except Dio that could swap two people at once like this! Natasha and Barton even saw that their Pym Particle has been taken away too! Now, even Shuri felt confused as she knew for sure that the number of people entering the Quantum Tunnel exactly matched the number of the Avengers that should go in too!
This just proved the fact that two people who were entirely out of place, took Natasha and Barton’s place on their mission! Combining the idea that Dio disappeared before today, Natasha and Barton could already tell what Dio had in mind!
Dio had to be using other people’s lives in exchange of Natasha and Barton’s! Dio just went ahead with his own plan without consulting as they wouldn’t approve of it!
Natasha and Barton didn’t have any means to stop Dio now as there was no more Pym Particle here! They could only wait and see what happened. Dio was really playing them for a fool right now! They believed that Dio must have gone to New York 2012 as planned right about now, but there were 2 strangers heading to Vormir to sacrifice themselves to take the Soul Stone.
Natasha and Barton had a sour look on their face as they weren’t in the mood to explain what really was happening to Shuri. It would be best to wait for everyone to return as the time travel shouldn’t take long to complete.

Dio appeared in 2014 with two strangers. Nebula and Rhodey who also arrived at the same time frame as Dio and the supposed Natasha and Barton were surprised! They didn’t understand why two strangers suddenly took Natasha and Barton’s place. They began to wonder whether Natasha and Barton made a mistake when they set their Time Coordinate?
Nebula and Rhodey just stood there as they were completely dumbfounded by the situation.
Regardless, Dio put the small spaceship that they had prepared on the ground and turned it back to its original size. Dio had to admit that the Pym Particle was trully one convenient technologies!
“Dio! What the fuck is going on here? Why are you here and where is Natasha and Clint? Who are these two and what are they doing here?” Rhodey asked a series of questions to Dio. The two strangers just embraced each other tightly as they were surprised and afraid by Rhodey’s emotional outburst.
“I kicked out Natasha and Barton from the mission! These two good people will volunteer in their stead to secure the Soul Stone. The rest of the plan will proceed as what we already planned.” Dio said casually. Rhodey was stunned by Dio’s word as he wasn’t a stupid man! In fact, he immediately understood what Dio was about to do!
“Stop this right now! Do you know what you are doing? This has taken too far, Dio! You are willing to sacrifice an innocent person now? You would actually let them die?” Rhodey asked accusingly.
“So, are you happy that Natasha or Barton dies instead?” Dio asked with a blank expression. Dio and Rhodey immediately fell into an argument that kept going back and forth, while Nebula didn’t respond at all!
She had no problem who should be sacrificed for this mission as she knew that she would be willing to sacrifice more than 1 person to make sure that they got their hands on the Soul Stone again!
“Just stand aside for a moment, Rhodey! After we all return, I will bear all the consequences!” Dio said as he didn’t want to argue with Rhodey anymore. He immediately ordered the couple to enter the Spaceship and immediately fly away towards Vormir.
Rhodey couldn’t help but sigh disappointedly. He thought that Dio’s approach was too extreme and selfish, but he had to admit that he couldn’t completely oppose Dio in this one because he knew that it would suck to lose one of the Avengers too!
Rhodey couldn’t help but admit that he felt relieved a little bit after knowing that Dio had swapped Natasha and Clint with complete strangers. Even though he knew that the couple were innocent people, he couldn’t react emotionally to them as he didn’t share his life with them.
“Well, what do we do now? Should we just wait for this guy named Quill to show up or should we just take the Power Stone ourselves?” Rhodey asked Nebula as he knew that he should be focusing on his own mission.
“We should ambush him! We’re not the only ones searching for these Infinity Stones in 2014!” Nebula said as she turned away and looked around.
“Wait a minute, who else is looking for these stones?” Rhodey asked.
“My Father, My sister, and myself!” Nebula said casually. Rhodey’s face immediately turned pale after hearing that he might encounter Thanos in the near future!

London 2013, Thor and Rocket appeared in an alleyway without a camera watching over it. Although Thor has already forgot the specific location of when the Aether appeared on Earth, fortunately, Dio already provided him with the time and coordinate for it.
“According to the location coordinates, we are three blocks away from where Jane Foster would encounter the Aether! We have to hurry over there!” Rocket said to Thor as he looked at the map.
But as Rocket turned his attention back to Thor, he couldn’t help but face palmed himself as he saw Thor run towards the nearby liquor store! “Why am I stuck with this drunkard!” Rocket said as he felt disappointed at Thor. Furthermore, Rocket knew that Thor wouldn’t have any money on him to actually buy any alcohol and it would just arise suspicion!
“Hey, do you know who I am? I am Thor Odinson! The God of Thunder! I am with the Avengers! Give me this bottle of wine, and I will sign you a photo of me!” Thor shouted.
Rocket just sighed as he walked towards the liquor store.
While Thor was preparing to leave the store with two bottles of wine, a shotgun was impolitely pointed to his head.
