Chapter 763 Hope is spreading

Tony appeared as a savior this time, creating a time machine for the new era! In this regard, Banner was thrilled and didn’t feel like being compared or being tripped by Tony. In fact, Shuri immediately dragged Tony towards the lab to start the new experiment concerning the Time Machine!

Tony’s ego this time was evident as the surprised look on everyone’s face was like praising him as they didn’t think the Time Machine theory wasn’t a simple theory that could be solved by going to bed at night!

Shuri herself had a few questions about it, but as she watched Tony in action, she had to admit that Tony had a skill beyond her in this aspect. She saw that Tony could easily solve the problem that she couldn’t even wrap her fingers around even after spending a month to figure it out.

Thereafter, Tony and Shuri continued to work on the Time Machine to make sure that everything was ready for the experiment as the two genius scientists of the Avengers. Regarding that, Banner felt a little left behind as he thought that he was also a genius scientist!

“It’s time to summon everyone here!” Dio said confidently.

………………

In the Hulk Pizzeria, Vision was the only one left to man the place because of Hulk’s absence. Thus, he was forced to recruit 2 waiters as the business was still blooming. Even in Hulk’s absence, people kept coming to the shop due to the reputation of the shop and their intention to meet other Avengers as well.

In addition to that, the food there was also good on its own, and the marketing name of the food was very catchy.

Vision liked this kind of life from the bottom of his heart. After he lost the Mind Stone, he didn’t feel any regrets regarding that matter. Instead, he felt free from the shackle of responsibility that the Mind Stone gave.

But at the end of the day, he still thought about the woman that sympathised with him and te his bland food back then. He still thought of her as a friend. His biggest regret now was the fact that he had no chance to make another lunch for her.

“Coming in for a hope package!” Banner suddenly appeared, disrupting Vision’s train of thought.

“Hulk? How did you get here? Did you do it?” Vision asked surprisedly. The people in the shop began to shout and chant the Hulk’s name as they were very excited by his arrival. The Hulk just smiled at everyone and struck a pose for everyone as they already took out their phone.

“My friend, I think we have to close the shop for a short while.” The Hulk said to Vision.

“Wow, that means that you did it! This is amazing!” Vision said as he was surprised by the news that a time machine was ready.

“Well, it’s more like Tony did it, but still, we need more manpower to help the mission. After all, the mission this time is very dangerous!” Hulk said solemnly.

“I know, but I think we should finish today’s work. As a service for the last day!” Vision said as he sighed tiredly.

“Of course, my friend!” The Hulk said playfully with a big smile on his face.

…………………

A massacre occurred at an illegal casino in Philippines. The local referred to the perpetrator as a ghost since everyone that was caught in the line of fire couldn’t escape the ghost’s wrath!

Now, the people inside the casino also felt the same way. The person who was attacking them gave off an intimidating aura that couldn’t easily be shaken off.

“Shoot him, he is alone! Don’t run away, kill him!” the boss of the casino shouted to rally his men. The sound of gunfire echoed in the building as they were desperate to kill the one enemy that infiltrated their casino.

When all the gunshot sounds disappeared and the casino door was finally opened from the outside, the person who entered later cautiously walked to the middle of the first room she found. And the ghost immediately surprised the woman as he jumped with a knife in his hand, ready to strike. But once he realised who the woman was, he dropped his knife.

“What are you doing here? You aren’t supposed to be here!” Barton said annoyedly.

“So, what about you, Barton? Are you supposed to be here?” Natasha said as he walked closer to Barton.

“This is my mission! My only reason left to live.” Barton said as he quietly sheathed his weapon.

“A mission? If I remember it correctly, you have been retired for a long time! Who gave you this mission of yours? Killing this many people wouldn’t bring your family back! We’ve turned a blind eye to the mess you’ve made so far before, hoping that someday you would realise that your action wasn’t necessary!” Natasha said firmly.

“So, you came here to bring me back?” Barton said coldly. But as he saw Natasha’s distressed look, he sighed and felt a little bad for stressing Natasha further.

“Sorry, Natasha! But it doesn’t seem right for me to return!” Barton said honestly.

“Don’t apologize to me, I know that you have been suffering, but now is not the time for you to do this! We have found a way to return everyone back, there’s still a chance to save your family!” Natasha said confidently. Those words saved Barton more than Natasha thought.

“Please, don’t give me any more false hope!” Barton desperately said as he tried to hold back his tears. He wouldn’t fall into despair again if he didn’t have any hope left!

“Please, come back, Barton! I am sorry that we didn’t give you any hope earlier!” Natasha said as she hugged Barton tightly. The blood-drenched katana on Barton’s hand fell to the ground as he finally embraced Natasha.
