A venomous stomach acid was spewed on the ground, melting the top layer of the ground quickly! It was clear that it was very corrosive, and Dio probably wouldn’t be able to block it completely! But it was easy for Dio to dodge this attack! He immediately took the opportunity to jump over to the snake’s head and slashed one of the snake’s eyes!
The snake immediately wailed in pain as one of its eyes was injured! Perhaps people would find it difficult to bring down such a huge monster, but for Dio, Beatrice’s huge body was a liability! He could’ve hit Beatrice even with his eyes closed. Fighting Heike might be more of a challenge than this!
Beatrice immediately shook her body in attempt to shake Dio down, but Dio used his Hamon Technique to stick himself to the snake’s body before stabbing Beatrice’s huge body with the [Reaper’s Gaze]!
The solid scale that protected Beatrice’s body couldn’t protect her from [Reaper’ Gaze] at all! But before the fight went awry, Dio stabbed Beatrice’s other eye! Because of that, Beatrice wailed in pain once again before rolling around to shake Dio down from her body.
But it was a futile struggle as Dio couldn’t be shaken off by just simply ramming him through a wall. The Hamon Energy that Dio used to cover his body reduced the damage that he sustained to the bare minimum. Instead, it would be more painful for Beatrice as she didn’t have the same protection as Dio!
At this moment, Dio had the upper hand as it wouldn’t be hard for him to deal with a blind, overly grown snake! But as Beatrice grew more desperate, she suddenly spewed black water into the sky!
Seeing the scene in front of her, Ruzie immediately rushed towards a fairly closed ruin to shelter herself from Beatrice’s attack. “Don’t let that water touch your body! It is a strong venom that can kill anything it touches in mere seconds!” Ruzie shouted.
Dio was shocked as he heard Ruzie’s word. The snake still had the strength to spew acid out of her mouth! But from Ruzie’s words alone, Dio knew that it would probably be more toxic than the Stomach Acid from earlier!
Dio immediately cut the snake’s scale and flesh as he lied down and covered himself with the snake’s scale that he cut earlier. He wasn’t sure whether his Hamon Armor would be able to withstand the toxicity of the venom, but he wasn’t about to find out!
The black water rained down to the ground, killing every plant it came in contact with and several birds that were unfortunate enough to bathe in the black rain! After the black water rained down to the ground, the air was immediately filled with a stench that was closely associated with death stench!
This was why each Ad.Pierian wasn’t to be messed with! No one really knew what kind of power they would use as the fight broke out. But it was unfortunate that she met Dio! It took almost no time for Dio to dig a hole into her body and then threw a couple of Imploding Grenades into the hole before jumping out of her.
“I will end this fight soon!” Dio said as he smirked to himself. Beatrice immediately spewed another stomach acid toward Dio, but a huge wall of ice blocked it from reaching Dio. Even though the ice wall was easily destroyed after a couple of seconds, it was enough for Dio to reach safety.
“3, 2, 1! Bang!” Dio said as the Imploding Grenade that he threw earlier finally detonated. Beatrice instantly baacked off as she couldn’t withstand the powerful suction from the grenade’s effect. She immediately screamed in pain as she noticed that her body was being pulled apart and torn to pieces by a strange force.
She tried to escape the force by biting into a broken pillar to support herself!
Ruzie forced herself to transform as she noticed that the person who has been taking care of her in the past was facing a cruel death. Thus, she immediately cut the part of Beatrice’s body that was being pulled apart and immediately evacuated Beatrice’s body to safety. After that, Ruzie transformed back to her human form and fell to the ground, exhausted.
Dio walked toward Ruzie and the snake that was still alive on the ground. He never expected that Ad.Pierian would be this tough! Beatrice should have died from the Imploding Grenade’s firepower, but here she was still breathing despite receiving severe injuries.
Dio raised his scythe to end the snake’s life once and for all, but Ruzie immediately stopped him.
“You said that Sister Beatrice was being controlled by someone, so we should stop the man instead! Besides, I believe Sister Beatrice wouldn’t be able to do anything in her current situation.” Ruzie said pleadingly.
“Alright, but you owe me one!” Dio said as he put back his scythe into the card.
Ruzie breathed in relief and nodded her head earnestly before passing out on the ground. She had used the last ounce of her stamina by transforming into her goddess form. Therefore, she was completely useless now as she wouldn’t be able to move her body.
Dio sighed as he couldn’t waste any more time here. He also knew that the hole where Beatrice came from earlier would be teeming with traps! He needed another path to the forbidden area if he really wanted to find the Grandmaster as fast as possible!
Dio began to think about it for a while before summoning the [World]. He put his hand on Ruzie’s body and immediately used the Reality Overwrite ability!
All Ruzie’s injuries, along with her exhaustion disappeared as if it was all a lie. Ruzie immediately opened her eyes, and she saw Dio retracting her hand in front of her eyes.
“It feels good!” Ruzie said excitedly, “What did you do to me?” Ruzie asked curiously.
“It doesn’t matter right now. This road is too dangerous! Let’s take another course right away! Did you know another way to this Forbidden Area?” Dio asked urgently.
Ruzie immediately nodded her head subconsciously.
