Ruzie actually planned to retaliate as she didn’t know who this man was, but she knew that she wouldn’t be able to overpower the mysterious man right now at her current state.
“I don’t know why you are searching for them, but all the surviving clan members disappeared one after another! I didn’t know where they went. I thought that Heike must have something to do with it at first, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.” Ruzie said honestly.
Dio frowned as he wondered whether Grandmaster really came to Ad.Pieris.
“Did Ad.Pieris contain some treasure or secret that might draw people’s attention?” Dio asked curiously.
“No, there’s no such a thing here!” Ruzie answered worriedly.
“Are you sure?” Dio said as he exerted some pressure.
“I am sure! The previous king is my father, so I’m bound to know all the secrets and treasures in this planet!” Ruzie said confidently. Dio concluded that Ruzie wasn’t lying when he saw her expression, but then again, Dio still had a way to detect lies! Dio immediately licked her face and finally realised that Ruzie was lying!
“I tasted lies!” Dio said coldly.
“What are you doing?!” Ruzie said as she was startled by Dio’s sudden move.
“I can tell if a person is telling the truth by their sweat and after I know for a fact that you are lying!” Dio said coldly. Ruzie was shocked to hear that the mysterious man in front of her had such a convenient ability, but now that the cat was out of the bag, she couldn’t help but panic!
Ruzie knew too little about the outside world, and she didn’t know what the other race was capable of. Furthermore, the man’s ability to detect lies from the target’s sweat was too weird!
“I don’t know what you are talking about! I am telling the truth the entire time! If you don’t believe me, you can search for it yourself!” Ruzie said nervously. Dio began to wonder what Ruzie was hiding. He knew that Ruzie’s appearance was very charming as she could even transform into an angel despite her already beautiful face.
Dio knew that he ought to find out why the Grandmaster came to that planet before running into him to build his own advantage when he faced off against the Grandmaster later. Dio knew that something special had to be stored there. Otherwise, the Grandmaster wouldn’t bother that much. Another thing that bothered Dio was the reason why would the Grandmaster resurrect a dying race like a Gem Race just so he could sell it to his stupid brother?
“You don’t have to tell me its whereabout, but I need to know what I can do! The person that I am looking for is the man that started this whole catastrophe! He wiped half of the universe using the Infinity Stones and I have a reason to believe that he is in this planet! Now, if you don’t give me the information I want, I am afraid I won’t be able to help your planet in time later!” Dio said calmly, but it certainly brought horror to Ruzie’s face.
“Why would a person ever do such a thing?” Ruzie asked in disbelief.
“It’s probably for fun!” Dio said as he shrugged his shoulder.
Ruzie found it really difficult to take in this kind of information. She couldn’t believe that a man would wipe half of the universe just for the sake of fun!
“I am afraid it doesn’t matter whether you want to believe in my story or not, but that man still walking around in your planet is the fact that we can’t ignore!” Dio warned.
“How could something like this happen?” Ruzie said as she sat on the ground. She no longer desired revenge as the information that she got just now really broke her spirit. She believed that there was nothing she could do as the opponent this time wouldn’t succumb to Ad.Pierian’s ability!
“Now, can you tell me the truth?” Dio said calmly.
“Aren’t you afraid?” Ruzie asked curiously.
“Afraid? I already defeated him once! I shouldn’t have any problem taking him down again!” Dio said confidently. Ruzie started looking at Dio in a different light. There was a hint of admiration on Ruzie’s eyes. She adored strong people as she believed that strong people would always be treated with courtesy wherever they went.
“I suppose if you are that confident, you may find the person you are looking for in our family forbidden area!” Ruzie said with a sigh as she finally relented.
“I appreciate if you can give me more details!” Dio said as he nodded his head.
“Our family has a special water that would be given to a newborn to subtly improve our physique, awakening the hidden gene in our body. It’s the most important thing to have if our people want to control their transformation. The forbidden area is the place where we can find this Special Water.” Ruzie said solemnly.
“Special Water?” Dio said curiously.
“Yes, that is a secret that my family had kept for so long that even Heike doesn’t know about! I found out myself as I mischievously break into the forbidden area when I was young!” Ruzie said while nodding her head. “The secret regarding the Special Water was only passed from one king to another, and thus Heike never heard of it as he already betrayed our people before he my father passed down the secret to him!” Ruzie explained further.
“So, where is this forbidden area? Are you sure that place still exists?” Dio said with a frown as he turned his attention to the ruins around him.
“That’s alright! The forbidden area is hidden inside our family tomb, which is hidden deep underground. No one should know the location aside from me right now.” Ruzie said confidently.
Dio nodded as he chose to believe Ruzie’s word for now.
