Everyone’s attention went back to Mantis as she screamed loudly, but it was all too late! Thanos has recovered, and he immediately shook off Dio from his right arm before swinging his Oar Blade towards Carol and Spiderman! It was unfortunate as the Infinity Gauntlet almost came off Thanos’ hand!
Spiderman himself almost got sliced in half as he retreated. It was thanks to Venom inside Peter’s body that he was able to see another day as Venom immediately healed Peter’s wound! Thanos, who almost lost the Infinity Stones, was furious! He gritted his teeth and clenched his fist before a purple energy aura completely covered his body!
Thanos, who finally broke free, suddenly went on a rampage! He planned to dominate the fight with sheer power once again! The Space Stone suddenly glowed brightly before Thanos lifted his hands to the sky and waved it down!
Everyone gasped in horror as countless meteorites suddenly rained down from the sky!
This was a scene from an apocalyptic movie! Everyone finally realised how powerful the Infinity Stones really were! Dr. Strange, Spiderman, and everyone else immediately tried to get away from Thanos and save others to the best of their abilities. While everyone there was special, some of them still had a hard time getting away from such a catastrophic attack!
Dio knew that he ought to do something to save everyone. Otherwise, everything he did would be in vain! So, he quickly pulled out a Stand Card and threw it into the sky.

Dio had no better Stand to deal with the meteor than [Planet Waves] that he was so fortunate to get in his last draw.
“Everyone, get over here!” Dio asked everyone to flock to him. Dio knew that the meteor wouldn’t be able to hurt him as soon as he activated [Planet Waves] power.
Steve and the others immediately approached Dio as they believed that Dio wouldn’t do something to harm them intentionally. Natasha was the first one to come. She knew that she couldn’t escape the Meteor Rain on her own and immediately realised that some anomaly was at play around Dio. She noticed the meteor that fell towards Dio instantly turned into dust as soon as it entered a certain range. She couldn’t help but sigh in relief as everything around Dio was a safe haven from the falling meteor.
Everyone knew that if anyone could bring forth a miracle, it’d be Dio! But they had no idea what was really happening right now. How could Dio destroy the meteorites before it hit? Dio didn’t even do anything special!
Except for Quill and other Guardian of the Galaxy, everyone else flocked onto Dio for safety! But Dio wasn’t so petty to let Quill and the others die from Thanos’ attack! He called Quill and the rest of the Guardian of the Galaxy and protected them from the meteorites!
But Dio wouldn’t take all these meteorites for himself!
“Let’s end this! Meteorite Attraction!” Dio shouted as the meteorite suddenly changed its course. Thanos was their new target as the meteorite tilted and went after Thanos.
Steve and the others still thought that the meteorite was Thanos’ attack, but they were startled as soon as the meteorite suddenly changed course! The meteorite suddenly chased after Thanos, and none of the meteorites fell towards the Avengers!
They obviously heard Dio’s words, but they didn’t know that Dio was shouting at the meteorite. They just thought that Dio finally had enough and wanted to end the battle as soon as possible!
They looked at Dio with awe as they didn’t know that Dio could even control a meteorite! If Thanos never summoned those meteorites right now, they would never believe that anyone would be able to summon a cluster of Meteorites and make it fall to the ground as a way to attack an opponent. However, now, surely their reasoning was blown out of proportion.
Meanwhile, Thanos was furious! He glanced at Dio with disdain! “How dare you use my own tricks against me!” Thanos shouted coldly. Thanos squinted his eyes and looked at the sky before waving his fist up!
The blue light of the Space Stone enveloped the entire meteorites and stopped them in the air. Thanos waved his hands, and the meteorites suddenly broke apart! Countless rocks that were covered in flame fell weakly to the ground!
Dio also knew that he couldn’t use the same trick that Thanos used against him, as he would just use his Infinity Stones to turn the situation around. But it didn’t matter as he could use such power to boost the morale of the Avengers!
Morale was more important right now as the Avengers sure needed it! Furthermore, Dio only had to use the defensive ability of [Planet Waves] to protect everyone! After the dust settled, Dio pulled the chain around his waist and reinforced it with Hamon Energy before throwing it toward Thanos!
The chain immediately struck Thanos like a javelin, but Thanos easily blocked it and blasted it away with the Power Stone’s energy! Dio just smirked as he didn’t use this chain to attack Thanos. It was just an introduction to someone else, the real owner of that chain!
He already made a pact that he would be able to summon the owner of that chain once after throwing that chain to anyone he wanted to deal with! Surely, everyone was confused by Dio’s confident moves. However, as a wormhole appeared in front of everyone, they knew the reason behind Dio’s confidence!
