Asgard was gone, and so were Hela and Surtur! Dio started to wonder if Surtur was also destroyed as Asgard was gone, but it didn’t matter right now. Once everything settled down, Dio deployed many drones to search for the Cube because if Hela was really the one who took it, there might be a slim chance that the Cube survived the Ragnarok!
But no matter how hard Dio tried to find it, he couldn’t find it! Dio gritted his teeth in annoyance and tried to expand the area coverage, but still, he found nothing!

“Are you sure you want to take all these people to Earth? You should already know that the people on Earth don’t welcome any aliens, right? It might be better for you to go to Hamon instead. Dio frowned as he thought that Earth wasn’t exactly the safest place in the near future. In fact, Earth will become the most dangerous place in the universe as soon as Thanos set his sight on it! Furthermore, Carol, whom he asked for help earlier, hasn’t called him back.
Thor nodded as he understood Dio’s position. Thor then gave Dio the Casket of Ancient Winter that he took from Asgardian Vault earlier. “Take it! This thing is useless to me right now. You should be able to strengthen your Ice Ability with it.” Thor said solemnly. Dio took the Casket of Ancient Winters from Thor. He didn’t show it, but this Casket would certainly be put into good use!
“Alright! But you can have it back whenever you need it!” Dio said with a smile on his face. This Casket was certainly useless for most people, but it could be good if it were in Loki’s possession. Then again, Loki wasn’t here now! His whereabouts were still unknown, and Dio doubted that he would see Loki anytime soon!
“If you found hear anything about Loki, please help me bring him back! Although Earth wouldn’t welcome him, I will do everything in my power to watch over him next time!” Thor said with a sad expression on his face.
“Alright, I will let you know if I come across any information about him.” Dio said as he walked towards the Dark Battleship Control Room while Thor and the rest of the Asgardian were transported to another ship that was commanded by Valkyrie.
As soon as they separated, Thor and his company immediately headed towards Earth, while Dio returned to Sakaar.

The fire was raging, buildings were in ruins, and corpses were everywhere! The once magnificent Xandar was destroyed in a matter of days! A huge spaceship stood above the ruins while numerous enslaved Nova Engineers were being dragged into the ship!
The Spaceship looked very rugged as it had taken serious damage earlier. However, the damage wasn’t done by the Nova Empire at all! It was the cruel truth here. The Nova Legion couldn’t do anything to stop Thanos from invading Xandar! The damage to Thanos’ Annihilation Cruiser was done somewhere else by someone else entirely!
Who could it be? Who would be able to deal such significant damage to the Mad Titan’s battleship? The Nova Legion didn’t know who it was, but it certainly didn’t deter them from defending their home from the Mad Titan! Their defence barrier was annihilated with a single shot from Thanos’ ship! The Mad Titan himself didn’t show himself until the battle was over! That was the most humiliating thing that Nova Empire has ever experienced since a long time ago!
So, people began to wonder what was Thanos’ objective for conquering Xandar even though it didn’t have any Infinity Stone there. Honestly, the reason was quite simple, which was to repair his battleship as it took considerable damage!
Thanos always held onto his principle where the weak would become the servant of the strong, so in an instance where he needed someone else to do something for him, he would just simply dominate them to his will!
In a hidden place inside the battleship, a figure was nailed to a pillar by Corvus Glaive’s famous blade! But that was not the only thing that fixed the figure to the pillar as special chains, and an odd machine helped secure the figure from moving around.
The figure kept flashing a gorgeous light from time to time, but it was absorbed quickly by the chains and disappeared without any trace! At the same time, Ebony Maw was muttering something towards the figure, chanting spells and persuading the figure to fall to his brainwash!
“I failed again, but well, we have the time! I will try again later!” Ebony Maw said as he had tried many things to brainwash the figure without any result! He wasn’t discouraged by it as Ebony Maw wasn’t someone that would just give up over something trivial like a failure!
The figure smirked and spitted on Ebony Maw’s face before Ebony Maw left. This figure was none other than Carol herself that was captured and failed to report back to Dio! She was the reason Thanos’ ship sustained such damage, and she was also the reason why Thanos left Hamon planet!
Nevertheless, Carol was in a dire situation right now!
