It didnt take long before they flew deep enough into the mist that they could see the core region of the Yanlin City. They were shocked to discover it was mostly intact. The hearts of the experts of the Azure Flame World trembled. They never thought that it would be possible for the Outsiders to survive in the chaos.
However, the core region of the city remaining intact didnt mean that the Outsiders were perfectly alright. They felt that the Outsiders should have been greatly affected by the outburst from the Worlds Will earlier and they wouldnt retain much of their fighting strength. Perhaps, it was the best time to take them all down!
The experts on the flying ships seemed to have reached the same conclusion as they sped up towards the core region.

It swallowed the earth around it and after getting over its initial panic, it burst forth with all its might and leaped into the air above.
Who would have thought that before it could rejoice from saving itself, it would slam directly into one of the flying ships of the Azure Flame World?
Desperately swinging its claws around, the beast tried to stop itself from falling as it spun several times in the air. It actually managed to tear a hole in the bottom of the flying ship before rushing through the opening it created.
With the dense mist surrounding the flying ship, the attention of the Martial Sages on it was placed on the core region of the city. None of them expected a rank five spiritual beast to emerge from the ground below and tear its way onto their ship!
By the time they reacted, the beast was already somewhere in the ship. After narrowly escaping death earlier, the beast was completely on edge. It didnt differentiate between friend and foe as it started a massacre the moment it arrived on the ship.
