Chapter 838: Sending It

At the core of the forbidden region, Kou Chongxue’s Fire Element Fate Dipper Clone was the final line of defense Kou Chongxue left behind for Shang Xia.

He sealed a strand of sword qi in the clone, and it was clearly a lot stronger than the sword qi he sealed back in the Ruined Observatory.

Due to the sheer power it possessed, Kou Chongxue wasn’t able to store it in a treasure. He could only risk it all and store it inside his Fate Dipper Clone.

Clearly, his Fire Element Fate Dipper Clone wasn’t capable of storing the energy completely and he could only choose to enter a deep slumber beneath the Stellar Cauldron. It could only borrow the power of origin from the Origin Holy Artifact to prevent the sword qi from destroying its body.

Only when Shang Xia arrived to awaken the clone did it start to carry out its original purpose.

In the instant Huang Jinghan and Jiu Du forced their way into the forbidden region, Kou Chongxue’s Fire Element Fate Dipper Clone released the Origin Yang Sword Qi at its peak state.

The mighty Origin Yang Sword Qi filled the area in an instant and ripped into the spatial tunnel. However, it was so powerful that there was a split second where the spatial tunnel seemed to widen under its strength.

Huang Jinghan and Jiu Du were also peak-tier swordsmen of the Azure Ascension World, and they had to bear the brunt of the blow. However, it seemed as though they had expected as much. They avoided the sword qi the moment it was released, and they didn’t hesitate to step into the regions of shattered space beside them.

One had to know that Huang Jinghan and Jiu Du had already seen the Origin Holy Artifact. Even if they hid in the space around them, they were still stuck in the depths of the forbidden region! The moment the spatial tunnel they created earlier was destroyed, no matter how strong they were, they would be swallowed by the chaotic space that was created by the sword qi.

From the looks of it, the 2 of them had their fates sealed!

However... The instant Kou Chongxue’s Origin Yang Sword Qi emerged, another powerful sword qi that was comparable to it appeared from inside the spatial tunnel.

Unlike the Origin Yang Sword Qi that contained the will to sever everything, the sword qi that just appeared gave off a completely different feeling. It wasn’t even close to Jiu Du’s majestic sword intent, or Huang Jinghan’s profound sword qi. Instead, it emitted an aura that seemed to allow it to burst forth with an even stronger power when confronting absolute danger.

No one knew when, but another peerless swordsman arrived in the spatial tunnel made by Jiu Du and Huang Jinghan.

With the whistling of air and explosions ringing out in the void, a soft voice rang in the ears of Jiu Du and Huang Jinghan. “Many thanks for opening the spatial tunnel. I helped you guys block a good majority of the energy in his strike, and let’s call it even.”

“Yifeng! It’s really you!” Huang Jinghan and Jiu Du discovered the presence of the third person in the spatial tunnel some time ago, and they seemed to have guessed who it was.

That was why they dodged earlier when facing Kou Chongxue’s Origin Yang Sword Qi. They were plotting against the other person within the spatial tunnel! When they moved to the side earlier, they only stopped close to 40 percent of the energy contained in the strike in order to prevent the spatial tunnel from truly collapsing.

Every single one of the 4 Swordsmen of the Azure Origin World was gathered at the core region of the forbidden region at the moment, and even with 3 of them working together, they barely managed to stop a single strand of sword qi the other left behind.

Even if Kou Chongxue had reached the peak of the Martial Dipper Realm and was considered the strongest individual under the Sixth Order, he wasn’t able to deal with the 3 of them when they worked together.

With the Origin Yang Sword Qi shattered and the spatial tunnel preserved, Yifeng from the Eternal Palace revealed himself. Huang Jinghan and Jiu Du, who managed to escape from the rest of the sword qi earlier, also reappeared. They stared at the illusory figure standing before the cauldron.

In front of them was a messy screen of space caused by the exchange earlier.

That was the final barrier separating them from the Origin Holy Artifact.

“Kou Chongxue, you really arrived before us!”

“I am truly curious... What the hell are you up to?”

“Heh, this spatial screen can’t stop us!”

Yifeng was the last to speak and with a strange laugh, he slashed at the spatial screen before him. He seemed to be forcefully resisting the spatial fluctuations as he stepped onto the platform with the Origin Holy Artifact.

“Crazy bastard...” Huang Jinghan snapped as he waved his sword and did the same.

Jiu Du shook his head, but he followed closely behind.

With the Origin Holy Artifact right before them, everyone revealed a solemn expression.

“Kou Chongxue, all of us are old friends here. Aren’t you going to show your face?” Jiu Du yelled as soon as he arrived on the platform.

Facing his questioning, there wasn’t a single response from the cauldron. Instead, another fierce wave of world origin emerged.

“Is he already refining the Origin Holy Artifact?” Huang Jinghan raised an eyebrow in suspicion.

The weird look on Yifeng’s face disappeared some time ago, and he quickly muttered, “That doesn’t seem like it. He seems to be using the Origin Holy Artifact to do something...”

“What are we still waiting for? Are we going to just stand here and watch?” Jiu Du growled.

A sinister smile appeared on Yifeng’s face again and he sent a slash towards the cauldron. A strange laughter emerged and he muttered, “Since we don’t know what we have to do, all we need to do is to fuck with him such that he can’t do anything too!”

“Damn it! That’s the Origin Holy Artifact we’re talking about!” Huang Jinghan roared. However, he raised his sword and swung it at the cauldron in an attempt to suppress it so that it wouldn’t be able to escape.

Jiu Du rose into the air, and he unleashed his sword art as well. Not only did he plan to sever the curtain of world origin around the artifact, he wanted to stop it from spewing out world origin altogether.

They acted one after another. One of them was in charge of suppressing the Origin Holy Artifact, and the other directly attacked it. The last one tried to sever the connection between the treasure and the world origin source.

As Yifeng’s sword was about to land, he felt the space around him freezing completely. Even though the distance between his sword and the cauldron didn’t change, no matter how he tried to push it further, it failed to advance a single inch. There seemed to be multiple layers of space between his sword and the cauldron preventing them from coming into contact with each other.

Yifeng felt a subtle change in the space around him, but no matter how hard he looked, nothing was visibly different.

He suddenly thought of the others and he turned to look at them. Huang Jinghan seemed to be giving it his all as he tried to suppress the cauldron, and Jiu Du’s sword was also trying to reach the curtain of world origin in an attempt to sever it.

They looked to be in the same situation as him. Their target was right in front of them, but no matter how hard they tried, they failed to reach it.

Everything happened in the blink of an eye, but the 3 Martial Dipper Realm experts felt as though an eternity had passed.

It didn’t matter if it was Yifeng, Huang Jinghan, or Jiu Du, all of them realized that they had already left the space they were in earlier.

“Kou Chongxue, what the hell do you think you’re doing?!”

Never once had they doubted themselves. From the time they arrived, they thought that the person in the cauldron controlling the Origin Holy Artifact was Kou Chongxue!

None of them would believe that anyone other than Kou Chongxue had the capabilities to do something like that under the Sixth Order of the Primary Realm!

Yifeng continued to try to tear through the space around him, but he didn’t care about hitting the cauldron any longer. Instead, he only wanted to escape from the region of sealed space he was in.

Huang Jinghan also wielded his Yuanchen Sword with everything he had. He no longer cared about suppressing the Origin Holy Artifact. Instead, he only planned to stabilize the space around him such that he wouldn’t be thrown about randomly in the region of space. However, his attempts seemed completely futile.

Jiu Du still tried to sever the connection between the Origin Holy Artifact and the gushing world origin. In his eyes, they were the cause of everything. The moment he destroyed their connection, they would be able to escape their predicament.

Jiu Du was on the right track, but the problem was the fact that he couldn’t touch the world origin before him no matter how hard he tried!

“Spatial banishment... Is he planning on kicking us out from the Celestial Remains?” Huang Jinghan finally gave up and shifted his focus to protecting himself instead.

“The Celestial Remains is about the crumble. What’s the point of kicking us out? Even if he sends us into the chaotic void, we have our respective Sixth Order Ancestors out there to rescue us!” Jiu Du also gave up after trying many times.

Unlike the 2 of them, Yifeng was still trying to slash at the space around him. He didn’t seem to care that his attacks weren’t working.

“Crazy asshole...” Huang Jinghan couldn’t help but sigh when he noticed Yifeng’s actions.

“Hehehehehehehehe... Kou Chongxue, where the hell do you plan to bring us?!” Yifeng released another bout of strange laughter. He seemed to have guessed something as he directed his question to the cauldron not too far away.

Huang Jinghan and Jiu Du were shocked by his sudden yell, and a strange thought flashed through their minds. They stared at each other and saw the look of surprise in each other’s eyes.

...

On the platform in the Ruined Observatory...

When the 3 swordsmen were trying their best to strike at the Origin Holy Artifact, Lu Wuzi and Yi Jingxu finally shattered the barrier formed by the spatial fluctuations caused by Kou Chongxue’s remnant sword qi before arriving at the platform.

The sea of stars was revealed above them as resplendent rays of starlight fell on them. It bathed the Starry Tree while replenishing the Star Essence Water that gathered beneath it.

They stared at the Hidden Frost Sword that was stabbed into the platform and Kou Chongxue’s Fate Dipper Clone beside it. There was also the Lightning Bird who was standing on the clone’s shoulder.

At the same time, there was a rolling aura beneath the sword. There was a five colored ball of world origin gathered there, and from the sheer volume, it seemed as though it would erupt the next second.

“Kou Chongxue, just what the hell are you up to?!” Yi Jingxu frowned and asked the clone. He seemed utterly confused.

“I don’t care what he’s up to. All his preparations are going to waste today!” Lu Wuzi yelled as he took another step towards the center of the platform with his Halo Mirror in hand.

Behind the 2 of them, the experts of the Northern Sea Mystic Sect, Heavenly Star Palace, and Changbai Holy Land quickly ran over.

Under their gaze, Kou Chongxue’s clone slowly pulled out the Hidden Frost Sword that was stabbed into the platform.

Lu Wuzi, who had taken a step forward on the crowded platform earlier, subconsciously took a step back and stood side by side with Yi Jingxu.
