Chapter 701: Sudden Change, Fusion of Worlds

After entering the Five Elements Realm, Shang Xia displayed 2 powerful abilities. There was the five colored light that destroyed Kou Chongxue’s formless barrier, and the five colored shuttle that killed a fate dipper clone before it could react. Both were extraordinary, but that didn’t mean that Shang Xia possessed high combat abilities in the Martial Dipper Realm.

Tao Gongming was considered slightly average in the bunch who entered, but his cultivation was merely at the second element of the Martial Dipper Realm. He lost a fate dipper clone earlier, and his fighting strength was clearly affected.

Even under such circumstances, Shang Xia knew he wasn’t a match for the other party from the exchange they had earlier.

Shang Xia might have refined 10 fate dipper essences, but at the end of the day, they weren’t comparable to an Origin Dipper.

The 10 fate dipper essences he had caused the 5 elements he could use to be in slight disarray. Even with the mutual support of the 5 elements, they couldn’t compare to a true expert in the Martial Dipper Realm.

There was also the fact that Shang Xia didn’t have his own rank five martial art to fully utilize the dipper qi in his body.

After forcefully taking on the strike from Tao Gongming, Shang Xia couldn’t care about the unsteady fluctuations of inner qi in his body as he chose to flee.

During the process, Shang Xia discovered a surprising effect of his advancement medicine. His inner organs had been greatly strengthened during his breakthrough!

The most direct benefit of that was what he felt after he received Tao Gongming’s strike earlier. A portion of the energy was dissipated when it entered his body and it prevented him from suffering grievous internal injuries.

Tao Gongming didn’t expect Shang Xia to escape so decisively. After all, he didn’t think he had that much of an advantage during their exchange earlier.

When he thought about how the person was one of those who entered the Celestial Remains before them, he knew that he had to be hiding a huge secret. He understood that with his abilities, it wasn’t too possible for him to stop the other party.

He quickly transmitted the news to 2 of the experts he was more familiar with to explain the situation. At the same time, he rushed in the direction Shang Xia disappeared.

Not too long after he told them about his conjecture, a sudden change occurred. It didn’t matter if it was Shang Xia who was fleeing, or Tao Gongming who was giving chase. Both of them felt their souls trembling violently.

There was no warning before it happened, but Shang Xia had his guesses when he received the strange feeling earlier. He didn’t think too much of it back then as he had just broken through. However, the sudden feeling was countless times stronger. It gave all of them a sense of realization.

The mystical feeling could only be felt with the subtle connection Martial Dipper Realm experts had with the World’s Will. Shang Xia immediately knew what had happened when his soul shook earlier. The Azure Origin World and the Azure Spiritual World had begun the final phase of fusion!

He wasn’t the only one who knew what was happening. Tao Gongming was the same, and so did everyone else.

No matter who it was in the Azure Origin World or the Azure Spiritual World. As long as their cultivation bases were in the Martial Dipper Realm or higher and had a connection with the world, they knew that it was finally happening. Their worlds were finally about to become one.

When the worlds were fusing previously, the spatial barriers had been weakened constantly. The strongest experts of both sides were able to enter each other’s world if they wanted to.

Even though that was the case, both worlds couldn’t be truly considered to have become one. The spatial barriers might eventually disappear, and the Void Abyss in the Beyond Heavens Pavilion might finally be filled up. However, as long as the World’s Will remains independent, the Azure Origin World and Azure Spiritual World will never be considered a single entity.

Feeling the strange resonance with their souls earlier, everyone knew that the wills of both worlds were finally about to complete the last step.

Once it was complete, the Azure Origin World and Azure Spiritual World would cease to exist. What would be left would be a completely new world!

During the process, the surface of the world would undergo a great transformation. The change could be a great blessing, but it could also be considered a disaster to some. As the handful of peak experts in the new world, the Martial Dipper Realm experts had a faint connection to the World’s Will and would be able to affect the change to some extent.

That was why every single Martial Dipper Realm expert only had one thought at that moment. They had to return to their factions as soon as they could!

When Shang Xia escaped earlier, he naturally started to run towards the exit.

Even though Tao Gongming had lost track of Shang Xia’s presence, he knew that he was headed in the same direction as the exit. He couldn’t be bothered with Shang Xia any longer as he knew the most important thing was for him to return to his Suppressing Sun Gate.

The Martial Dipper Realm experts who entered the Celestial Remains no longer cared about what they could obtain. Without exception, all of them headed straight for the exit.

This time, Shang Xia seemed to have gained the advantage.

With the help of his Abyssal Void Shattering Talisman, he was the first to arrive at the spot where he first entered the Celestial Remains.

Throughout the journey, Shang Xia once again confirmed how useful his Five Elements Origin was when it came to assisting his travel through the void.

As the space within the Celestial Remains was weak to begin with, there were spatial cracks everywhere. There were some regions where space had collapsed and those were places even Martial Dipper Realm experts didn’t dare to cross. They could only fly carefully around those unless they were like Kou Chongxue who had the assistance of the Origin Holy Artifact.

As Shang Xia made his way out, he discovered he was able to use his Five Elements Origin to suppress those cracks and regions of collapsed space to make his travel easier. With less obstruction in his way, he greatly reduced the time needed.

That was one of the most important reasons he had to be in the Martial Dipper Realm to leave the Celestial Remains anyway.

If everything went according to plan earlier, Shang Xia would have gone to look at the Ten Thousand Needles Pine after escaping from Tao Gongming. From the looks of it now, there was no time to do so.

That was because he learned from Kou Chongxue that the institution was planning something for when the worlds merged. He had to return immediately and grab a hold of the best time to complete their scheme!

There was also the matter of Shang Bo waiting for them outside the Celestial Remains. After all, that would mean that Ji Wenlong was the only Martial Dipper Realm Ancestor back at home.

The spatial barrier at the entrance of the Celestial Remains mainly served the function of stopping people from entering. Leaving was a much easier task.

Of course, that was when Kou Chongxue was present. Shang Xia might have entered the Martial Dipper Realm, but he didn’t have the assistance of the tyrannical Patriarch Kou any longer. He could only rely on himself if he wished to force his way out.

If he was slightly worried about how he was going to do it when he just escaped from Tao Gongming, the journey over allowed him to feel a lot more assured of what was going to do.

As soon as he arrived, he shattered a jade pendant Kou Chongxue handed to him earlier. Now that it was broken, Shang Bo, who was outside, would be able to sense the destruction. He would lay down the guiding formation Chu Jia laid down previously and lead Shang Xia in the right direction when he left the Celestial Remains. It could also allow him to avoid the spatial cracks and regions of collapsed space.

Shang Xia didn’t hesitate. Raising his Abyssal Blade, he poured his dipper qi into it before slashing mercilessly at the void before him.

A five colored blade light tore through the void and cleaved a deep spatial tunnel that Shang Xia leaped into immediately.

The moment he did, the opening started to restore itself. The next moment, the spatial tunnel he made could no longer be seen and the space regained its previous calm.

When he entered the spatial tunnel, he could feel a strange power locking on him before guiding him in a certain direction.

Shang Xia followed it and flew through the colorful void around him. Throughout the process, he had to remain fully alert. Danger might appear from nowhere, and there were times he would have to make a decision when there were different paths for him to take. Of course, the most important thing he would have to ensure he avoided was the large scale regions where space collapsed on itself.

Luckily, he released his dipper qi and created a five colored light barrier around himself to stabilize the spatial tunnel, making his journey a lot less dangerous than it would have been.

Using yet another Abyssal Void Shattering Talisman, the journey became all the more smoother.

Along with the strange energy that was guiding him away, he could prevent himself from getting lost in the void. The feeling became stronger the further he went, and it eventually became so intense that he didn’t have to pay much attention to follow it. He could place a lot more attention on dealing with dangers that would appear suddenly.

No one knew how long had passed when Shang Xia saw a spot of light growing larger in the distance. When he used his full strength to step into the region covered by the light, he felt everything spinning around him. It was as though he broke through some sort of barrier as he appeared in a brand new space.

He immediately released his divine will to look at the area around him.

“Why is it just you?! Where’s Patriarch Kou?! Huh?! You entered the Martial Dipper Realm?!” A voice rang in his mind the next moment.

Shang Xia turned to look at the source of the voice and saw the look of worry combined with a trace of pleasant surprise on his grandfather’s face.
