Chapter 614: The Silvery-Gray Fate Dipper

Without mentioning Yun Jing, even Shang Xia was shocked by his lack of response.
The Tongyou Island might be really close to the Beyond Heavens Pavilion, but they were still a giant landmass that was 1000 miles in diameter. There was no way a spatial tunnel that could bring them back could be created so quickly.
With the incoming threat of an expert at the Martial Dipper Realm, Kou Chongxue’s decision seemed to portray that he had given up on all of them.

The strike contained the entirety of his strength, and he aimed directly at the Nine Blossom Jade Formation Disc.
As soon as the formation disc was destroyed, the grand formation would shatter accordingly. The Tongyou Island wouldn’t be able to remain in one piece without it.
Yun Jing didn’t have to say anything for everyone to realize that they had reached the critical moment that would decide their fate. Everyone poured their inner qi into the formation node under their feet without holding back.
The hole that had been punctured earlier was already restored. The protection barrier was back to its original state, and Chu Jia didn’t hesitate to shrink it down to concentrate all the power around the small area that contained the Nine Blossom Jade Formation Disc.

When the golden lance struck the barrier, a burst of golden light filled the area and enveloped the entire island.

The golden lance might be stuck in mid air for the time being and it hadn’t struck the Nine Blossom Jade Formation Disc, but as the person in charge of controlling the grand formation, Chu Jia could tell that the protection barrier was reaching its limits.
Everyone had given it their all, but it seemed as though they were unable to stop tragedy from happening. Despair and sorrow filled the hearts of those on the island.

None of them spoke. It might have something to do with them focusing fully on pouring their inner qi into the grand formation as they didn’t have time to reply to her.

When Shang Xia was getting curious about what it was, a silvery-gray light erupted and expanded rapidly.

Shang Xia felt the pressure on him weakening greatly and his divine perception recovered. He managed to clearly feel the situation around him again.
The next second, a loud explosion happened above their heads.
Everyone who barely managed to recover their divine perception felt their heads spinning once again from the massive blast.
Luckily for them, everyone had been subconsciously pouring their inner qi into the formation node beneath their feet to keep the grand formation running.
Following the earth-shaking blast, a miserable scream rang in the ears of those present as the golden glow was abruptly cut short. The silvery-gray light grew in intensity and the situation started to turn on its head.

With 3 ancestors, the only thing the Tongyou Institution lacked to become a holy land was to turn themselves into the Tongyou Paradise!
Not too long later, a silvery-gray light returned from the depths of the sea of stars. Shang Bo’s figure appeared above the island once again.
