The eight faced sword flicked once, sending the jade flying to the spot where the sword tore through space.
“Hmph, dream on!” A cold snort came from nowhere and the spot where the silvery-white light broke through space and a yellow light out out from within.
The eight faced sword released a strand of sword qi that smashed into the yellow beam.
Unfortunately, the odd-shaped jade couldn’t withstand the shockwave of the clash and exploded into multiple shards and flew in all directions.
The experts wielding the sword and the one who summoned the yellow light beam clearly didn’t expect that to happen. They hastily sent their energy in all directions in an attempt to gather the shards.

His target was wielding an eight faced sword that looked really familiar.
“It’s you!” The golden masked cultivator recognized Shang Xia the moment he arrived. He knew that it was the person who snatched the origin jade from him.
Facing the slash coming his way, his expression changed drastically. The words that made their way to his mouth earlier couldn’t emerge as he raised his eight faced sword in a state of panic. Swinging it 7 times in succession, he summoned multiple rays of sword qi.

7 loud scraping sounds rang through the air along with various explosions. His sword qis were shattered when Shang Xia’s Abyssal Blade came crashing down and it landed directly on his sword.
