Chapter 577: Great Observation Sect
The cooperation between Shang Lubing and Bu Jingshuang was seamless. They dealt with a region of shattered space tens of miles long.
When they returned to the island, Yun Jing had a wide smile on her face as she praised their teamwork. “I haven’t seen the Triple Frost of the You Continent in action for a long time now. The way you guys work together is amazing indeed.”
Shang Lubing released a soft sigh while Bu Jingshuang broke into laughter. “It’s alright, it’s alright. I hope we didn’t embarrass ourselves in front of everyone.”
Yun Jing looked at Shang Lubing and chuckled, “You guys should take a break. The others can step in and deal with any other obstacle we find in our way.”
Bu Jingshuang nodded in response. “Alright. We’ll be on alert and keep a lookout at our surroundings.” After he spoke, Bu Jingshuang grabbed Shang Lubing as they took their leave.
Yun Jing and Shang Bo glanced at each other as they left. Yun Jing had a smile on her face while Shang Bo shook his head slightly.
With Yun Jing’s deployment, Shang Ke and Zhang Haogu took over as they continued to keep watch at the front of the Tongyou Island. They were tasked with dealing with anything in their way to keep the island safe.
The way she arranged the experts on the island had nothing to do with their individual cultivation levels. Instead, everyone was to take turns to keep a lookout and deal with any trouble that appeared suddenly. Even Yun Jing and Shang Bo themselves could spring into action anytime they discovered something.
The only experts on the island who hadn’t been deployed to stand guard were Chu Jia, Shang Xia, and several clansmen of the Ren Clan who hadn’t reached the Martial Extermination Realm.
As the only Formation Grandmaster of the Tongyou Institution, Chu Jia had to place all her attention on controlling the grand formation. She had to steer the Tongyou Island around and she was in no position to care about anything else.

The Martial Extermination Realm experts on the Tongyou Island were paired up as they took turns taking care of the threats that appeared in the island’s way. Every group would be responsible for an hour of protection. Since Shang Lubing and Bu Jingshuang took care of the first threat, there had been countless rotations. Two regions of fragmented space had been dealt and another pair sealed a huge spatial crack in their path. The Tongyou Island’s journey might seem smooth, but Yun Jing and Shang Bo could feel that their speed had slowed to a crawl. They were even slower than when they had to avoid all the land fragments back when they first started.
“There’s something strange about the space here…” Shang Bo said.
Without a change in expression, Yun Jing nodded. “We didn’t expect the journey to be smooth in the first place and we thought of all these difficulties back when coming up with our plan. I’m not afraid of all these… Instead, I’m still thinking about the experts of the Spirit Abundance World. After using their Sacrificial Formation to harvest fate dipper fragments, they seem to have disappeared. We didn’t discover traces of them even during the destruction of the Manyu Continent. Do you think they will give up fighting for the World’s Will at the last second? Shang Bo fell silent for a moment before he replied, “Well, there’ll be someone to deal with the problem if shit hits the fan. After the news came, the speed of the Tongyou Island reduced significantly.
Staring out into the void, Yun Jing said in a low voice, “I’ll head over and take a look. You should keep watch here.”
After she spoke, she didn’t wait for Shang Bo to nod. She turned into a streak of light and appeared tens of miles away.
With the assistance of Yun Jing, a fourth layer Martial Extermination Realm expert, Liu Qinglan and Yuan Zhen merely used the time it took to brew a pot of tea to create an opening in the spatial barrier. They quickly sent news back to the core region and the island continued on its way.
As the Tongyou Island pushed forward, those on the island quickly caught sight of Liu Qinglan and Yuan Zhen returning. Ren Bainian and Qian Sitong quickly approached the front of the island to take their place.
When Shang Bo saw Liu Qinglan and Yuan Zhen, a frown appeared on his face and he asked, “Where’s Deputy Patriarch Yun?”
Widening their eyes in shock, Liu Qinglan and Yuan Zhen looked at each other, dumbfounded. Eventually, Liu Qinglan explained, “After opening a gap in the spatial barrier, Deputy Patriarch Yun told us to return. She stayed behind to wait for the next group of people to take over…”
“That’s not right. Why can’t I feel her presence?” Shang Bo muttered to himself. With his eyes widening slightly, Shang Bo raised his voice and nearly yelled, “Did she remain where you guys opened the gap or did she cross the barrier to scout ahead?!”
Liu Qinglan seemed to realize the problem now that Shang Bo mentioned it. Her expression changed drastically but Yuan Zhen was still slightly confused about the matter. His ignorance allowed him to react quicker than Liu Qinglan. “She went ahead!”
“Slow down!” Shang Bo turned his head and yelled.
Like what happened when the Northern Sea Island faced Shang Xia’s giant obstacle made from fragments of the Manyu Continent, the Tongyou Island immediately started to slow down. However, the Northern Sea Island didn’t manage to stop and slammed heavily into the obstacle anyway, even with 3 Formation Grandmasters controlling the movement of the island. The Tongyou Island only had Chu Jia, and despite her efforts, the 2000 mile wide Tongyou Island continued on its way and it sailed past the spatial barrier.
Strange spatial fluctuations caused Shang Bo’s expression to sink. “Everyone, prepare…”
Going through the spatial barrier was like crossing a formless gate. As soon as they did, the world seemed to twist around them and they felt as though they had flipped around.
The change caused everyone to be taken by surprise and their vision spun, making them slightly dizzy. Luckily, the formation on the Tongyou Island was active and it allowed everyone to remain on the island. No one dropped off the island and floated off into space. They were merely caught off guard.
Due to the strong disturbance, several parts on the edges of the Tongyou Island started to crumble. The massive Tongyou Island that was 2000 or so miles large shrunk by 3 to 7 miles.
What’s more…
Another floating island appeared a mere hundred miles away from them. That island was upright and floating in the direction of the Tongyou Island.
“An enemy has appeared! Prepare for battle!” Shang Bo, who was the first to regain his senses, roared.
The dozen or so experts on the island quickly circulated their extermination origins. Forcing themselves to adapt to the discomfort brought about by the flipping of the island, they got ready for battle. At the same time, they stared in the direction of the foreign island.
A ray of light flew towards the Tongyou Island all of a sudden.
Ren Bainian reacted quickly and wanted to stop the ray of light from approaching but he heard Shang Bo’s voice booming in the distance. “That’s Deputy Patriarch Yun!”
When the ray of light returned to the island, Yun Jing’s figure emerged and she cried out hastily, “It’s the Great Observation Sect of the Yu Continent…”
