In the beginning, Kyle felt that it would be a shame to leave the Lahin kingdom.

They had peace in the Lahin kingdom, and could focus on their lifestyle occupation, and cultivate.

It was even more important for Selene to get to know more about her own race and to figure out what she actually wanted to do.

Maybe if given the opportunity, she would love to become a true noble of the Lahin kingdom.

Kyle doubted that but it was still possible.

However, now that she killed another Lohar noble, and that she belonged to their group, the group of Cultivators, who were about to kill the son of the Lahin kingdom's duke, it was quite obvious that this opportunity was for naught.

Starbreaker appeared in Kyle's hand, and he disappeared from his previous location, just to appear dozens of meters ahead, the blade pulled hide above his head.

"Nooo, don't kill me!!!!!" the Duke's son screamed out, his voice reverberating through the surrounding.

However, Kyle's eyes were ice-cold. He had enough of people, who thought that they were better than others, those people, who thought that they could do everything they wanted just because they believed to have some sort of special birthright.

Their talent might be higher than others, they might be born into an influential and powerful family but that didn't mean they should be allowed to do everything they wanted to.

From the moment Kyle had entered the Glory Knight academy, he could tell that the Lahin kingdom was rotten. He didn't show how he felt to anyone, but Yasmine and Beatrice had noticed it.

They also knew that Kyle only stayed in the Lahin kingdom for Selene's sake and that Kyle felt no connection to the Lahin kingdom, at all.

Not a single place felt like home to Kyle, and that could be considered one of his big problems.

The Aldras were different from Kyle, their lifestyle was different than his, and they were not Yadras. This was a simple fact Kyle was fully aware of.

However, what nobody could tell was that Kyle didn't need any Yadras to be by his side, but that there would be a place, where he could live peacefully without trouble.

He knew that this was hard to achieve and that there would always be trouble by his side, even more so because it seemed like the Souls of the Old Universe attracted trouble.

But this could be solved easily as long as he was able to become strong enough to create a place for himself, and the people around him, a place where everyone could live peacefully.

This was something Kyle wished for and he would give his best to create such a place!

With that in mind, Kyle slashed out with the Starbreaker. He cut down with all his might, while the powerful winds around the blade amplified the might of the impact.

Blood splattered on Kyle's face, but his eyes didn't waver. He stared straight at the dying body in front of him, the body he was cutting apart without blinking with his eyes.

It was a gruesome sight, but Kyle knew that he had to endure it, that it was important to be able to kill even members of other races.

He hadn't done so often because his focus had always been on killing beasts, or members, who didn't look much like human descendants.

However, that had changed. It was as if something in his mind had been switched on. Kyle might not like to kill, but every single happening since he reincarnated resurfaced in his head just when he cut the Duke's son in two halves.

The Lohar died on the spot, and his soul was released from the dead mortal body only seconds later.

But Kyle didn't even think about grasping it immediately. His entire existence felt like it had entered a state of confusion.

Kyle's mind blanked out for several seconds, and he began to wonder if everything he had done was correct, or if there had been something he should have done differently.

'Until nothing happened to those, who I hold dearly…but what happens if my hesitation causes the death of the people I hold dear? If someone were to kill Selen, Yasmine, or Beatrice because of my hesitation to kill others, would I ever be able to forgive myself?' He thought.

The question was good and Kyle believed that it would take him a while to answer it. However, this was just a dumb thought because it was easy to tell that Kyle would regret it for his entire life.

And it was also the reason why he killed the Duke's son, and his other friends, without mercy, not even thinking about sparring with them.

'They nearly killed Yasmine, didn't give a warning, and they weren't even trying to threaten us with death if we wouldn't dare to give them the Mana stones we mined…they just wanted to kill us.'

Fortunately, Yasmine had been fast enough, but Kyle could tell that if the blue-furred Lohars had been just a moment faster, she would have died.

It might have not been his fault…however, Kyle knew that he could nurture everyone's paths of development. With his help, everyone would be able to become much stronger, and there wouldn't be any restriction on their progress, not as long as he could procure enough energy to nurture them.

As long as they were strong enough to fight everyone, to defeat them easily, everything would be fine. However, to achieve this, he would require enough energy to nourish them, to nourish all their paths and to make them infinitely stronger…and to achieve this others would have to die.

However, the more Kyle thought about it, the more selfish he became. The life of others became less significant than the life of his loved ones, and his guilt about killing thousands of monsters, just to nourish Arashi a bit, or one of his partners lost all its meaning.

His worries disappeared in the light draft that swirled around Kyle, and it was like a heavy weight had been lifted from his body.

Turning his head, he smiled at Yasmine and Selene. Just a moment later, his hand reached out, grasping the soul of the Duke's son tightly. He absorbed the Soul without hesitation before he reached the corpses of the other Lohars they had just killed.

"Let's transfer the content of their spatial rings before we burn them. Afterward, we should pick up one or two treasures before we leave the Ancient treasury, and the Lahin kingdom, forever."

Selene and Yasmine noticed that Kyle was a bit different since they had entered the Ancient treasury's dimension.

The change stupefied them a bit at the beginning, but they were also a bit glad that he was honest to himself now.

It was as if he finally gained the freedom he never felt before.

Selene would have loved to stay a bit longer in the Lahin kingdom, to get to know her race's heritage.

However, she also knew that the racism against commoners with black fur, and the favoritism of nobles was something she would never be able to accept.

It was simply disgusting, and definitely not something she was able to cope with

Her past was filled with more than enough pain for one lifetime. Thus, rather than staying with her own race, and the people she didn't like, Selene would rather leave with Kyle and his partners.

'I have waited long enough for you, I won't let you go anymore!!' Selene just thought, not even thinking about leaving Kyle, not before and never in the future.

"Alright, lead the way. We will follow you, right?" Selene asked, turning her head to Yasmine, who had not yet regained her senses, to make sure that she was on her side.

Yasmine was not ready to cope with the consequences of having killed the Duke. Yet, she had acted instinctively, helping Kyle and Selene in the fight.

She was also the one, who had been attacked. Nonetheless, she was a princess and had just killed the nobles of another kingdom. If that were to come to light, it would be more than just a little bit troublesome.

'Well…whatever, I'm not a princess anymore. I'm a Cultivator, who's traveling with Kyle, Selene, and Beatrice now!!' Yasmien concluded after a few moments of hesitation.

"Yeah, let's go. It looks like we have to be quick, otherwise, trouble will await us the moment we leave the Ancient treasury's dimension. I doubt that any of us here wants to run straight in some guards at or above the Krysal stage after they find out what we did to their nobility." Yasmine tried to smile, but the forced smile turned her beautiful face into something weird.

However, Kyle just smiled, clearly understanding that someone might have eavesdropped on them.

"Fortunately enough, we are faster than anyone. We will reach the Ancient treasury's city, and leave the dimension, at least a few days, more probably an entire week before anyone knows that the Duke's son has been killed, let alone that it has been us."

Kyle's eyes couldn't see a Lohar or anyone from the special class in the surrounding. That meant even if someone heard the commotion and came over just to see the dead body of three nobles, one of the duke's sons, and some sort of unique brown-furred Lohar, it would take some time to figure out that it had been Kyle and his people, who killed them.

It was only important for them to leave without anyone knowing where exactly they went and it would be fine, perfectly fine!

Nonetheless, Kyle fet that it was better to create some pressure on Yasmine and Selene because it would allow them to be even faster than without knowing the entire truth.

"Looks like we have to make a run!" He thus said, smiling faintly before he ascended into the air using some of the remnants of his Soul force.

Absorbing the energies of the surrounding, he grasped Arashi's to make allow his Spirit Soul to replenish his Soul force.

However, because it was necessary for Arashi to support Selene in running through the air, the entire scenario looked a little bit odd.

But that was not something any of them bothered about. They had to rush back, get their hands on several well-hidden treasures within the Ancient treasury's city, and make an even bigger profit than they had already made.

The incident with the Duke's son had been quite troublesome, but the situation allowed Kyle to leave everything behind without any bad feelings.

It was quite advantageous if one were to ask him. And in fact, Kyle was quite happy to leave the racist Lohars, who had prejudices against almost every race.

There were a few good Lohars, including the Queen, who tried to improve things, but Kyle couldn't think of the entire race with a favorable view just because of that.

Thus, after three days passed, and when they finally reached the Ancient treasury's city, Kyle's eyes began to gleam brightly.

"Let's loot the shit out of this place!!"
