Chapter 143 Sometimes There Is No Need For Solution

"Well, you probably don’t know but this whole situation happened because someone tried to assassinate me today. If not for my healing abilities, I would already be dead." Xuefeng explained with a sigh. He was still shocked from everything that occurred earlier.

"Who would want to kill you?" Yiren asked worriedly sitting next to him on the sofa.

"It is someone who is actually courting Tianshi, my girlfriend which I had even before I met you guys. He must have learned that she has a boyfriend and tried to get rid of me." Xuefeng smiled wryly. He was already fed up with those spoiled Young Masters.

"Mother, is that girl nice? You must have seen her right?" Yiren asked her mother with a hint of jealousy in her voice as Xuefeng didn’t call her his girlfriend yet.

"Hmm, she is passable... I think we will have no problems talking with her. She also cares about Xuefeng a lot. What, you wanted to keep Xuefeng here, right?" The Queen thought for a second and gave her honest opinion before asking with a smile.

"Mhmm..." Yiren nodded as she placed her head on Xuefeng’s shoulder.

"That’s not the solution at all. I want to get stronger to protect all of you. And I would have to leave you from time to time to do that, but I can promise you that I will be always coming back. You are my precious girlfriend after all." Xuefeng shook his head rejecting their thoughts before he kissed Yiren on the forehead and told her what she wanted to hear.

"What about me?" The Queen asked from the other side, feeling left out.

"Well, what about you? I don’t know, you tell me. I don’t think good girlfriends are trying to dig holes in front of their boyfriends. You really had to make your ex-lover angry? You know that Xiao Feng will vent his anger on me when I come back, right?" Xuefeng rolled his eyes hearing the Queen and asked with frustration. He still did not get payback for what she did in his clan.

"Oh come on, I was just a little bit jealous, alright? You did not need to kiss with that Tianshi right in front of me, okay?" The Queen tried to defend herself immediately but facing Xuefeng’s stern gaze, she ended up losing her mighty temper and apologized, "I’m sorry... Don’t be mad at me...", while snuggling herself into his embrace.

"Eh, you should be helping me next time instead of acting like that. You are not alone anymore." Xuefeng sighed and caressed Queen’s delicate cheek.

"Mhmm..." The Queen nodded, slowly changing her single mother mindset. She didn’t have anyone who cared for her like this in a long time.

"Alright, now let’s think of a solution to another issue. What are we going to do with Yiren’s and mine connection? I’m guaranteed to get hurt multiple times in the future. Is she going to suffer each time I am taking a fight or can we somehow fix it?" Xuefeng pushed them away to the side and turned serious for a moment. He could not focus at all when their ample chests rubbed against his arms.

"I don’t even know how it works. Yiren, do you feel when I touch him?" The Queen touched Xuefeng lightly on the hand and asked her daughter.

"I do not. To be honest I only felt strong emotions and the moment when Xuefeng was actually hurt. If the emotion is not strong enough, it is not sent over to me, I think." Yiren shook her head, denying.

"I recall now that I felt a strong feeling of longing. Was it you who missed me so much?" Xuefeng asked with a smile.

"Yes... I also felt some emotions of yours like a lot of pleasure. You must have had a great time with Tianshi. Every night... I almost couldn’t sleep." Yiren nodded shyly before her cheeks blushed as she exposed Xuefeng’s night games.

"Cough, cough... I am sorry." Xuefeng apologized knowing that his intimate activities with Tianshi did not belong to short ones. It was either him that reached his limits or Tianshi who begged for mercy.

"How about we test what level of the pain is transferred?" Before Yiren could respond, the Queen pulled out a small but sharp knife and asked while stabbing it towards Xuefeng’s leg.

"What are you doing!?" Xuefeng, fortunately, noticed it and managed to grab her hand in time.

"Hehe, I just wanted to test something." The Queen giggled and tucked the knife away.

"Can you stop with your jealousy already? You really need some spanking recently. But I guess the best punishment for you, would be the lack of it." Xuefeng asked speechlessly realising why she acted like that.

"..." The Queen took a deep breath and pouted while puffing out her cheeks. It was obvious that Xuefeng hit the nail on the coffin.

"Acting cute won’t help you," Xuefeng smirked before he called out to Ling in his mind,

’Did you figure out how to solve this problem? I don’t want her to suffer in the future.’

’I did. It seems like your spirits were connected by Wisdom Tree with her Fate Qi, but with my current strength, I cannot fix it. I think she is the only one who can do something with it but if Wisdom Tree didn’t mention it since we came here, then I guess even she can not do it. Maybe she will tell you why when you meet up with her.’ Ling told her thoughts to Xuefeng.

’Eh, I guess I will have to figure it out. Time to start my training.’ Xuefeng sighed in his mind and asked out loud, "Yiren, would you mind teaching me Elemental Arts for fire, earth and water? Later when I enter Wisdom Tree Space for training, I will ask her if she can undo our connection, so don’t worry, you will not have to suffer anymore.

"Of course I can help you..." Yiren agreed immediately but she didn’t have much enthusiasm when she said it as if something was bothering her.

"What happened? Do you feel unwell?" Xuefeng asked seeing her conflicted face.

"I actually do not want to lose the link I have with you... I kind of like the idea of being connected to my lover." Yiren expressed her thoughts which conflicted with everything they were worried about.

"Why didn’t you tell us from the start?" Xuefeng asked confused. He was almost stabbed by the Queen to test the functioning of this connection, even if it was out of her jealousy.

"You didn’t ask me for my opinion..." Yiren said, feeling wronged.

"I will still try to make it easier for you and I will attempt to lessen the pain you can receive if I get hurt. I do not like it when someone is getting hurt because of me, okay?" Xuefeng offered a compromise which Yiren gladly took.

"Yeah, leave me alone while you train. I will just sit here and take care of my stuff." Seeing them ready to leave, the Queen called out to them sarcastically while she pouted cutely, folding her arms under her ample bosom.

Xuefeng laughed inwardly before he proceeded to leave while holding onto Yiren’s hand, teasing her with words, "Okay, as you wish. I was just about to offer you to train with us but if you wish to stay then we are leaving."

Only when they actually left did Queen’s stubborn face fell and she called out, "Wait for me!"
