“How many?” Elliot dumbly repeated his question in surprise. “Uh’| At my current level, twenty five more. But the more I tame, the stronger I will get, so that number will probably go up.”
“Excellent! Excellent!” Brock grunted and snorted in excitement. “Twenty five is enough. I will bring you on a grand tour around the country, and I will help you subdue all the giant, half-rotten ancients that I know of. In fact, if we gather enough giant beasts, we might even be strong enough to subdue THAT particular beast. HA HA HA! HA HA HA HA HA!”
Elliot stared at Brock who was laughing gleefully with a strange look on his face. “Somehow, this old dude reminds me of myself.” He mumbled to himself as his eyes strayed to the giant anaconda’s carcass.
“AH! I need to harvest its poison sac to be able to craft the antidote!” Elliot cried out. “Damn I almost forgot. Hey Brock! Stop laughing and help me cut out its venom sac! I’ll need it to craft the antidote for you when I get stronger.”
“AH right! Let me do that now!” Brock replied enthusiastically and immediately went to work.

Elliot took out the vial that contained the Generic Anti Venom Potion before and nodded his head slightly. “I should be able to store at least ten drops here. Perfect.”
After storing ten drops of the anaconda’s venom, Elliot glanced at the rest of the massive carcass.
“It seems like such a waste to leave this carcass behind. Is there any way that I could somehow make use of it, Hawk?” Elliot asked.

“Beat core? Ho ho ho! So this anaconda has risen to such a high level! To think that I was able to defeat it so easily! I must be really powerful and formidable to be able to fight above my grade! Mwa ha ha ha!” Brock laughed gleefully as he praised himself to the heavens.
“Uhhhh’| Hawk, does signing a contract make the beast more like me? How come I feel like he is becoming more and more shameless like me’|” Elliot asked.

As he watched Brock dismantle the anaconda’s body starting from its head, Elliot was struck by a sudden bout of curiosity about the snake’s stats.
He nicked another small hole in his palm and pressed it to the snake carcass’s many wounds.
A closed mind space did not descend, but the snake’s stats did appear.

“Om nom nom.” Brock chomped on the snake meat hungrily.
“Hey! Ah, well. You might as well eat it.” Elliot sighed. “In fact, Ellie! Rex! Come on out and eat! It’s time to feast!”
Ellie and Rex quickly came out.
“Master? Oooh that’s a big dead snake. Can I eat it?” Ellie asked.

“Go! Eat it! Hey wolves and hawks, you guys go and eat some too!” Elliot told them.
Within seconds, eleven wolves, two bears, two hawks and a kitten were feasting on snake meat.
“Now, let’s assign my points. After gaining 4 levels, I got 40 points, less the 5 I used to buy the vials. Stingy ass system. I think I need to increase my stats so that I can gain personal strength also. I can’t always depend on my summons and pets. Let’s see’| 10 into strength, 10 into luck, 10 into intellect and 5 into endurance! Go for it, hawk!”
