Let us turn this all around.
"What are you doing?"
"I do not know."
"What do we do?"
"...Focus on the others. Hitori-san will take him. He does not look like a threat."
Akira clenched his fist. The scientist guy jumped and swung another punch at Hitori. Then he pulled his gun forward.
Hitori created a shield, and the gun's head banged against it. Then he pulled the trigger. The shock and jerk Hitori felt due to the bullets made his forearm hurt. He jerked his arm and tried to push him away.
"Who the devil are you?"
"How arrogant can you be?" he said, glaring down at Hitori. He pulled back his gun and changed his target to Hitori's abdomen.
Hitori clicked his tongue. "I am not here for that bullshit. I can not waste my time with someone I do not even know!"
Hitori drew Kamiya's wand and fired a fireball at him. Again, he took the fireball head-on and nothing happened to him. The fire just turned to smoke on touching his chest.
He stepped back as the guy advanced. "It is because of you my brother is Wanted. It was not his fault. He can not even use magic! But you did something. You messed him up when we can to kill you at the hospital."
The hospital. Hitori was angry he was in Akemi's room. He remembered, but that made him even angrier. "It was not me!" Hitori shouted as he fired an ice spear at the guy. "Your brother was a psychopath. He started sucking some emotions and turned them into dark magic."
"Why the fuck would he do it? And how the fuck? He is a scientist!" He changed his target to Hitori's head and pulled the trigger.
"So what? I do not care what happened to him." Hitori raised the shield to block the bullet. On striking, the shield shattered into pieces and pushed Hitori down to the ground.
"So he is a scientist. You did something and now he is wanted. What did you do?" He just would not back down and the other men were closing in on the side yard.
Hitori reached for the ground, but his hand slipped and he landed hard on his butt. He looked back at the guy and said, "I did nothing, I am telling you. He could use magic on his own."
"How?! Tell me, how?!"
Because he was possessed by a Realm's Emperor from the World of Cultivation. It would sound ridiculous, but Hitori wanted to just blurt out the truth without caring how it sounded.
Hitori grabbed the wand and raised it when the guy's gun fell over his eyes. He dropped the wand on the instant and raised his hands. "He was a fucking scientist!"
A bullet shot in the silent field froze everyone for a moment. Tengoku's men stopped a few meters away from the field. Akira and Eya and Kakashi froze and their mouths dropped open.
For a moment, even Migi and Tengoku stopped to take a glance, then they went back to exchanging blows.
Hitori's eyes widened when the bullet pierced a hole in the guy's thigh and blood started dripping on Hitori's abdomen. He kicks the ground and crawled away from him.
Even he could not feel the pain in his thigh for long. He looked at the wound, then screamed. He stepped away and tapped his chest.
Something erupted from his abdomen, from the battlesuit, and wrapped the wound in tight black cloth. He staggered till he did not have to stagger anymore.
"So what if he was a scientist?" It was Reon. she was walking towards Hitori and the guy with her gun held her forward in one hand and the other resting beside her. Her lips were pulled inside, she had an offended look on her face.
Hitori turned to her and so did the guy. "Who the fuck are you?"
"A scientist who can use magic. Want to see?"
Hitori raised his eyes. "No!" he said, shaking his head. "You do not have to prove anything to him." Then he saw the men cocking their guns. "We need to think of them first."
Both of them ignored Hitori. Akira reached out to him with his wand pointed at the guy. He grabbed Hitori by the shoulder and lifted him off the ground. "Are you alright?"
"Yeah, I am fine. We do not have time for this though."
"I know. You need to take action." That again. Take action because you rule! "You remember that, right?"
Hitori nodded. "But he has—"
"Something personal with you." Then he leaned closer and whispered in Hitori's ear, "I believe it has to do with Tamashi. You know what happened in the hospital right?"
"Ningen. Yes. I can not forget that… that smile…" He did not want to, but the image of Ningen's smile just appeared in his mind.
Reon continued, "So what if was a scientist, bastard? Can Scientists not use magic?"
"Y-You are a scientist? And what are you doing with them?"
"Learning to use magic."
The guy, Saiko, frowned in disgust. "What the fuck is wrong with you? Why is this so messed up? My brother starts using magic all of a sudden, and now a scientist wants to learn magic. What the heck is this, Professor?" he shouted.
Wait. Professor? Hitori turned and looked over his shoulder. Tengoku struck the vines-roots-covered branch, then turned around. "See? I told you. This mission would be nothing like any missions I have been on. They are messed up!"
He spun and blocked a strike from Migi, he was flexing his butt and thigh muscles as he rocked back and forth, then jumped.
"Fuck this shit," Saiko said. "You all are out of your minds. Y-You ruined our lives."
Hitori sighed. "We do not want to hear his monologue. If you are going to do it, then do it now, Akira." Akira nodded. Then Hitori said, "I will find a way to—"
They heard a screeching sound from the sky. Everyone raised their heads and watched as a brown color lizard glided above them.
Akira gasped, then smiled. "K-Kyo-san!" he said, turning to Eya and Kakashi. They smiled and nodded back in response.
Then Draco started coming down… toward the ground. The men started firing at him while the robots aimed their machine guns at Hitori.
But before the robots could pull the trigger and fill everyone with bullets, fire swept them away. Draco breathed fire which took everything and everyone from the other side, leaving nothing but burning flames of fire.
